They're really cool, and you have a lot of skill, but they look nothing like Eeveelutions. The first one should be a Psudolegendary and the sedond one should be a prevolution for Spiritomb. |

Especially on Paint. ![]() ![]() |

If you ask me, a pre-evo to Spiritomb would look awful, simply because the Pokémon's design is: a slightly more detailed, purple ripoff of Spongebob's "The Dirty Bubble." The Pokémon Company isn't immensely creative when designing Pokémon. I do like the ghost type a bit, but apparitions aren't generally a depiction of a rotting corpse (as the ribs suggest) but a recreation of itself at a previous moment. However, it does follow certain themes surrounding other ghost-type Pokémon, and I think it works. The dragon-type makes me think of grass more than dragon. The wings are vestigial, the horns seem wooden, and the mane is more like a growth of vegetation. Different cultures have different representations of dragons, so I would try to integrate a fox with an image from any of those that works best. |

You know what Datvu? The first one DOES look like a grass type. Maybe Grass/Dragon? |

Although the first one really does look like its a grass pokemon, the second on look awesome, in my opinion. To make them look more like an Eeveelution, try making the face on Wispeon less cruel looking, more as if its comically mischievous. As for the dragon, i think the wings are a nice touch, but unnecessary, the horns should match more with the traditional spirally or segmented horns horns you see on both oriental and European dragons (this will help it look less like grass.) Besides those small things, i think that overall, they were pretty good, keep up the good work. |

Thanks for the comments everyone. The horns are, in fact, wooden. This is because of the fact that the Japanese culture's dragon is the one I model him after, taking (or stealing... Whichever word you want to use... I prefer "borrowed") some pieces from Dragons in certain Anime and Manga and folktales. One such dragon would be Shenlong, or Shenron from Dragonball. Which is another reason why he is green. However, the assumption that he could be a grass type is far from wrong, because many creatures in Japanese Folklore have a connection to nature. I didn't give him sharp horns specifically for the reason that he's Japanese for the most part. And Drakeons wings (He doesn't really seem like an Eeveelution... So maybe I'll change his name...) are in fact vestigial. I was going to put a Pokemon entry for these two, but I was too lazy... The one for Drakeon explains that because even didn't have wings in the first place, the wings didn't grow properly. Drakeon is also somewhat based on the Qilin or Kirin in that its a mix of different dragons and its face lacks the two whiskers of an Oriental Dragon and its Pokedex entry, which I have yet to publish, states many things similar to the Kirin. But as the circumstances have changed the Pokemon, They will be renamed. Drakeon will now be known as Japanese: Moryuu (combination of Mori [forest] and Ryuu [Dragon]) and English: Hergon (pronounced ur-gon mix of herb and Dragon's -gon). And Wispeon will be known as Japanese: Maaku (Mix of Maa [Demon] and aku [evil]) English: ... I dunno yet... suggestions? |

i think the ghost type looks like it has horns, but i agree with making look more mischevious. at the moment its kinda called 'Creepy-on' just cuz it looks pure evil |

One thing i've noticed with eeveelutions is that each one has it's own set of special ears. For instance, vaporeon has gills, glaceon those weird scarf-things. so maybe if you want to make them look more like eeveelutions try to change their head a little?? tho i like them a lot, they just don't look like eeveelutions. but good job!!! (it's better than i could do on paint) EDIT: Maybe for Maaku, try less skeletal towards the torso. |
