Blink 182 (Blink one-eighty two  heh)
Their music is uuber cool, they are emo, as my friend says 'Tom Delonge is the hottest Emo!' :roll: Along with another 4566345 girls...
I can get bored of their music easily, the song 'down' I got bored of it so quickly. Blink 1-82 = 7/10

They are definitely not emo, since they became big before the emo scene rolled in. they do have some songs that sound emo, but doesn't everyone? |

Blink 182 have a song called Stockholm Syndrome? Like Muse? I've never heard that one, but anyway, I don't think they're an Emo band, though I don't know about the lead singer, but I like most of their songs. |

Of course, I'm referring to the days when they had Scott Raynor as their drummer, instead of Travis Barker. As of their later works, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket was a decent album (it had its ups and downs), as was Enema of the State. Their self-titled album is garbage, however. Its depressing anthems and poorly written songs were not good to listen to. If they ever do come back from their hiatus, and re-form the band, I doubt they will make anything as good as their original albums. forget everything i said there. i started listening to blink 182 more and more in the past year and im hooxed. |

To me, "emo" isn't even a type of music. So no. And the only song I know I like by them is What's My Age Again. *shot* I know so little about them that I didn't even find out they split up until just now. |

They are not emo. They are not punk. They are just three brats with little musical ability (save Travis Barker who actually has talent, but he's such a fag I don't like him anyway) that write catchy melodies and act like idiots. (I'm a fan, by the way). If you consider yourself a real blink-182 fan, stop listening to their new crap (which includes Angels and Airwaves, The Transplants and +44, they all suck) and go buy an album like Dude Ranch or Enema of the State. Or just YouTube songs like "Dammit" or "Josie" before you give me this "blink-182 is emo" garbage. Edit: They're not getting back together, ever.
