Luckily, I've been in a "power metal mood" recently, so I won't be listing any death metal songs.

I'm not sure if your idea would work very well, but we can at least reflect our musical tastes using this thread. There have been, however, many similar threads to this one, so there's a chance that this thread may be locked/deleted in time.

For me, it really depends on the week, but here's what I'm listening to the most right now:

1. Boston: Foreplay - Long Time
2. REO Speedwagon: Roll With The Changes
3. The Black Mages: Hunter's Chance
4. Bruce Springstein: Born To Run
5. George Thorogood and the Destroyers: One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer

This hardly embodies my top 5 of all time; that would require a lot more thought, and I'm a bit too sleep for that at the moment.

5- God Help the Outcast from Hunchback of Notre Dame/ All Around Me by Flyleaf (Severe watery-eyedness)

4- Angels on the Moon by Thriving Ivory/ Your Guardian Angel by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (Single/double-tear(s) rolled down my cheek)

3- Like a prayer by Madonna (Tears stream down face while singing)

2- Who Knew by Pink/ Skin by Rascal Flatts (blubbered hysterically while singing )

1- Christmas Shoes by Sheltering Tree (Could not sing the song because I was crying so hard, and cried for an hour and a half after the song went off, with the occasional wail of "Why?!")

I was listening to my friends i-pod the other day, and she has such a combanation of songs that made me want to cry and think about life.
these songs included:
1-bad day-daniel powter(my new favorite)
2-august rush title song
3-breaking free-high school musical (I hate high school musical, but that is their only good song)
4-a bunch of other august rush songs.

I very almost cried.(it takes a lot to make me cry)
