i tend to get really crazy with my banners - somewhere around ten layers textures, five to ten layers the image, and then tons of layers for brushes. i tend to make a separate layer for each brush i use, because the settings always have to be different. o_o;

text layers take up some space, too, and they're the most aggravating part. i can never get text on a banner to look right, it's always too big or too small or the wrong font.

two banner commissions, both for advertising in the subeta chronicle.

the second one is obviously rushed and as a result looks pretty mediocre. the first one, though, i took my time on and is badass.

I like the second one more than the first. :x
