Warriors: The Darkest Hour by Erin Hunter, there was not a lot of romance between Firestar and Sandstorm however. :x

Oh, I like many, many books. My favourites would probably be, in no particular order:

His Dark Materials trilogy (The Golden Compass being the best)
The Lord of the Rings trilogy (Return of the King being the best)
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series (Can't choose one from this series... they're all equally brilliant)
The Chronicles of Narnia series (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the best one)
Catch 22
The Grapes of Wrath
To Kill a Mockingbird
Nineteen Eighty-Four
Of Mice and Men
The Hobbit
Ender's Game

And many others...

I tend to like series instead of individual books, but I like all of Tamora Pierce's books, Xanth, Proton/Phaze, and Incarnations by Piers Anthony. I like Ender's Game and that series, His Dark Materials, and I'm starting to read some books by Ann Rand. Now there's a headache and 3/4! :)

I have completely fallen in love witht the book Eragon by Christopher Paolini. Ive read it two times and hope to read it a third time soon. :D Ive gotten many of my friends into Eragon, as well (Eragon, for one). Another series that i have fallen pray to is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Its amazing!! Such a detailed and in-depth story line. I love it!!! :D

The only (one and only) problem with Lord of the Rings is that it is soooo detailed and in-depth that you can spend about 5 minutes per page trying to visulize it and follow the plot amid the descriptions. I like them alot; I guess I'm just a fast reader. And I agree with you all the way, SovietRuler! That book is awesome!

I'm also reading The Long Walk. A great story on a prisoner working in Siberia and his escape to India by walking. It's a true story.

yes zahn and orson scott card are among my favorites also. and i forgot asimov's foundation series: sci-fi classics.

im currently reading "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Very good literature from what i can tell so far by reading the first chapter. (its for school though so i may not end up liking it that much cuz we get a lot of literary analysis essays)

I love Eragon, as SR1 has pointed out. But The Crystal Prison (book 2 of the Deptford Mice triligy) comes in with a close second.
