USA had a legit shot at gold over China in women's gymnastics, but Sacramone had to ruin it. Ugh.

USA will probably win, and i don't really care about. I just wanted Brasil could get some gold medals. Only 3 brozes are kinda humiliating.

I think the US will get the most medals... Only because they happen to have Aquaman on their swimming team ¬_¬

1 bronze for mexico doesnt make me feel very special.(Synchronized diving of 10 m). Although she was the one who carried our flag. Luck, destiny?
Blargh and yeah I hope Phelps gets his medals, he could beat that tracy woman who has like 48.
I hate to say it, but overall USA has more medals, but golds are golds, and china has almost twice as many as USA.

Considering China has a billion more people to sift through and recruit, one would think they'd win all the time. They are performing better; I'd like to see more golds for USA as well.

hum.. yeah.. but Mexico can win some medals. I think the only hope for gold here is soccer and beach volley, IF Ricardo and Emanuel wins.. Ana Paula and Larissa? I don't think so.

USA will get soon: Basketball and probably more 20 gold medals in swiming (still wants to see Tiago Pereira winning the gold from Phelps, even knowing this will not going to happen). And some others that I can't imagine right now.
btw: four bronzes! yay?

He could've done 9.5X if he hadn't celebrated with 15 meters to go.
Also, Phelps went 8/8. YAY!

Well in the span of three days good ol' Blighty has climbed to third in the medal leader board from tenth place. With a total of only 27 medals... Take that Australia, Germany, Russia, Korea, Japan, Italy and Ukraine. Sure we're behind China and America but China are a dictatorship and athletes can't have more motivation than 'A medal or she dies' and America has Phelps the Man-Fish. So overall... We're doing brilliantly.

WTF? Did anyone saw what hapened to Fabiana Mueller?? That the weirdest olympics I've ever saw.

Well.. Cuba was also this kind of place, but was horrible at sports.. the only thing they really play well is volley, and any kind of fight (Of course.. The players from the volley team spit on the other team -_-).
also:

So what? Cameroons soccer team is full of over-aged players. If they don't do anything with them, why should they do with that girl?
Conclusion: Worst Olympics Ever. If it was possible, they would probably add something to the water where Phelps was, so the chineses could win. Oh yeah, and did you see the new ball for volley? 15 days before the games start they change the ball... Ridiculous.

It's an unfair competitive advantage. The younger, and consequently smaller, girls have an advantage in both size and flexibility over the athletes of countries that abide by the age rules.
p.s. according to what I see, Cameroon is using the exact number of non U23 players they are allowed: three.

ok.. let's start: first, i was being sarcastic. Second: Weird. The Sports programm that showed the game said that cameroons was with more over-aged than the allowed.
But whatever... anyway, I was hoping Argentina to win from Brasil, and... Yeah! it happened. (Why? Easy: Because i want that coach to get out.. but apparently CBF won't do it, even loosing to our biggest rivals... )

why the bra silian soccer always loose on the finals? they just have everything to win, and then.. *poof* loose... darn.. whatever.. Brasil will never win the olympics anyway.. congrats on the gold, USA. Win China for us here ^^
Galar wrote: ROFL brazilian soccer

that's not funny and you should be ashamed for making fun of a neighbour country...
i just don't understand how could the brasilian soccer get so weak. They were the best in the world... now.. not a chance.

I'm convinced he's genetically engineered. I mean he got all golds and broke a world record for every single one. It ceased to be a bloody competition after he won the third medal. They might as well just release a shark into the pool so he can fail to outrun that. Well at least Britain is still doing well. Except for Paula Radcliffe. If she was a horse she would be dead by now.
