The whole of Resident Evil 2. Of course, I was...what...thirteen or fourteen back then? The part where Chief Irons gets ripped in half by that big chest parasite was friggin' nuts lol. |

I first played Super Mario 64 when I was eight years old. This eel terrified me because it was the first time I had played a 3D game with a giant monster that jumps out toward the screen; this is something that has always made me a little edgy and has provided me with tons of boo-scares in video games, TV and movies. The somewhat dark, underwater surrounding didn't help. Unagi gave me nightmares for ten years until I played Super Mario 64 in 2006 and faced my fear... and laughed at how silly his primitive swimming animations looked. This, on the other hand, was hilarious. |

Now I've got use to the cries. lol.. this happened to me too, but i jumped 20 feet, because my character stopped walking right after, and i didn't see the trainer coming ^^ I thought my Ruby Version was broken, since i wasn't walking on grassy patches, neither close to any pokémon.. phew.. It was just the pokémon breeder asking for a battle |

I think I'd have to say that RE2 is probably one of the "scariest" games, and that SM64 piano always freaked me out too. I'm having a hard time thinking of something that seemed to always scare the **** out of me. More will come to me. |

Playing level 6 (aka 343 Guilty Spark) on Halo: Combat Evolved for the first time. The foreboding atmosphere leading up to and the panic after the discovery of the Flood, plus the fact that I was playing the game home alone at night without the lights in my room on, made for a perfect setting to terrify me =p |

The first time I encountered a chainsaw guy in Resident Evil 4, I nearly peed myself. ....And, moments later when he lobbed off my head, I did pee myself. ......Gewd times. |

To this day I still fear going down into the Well in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Shadow Temple creeps me out too, but something about the Well just makes me wanna grab the lens of truth AND GET THE outta there! DX |

Definitely RE2 when I was younger, but the worst game that gave me the creeps was Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit. Most memorable moment? One of the cops, Carla, has claustrophobia. So, of course, when she goes to the asylum to ask some nutcase a few questions and begins to leave... The power shuts down, the lights go out, and all the freaking doors to the inmates open. It was...fun, trying to escape. After that, for awhile, I was afraid of the dark. |

Kruggeikarp wrote: That. Sounds. AWESOME!!!! What system is it for?! That. Post's. OFF TOPIC!!!! There's no such thing as a search engine?! The first game that gave me the creeps was Quake II... I would watch my older brother play it when I was quite young, and the enemies scared the crap out of me. As for scares from my older and more recent life, the scariest moments for me were the battles against the Regenerators/Iron Maidens on the Island in Resident Evil 4. Those things are freaky, man. |

though doom 3 is one of my favourite video games and the demons aren't that scary, there's one demon that freaked me out. it has got the face and torso of a baby, insect wings and demonic hands and feet. the baby part was that wich scared me(sounds insane but if you see it you'll understand) i was so terrified, i didn't dare to shoot it and started running, trying to avoid seeing it.it killed me though . |

Tomb Raider, the one for ps1, where the dinosaurs are. I still have a heart attack every time I try to do that. The Old Chateau in Pokemon Diamond, and all of the Genome Cyborg game. *shudder* |

The game I mentioned before is for a few systems, so I can't really say. I played it on my PS2 and now I wanna play it again, even though it's one of the few/only games I shiver to. Registeel_Rocks wrote: As for scares from my older and more recent life, the scariest moments for me were the battles against the Regenerators/Iron Maidens on the Island in Resident Evil 4. Those things are freaky, man. I have the game and I've replayed it so many times it's almost carved into my head (although only Leon's story). I remember my first playthrough, and walking into the operation room. My heart sank when I saw the first regenerator lying on the table. And oh yeah, I jumped when the guy bursted out from the heater thing in flames. ... When I was little, I watched my friend play the Lawnmower Man video game on Sega. The **** thing, the story it was based from, and even the freaking box scared the **** outta me. I had nightmares for ages. This was the picture on the box. Good job, Stephen King. |

I must say that when I was younger, I was scared by the Zelda series numerous times. Majora's Mask was a very creepy game, especially the Ikana Canyon. The Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time was also quite creepy. |

i was probably the only kid who wanted to take the game back as soon as they met this guy. >_> the shy guys in yoshi's story (n64) gave me nightmares after playing it and dying over and over again, but maybe that's because i was 6 or 7. |

I don't find RE2 scary because I like horror games that may happen in real life and I don't think RE2 would happen in our world. The scariest game I ever played was the entire series of Fatal Frame. It's hard to imagine that I like this game even though I'm scared of it. |
