I also would like NO event Pokemon, but for the special pokemon to be hidden deep in areas, just like in Emerald/FRLG, like they did with Mew, Deoxys and stuff.

We need in the Gameboy/DS versions...

2.Choice of any generation of starter (MAN LONG TABLE!)
3.Type Attack at lvl. 7
4.10 Pokeballs given from aide
5. Electric Starters

I think having all of the regions in one game and having to beat everything in them would be cool like in gold/silver version after you beat the joto region you go to kanto so going from sinnoh to hohen to jototo kanto would be the best game ever!!!!

- a more open-ended storyline

Personally I like the next game to have a online world. If they wanted to take it this far the could also make into sort of a mmorpg. You would have to challenge gym leaders to get badges to advance your trainer level. Hmm perphaps you could get bonus if you only use one type? Could make trying to obtain legendary pokemon like the really really hard endgame raids of Wow or something. I don't know but there are alot of way to advance this.

Again a remake of Pokemon Gold and Silver. It's obvious that this is going to happen due to the game release pattern.
And then a Special Edition of P/D... Opal (real name by scientific and logical guesses)

A pure female fighting pokemon would be interesting

-MMORP-style online play, where you can walk around and encounter other players, challenge them, team up with them, or trade PKMN/items.

-Refering back to what a just said, some special missions that you have to carry out with a team/another player. Maybe, instead of having stupid events or E-reader pokemon, make pokemon like Mew/Jirachi, et al, accessible through special team missions

-Evolutions for Plusle and Minum. They're cute, but kinda...useless. Why not let them evolve into Pikachu, and then into Raichu, but keep their powers that boost each other in battle? Minus+Plus+Helping Hand+Raichu=two powerful electric types.

-Longer storymode. Let there be, like, secret missions to carry out after the Elite Four, with super-high level trainers and wild Pokemon.

Oh, and most definitely character customizability.

Amen to that. I hate having to be some guy running around in a beret.

Able to choose the pokemon to use at the beginning of a battle instead of it being the first one in your list.
More pokemon and more regions in the same game would be good

I want a secret Key Item that'd allow for pokemon in your party which can learn certain HM moves be able to use the move from a pokemon that does know it, but is in the PC storage. I said it a little confusing-like, but basically I want to use the utility of HM's like Cut, Fly, and Surf without having a wasted move slot for it. Surf is a good move for battle, but Cut and whatnot just sucks.

Also, bring back item storage so I don't have to carry so much crap around.

i would like to see a thrid Diamond-pearl version....like pokemon amethyst or something....and would like to get the GSC starters without catching 200 pokemon on emerald......and a preevulution for lapras....yep

I want to see customisable characters and them to do away with the stupid HM system. Items to do the job would work better.

Can make ur own character up , ( is cool for online )
more online options for Pokemon on DS . Like also get online with eachoter in the Pokemon World and fight together VS Computer and not always in a specail room ( But i am happy they have online now :d it works great but later it will be even better if they had more options like maby i just gave ) .

They have that in D/P. But you have to have somebody following you. When you walk in the grass, two pokemon meet you instead of one.

I hate HMs. I agree with whoever said it. Just use items.

to costumize if you want a shiny pokemon for yours the exact level you want. like in gold silver crstal for 16 gyms. and also a way to get every legendary with out cheating or nintendo events

I would like to see:
Jobs! It makes a lot more to do after beating the e4. like breeder, poke-hunter, Nurse/doctor, Gym leader( ).
Bigger maps.
Customizible caracters.
Day/night visible
MORE THAN 3 STAGES OF EVOLUTION! For pete's sake, Why can't Tendo just make a 4-stage pokemon?!

Also, I think every legendary should be available. I hate the pokemon that are only available by "nintendo events".
