red kyorge told me about this, and it works! If you go to http://www.iaza.com , you can add transparency to images! Just click on the color you want transparent and hit Convert! Then you can right-click the image and save it. |

Yeah, someone told me avout this site a long time ago. It's pretty easy. P.S, I love how you are an Art Moderator, yet you're just figuring out transparency. |

You know, if you need to make a transparent image, GIMP is free and simple. Hell, with a little bit of effort, even MS PAINT can do transparency, just not very well. |

Iaza is more than a means of making things transparent, it also lets you animate things, like this animated Aggron: By the way, nice avvy! |

seriously!? i wish i knew this earlier! i'm not good at doing the spriting stuff with gimp. all i do with it is little touch ups to make it look nicer and transparency. and thats annoying having to click every little space i want transparent. and i like the new "avvy" as well. |

when you're adding alpha layers, use the magic wand. then you only have to click two or three times. |

i do use the magic wand. its just sometimes theres little groups of pixels boxed in by some part of the sprite and then you have to click there and it gets annoying. |

I knew about the Iaza Transparency thing for a long time. kittygirl1001 told me about it. And I use MS Paint and GIMP. Mostly MS Paint. I find it easier to use MS Paint. |

well, to each his own, i guess. i only use paint to make generic parts, like my trainer card layouts (which i need to redo lol), and the base for my ice sculptures. then i use gimp for everything else. |
