I just spent two and a half hours writing up the best frist chapter this website has ever seen...
And I lost the whole thing because my sign in timed out or somethin and when I hit post I had to sign i again and the whole thing disappeared.

I hate it when that happens! That's why I always "copy" longer posts like five times before I post; let's just say I'm paranoid about that happening. It's happened to me far too many times in my opinion.

I just rewrote the first half of it, but I coudln't be bothered writing the entire first chapter because I had alreayd written it out once. I'll put the rest up later. Maybe later tonight or tomoz. I dunno...
I just ran out of tonic water so now I'm doing straight gin. So not cool.

Firefox is guuud to me  , it recovers what you type if you time out before you submit.
I just write my stuff in a word document and then copy/paste it here, word automatically recovers so I almost never lose my work. Try doing that Psyches. _________________  ^DarkCosmos, Poems^

(The Firefox, I mean. I always Copy/Paste with Word also.) If I write something especially long, I try to save it every so often, then keep editing the rest in gradually. I once did that with my etymology topic; I had gotten up to Bibarel and had just finished, was about to press Submit, then Firefox went spastic on me and refreshed, and I lost everything after Bibarel. I eventually did the rest, but sometimes even dependable internet browsers can't be trusted.
