Ray noticed the rustling of the bushes as well. "Who is this 'Kiki'?" He looked towards where the Pinsir ran to. He let out Fang, his Ratatta. "Sparky, Fang, can you two try to lure than Pinsir back here?"

Pika, Pikachu!

Rat, Ratatta.

"You guys are the best." His Pokemon ran into the forest, trying to lure the Pinsir back.

Gary laughed. "Oh sorry, Kiki's a part of our group. Unfortunately, she got lost back here and we came back to find her. You didn't happen to see her, did you?" Gary gave him a very concerned look. He heard more rustling. "Kiki, is that you?" He looked back to Ray. "That Pinsir shouldn't be too tough after that, especially if you've been chasing it for so long."

"I'm guessing that's her. And only two people I know can make a person scream like that. Fang and Sparky. Let's go find your friend, shall we?" Ray took off in the direction of the scream, not caring if he ran through the leaves and dense underbrush.

The others followed Ray closely. At least he seems to know what he's doing. Once they'd reach the spot, Gary saw Kiki on the ground. "Go Sandshrew!" Keep her safe!" Sandshrew nodded and ran to Kiki's side. "Shrew!" He looked at the scared Caterpie and gave it a look as if to say it was going to be okay. "Ray, take that thing down!"

"You got it. Sparky, use Thundershock!"

Pika-chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

The area surrounding the three became as bright as day. The Thundershock connected with the Pinsir, sending it to the ground. "Pokeball, go!" Ray threw a pokeball at the Pokemon, and it went in. The ball began to shake back and forth, violently at first.

Kon heard Kiki's scream, as did Kyouko and Kiiro. Kon turned to Kiiro and said "Kiiro, can you lead me to the source of that scream?" the Pikachu nodded, and started running off, with Kon and Kyouko following closely after. After a few minutes of running, they found Kiki and the thing that made her scream "The Pinsir from earlier!" she exclaimed. The Pinsir turned and started making wierd noises "Kyouko, use Ember!" Kon shouted. Kyouko, happy to finally get to battle, shot out a small blast of flame from her mouth, roasting the Pinsir to a nice golden brown when it made contact. Kon grabbed out a Pokeball and tossed it. It hit the Pinsir and sucked it into the ball, it shook wildly, but then it stopped. Kon picked up the Pokeball and said to Kiki "Are you okay?"

Gary's mouth dropped. "Well...um.....we're here to um...save you...?" He turned to Ray. "So uhh...sorry about your Pinsir, man." Gary gestured to the pokeball in Kiki's hand. He then looked down at the Caterpie, realizing it was the same he'd pushed away. What a loss...

EDIT: wow i must have been slow there...so um....who got it?

Kon saw Kiki catch the Pinsir and give it to Ray. She gave Kiki a thumbs up sign and said "Good job, Kiki!" Kiiro jumped up on Kon's shoulder and gave Kiki a happy "Pika!" "Oh yeah, this is the newest addition to my team, Kiiro the Pikachu!"

gary nodded. "Yeah, nice job with it." He gave her a cocky smirk. "But...I could have done better. See? I already caught this guy!" He held out the ball with his Weedle in it. "It's even stronger than your Caterpie...it even attacked me. I had to fight it off with my life!" He nodded emphatically.

Gary huffed and looked at his hand which was still red and swollen. "We'll I'd like to see you endure a poison sting. Sandshrew gave Gary a wack in the head as if to tell him to watch out. Gary stopped and looked up at the Sandshrew. "Fine...you win." Gary gave anther huff and walkd ahead of the others.

Kon smirked at Gary "You? Bravely fending off a Weedle's Poison Sting? I gave you a pecha berry AND I made Weedle more sociable." she added with an arrogant air

Gary turned around frustrated. "I could ahve done it myself...I just didn't want to." He could hear Jason laughing. "What are you laughing at!?" "Sorry...but you just sound like such a brat right now." Gary glared at him as Gastly stuck his tongue out in a taunt. "Let's just get to Pewter...I'm getting sick of this forest." Sandshrew looked up at Gary sadly. "Shrew?" Gary looked down at him sadly. "I know..." The two continued onward.
