i saw a few things here about tournaments and battles......is there some inside game here that idk about? that u actually play? or is it for some world wide thing? i'm new here, so i hope this comes out right.

I believe the tournaments and battles you are talking about are the pokemon battles held on wi-fi with pokemon Diamond and Pearl. We share Friend Codes (usually through pm) and battle. If you have Diamond or Pearl and don't know what I'm talking about then read the Diamond/Pearl instruction manual. If you don't have Diamond/Pearl don't concern yourself.

There is also a program called Netbattle, that allows you to battle online against other players, using a computer.
