Does anybody here play them?
For anyone who don't know, roguelikes are a genre of games that usually involve turn-based movement, random (or at least semi-random) dungeons, and permanent death as well as text-only graphics. As an example, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series are roguelikes. In my opinon, they're like the books of the game world. You can imagine the scene however you want.
If anybody's interested in getting started, some good ones to start with are ToME and Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup. Both have ASCII as well as graphical versions available which makes it easier for new people to get used to it. If you're starting with Stone Soup, I've got some tips if anyone wants them.
