I would like to upload pics. But the problem is I just don't understand what BBcodes and HTML are. I read the FAQ but I still don't get it. Can somebody please explain these word for word to me?

Here's my summing up of them, correct me if I'm wrong.

BB Code = Codes or tags such as or [quote='Name'][/quote]. When you disable it, there will be no images, quotes, codes, etc displayed.

HTML = Coding such as programming to change the cursor on a particular page, or on forums, to make them flash. [As seen on April Fool's Day]

A link, in BBCode:

Code:

A link, in HTML:

Does not work.

BBCode is generally thought of as the more "user-friendly" version of HTML, made specifically to be used on forums by normal people. Geeks, like myself, often know how to use HTML and may prefer to use that, because it is somewhat more flexible.
