((Not at the moment, Eswin, unless you'd like to join as an ordinary padawan. We're in the middle of a plot, and it'd be difficult to incorporate yet another character into it.))

"Tarix," said Avenger, "can you maneuver us closer to their speeder, I need a clear shot." Avenger lifted his hand up and bunched his fist. Blue flames began to grow there again, and he prepared to launch them at the Raider's speeder.

"Maneuver? Heck, all we need to do to get closer is this" she pressed down on the breaks, dramatically slowing their pace. "Just get off a good shot t'first time, I dunno if I can outdistance 'em again."

When they finally got close enough, Avenger hurled the flames at the raiders, using the zoom function on his left eye to help his aim. Just as the projectile was about to hit the leader, it swerved off course and into a small jewel that hung off the windscreen. "It appears to be an ysalamiri crystal!" said Avenger, "it completely absorbs force powers. I'll have to get them myself!" He jumped over towards the speeding craft, and barely landed on the side.

"Y'didn't hear a word I said about the rifle in the back, did'ja?" asked Tarix, bringing the hovercraft in beside the raider's ship. "Just be careful- they'll be carryin' knives most likely, or blasters. Take out the controls, 'un jump back."

"That's exactly my plan." His lightsaber flashed out and smashed the controls. The engines faltered, then died. Avenger managed to jump off just as the speeder crashed into the ground. The Raiders got out angrily and fired a few shots at them, but they were already far out of range.

"Nice t'be a seein' that they teach 'advanced recklessness' in that temple o' yours" said the driver, and by the grin on her face one could tell she actually meant it. "Y'wouldn't know the Sith were warriors with t'way yer Havec plays the pacifist."

Raziel was sitting in his ship, looking over the information about the blockade ship, when he came across something strange, he read the information, "fools, who carried out that attack" he said as he read the information, "oh great that explains everything, i better go find havec" he said as he ran out of his ship and into the temple, on his way to find havec he saw riven still wandering, "oh god, i forgot about him" raziel said as he ran up to riven, "havec said to ask the droids for a room in authorization of the first sandstorm" raziel said to him as he ran off to find havec, he found her doing her morning rituals, "havec i hate to interrupt but we might have a problem" he said with a nervous smile on his face.

"I'd just finished, actually" she said, fastening down the last chain. She looked and sounded far more pleasant now that she'd had a chance to wake up, and it seemed almost impossible that she was the same person who'd answered the door with a glare a moment earlier. "What sort of problem?"

"well, it seems that the jackass's that carried out the attack, didn't destroy it, they fired EMP projectiles to knock out their communications, flight computer and droid army, and then they used ion cannons to disable the engines and let it crash, they sent men after it, the men appeared 3 weeks later with the minds of a freakin limabean" raziel said angrily, "oh and this is the best part, they blamed it on tusken raiders, do you know any tusken raiders that can reduce three humans minds to that of a limabean" he asked her, "honestly" he muttered.

"Well, actually I do, but that's beside the point since they're nowhere near that part of the galaxy- if the ship was never destroyed, there's a chance its army survived intact, and if anyone managed to break through the security measures put on them by their original creators and then tie them into a new power source, they could be resurrected" replied Havec, frowning. "It's not likely to happen, but I don't think we can take the chance."

Steelven stood queitly in his observatory, looking out into space, thinking. There's too much going on. Missions, outbreaks, etc. But the worst part is that Havec probably doesn't like me as much I like her now. And I can't even be a decent person to fall in love with! I'm a freak, a creep, and a cyborg that will never get someone to be with him. Sigh... He then noticed that he was starting to cry. He took off his face mask, and it revealed a perfectly normal face (the mask is just extra protection, not a vital mechanical part). Tears ran down his real face, but he quickly wiped them off. Wait. Who am I kidding? I'm not that horriffying! I've just been too harsh on myself. Besides, she's my best friend! But, let's back to other important matters. They're gonna need me soon. He put his mask back on, and then he headed off to see the others.

Havec saw the other Lord coming from down the hall, and moved to greet him. "I'm glad you're up- I hope you managed to find some time to rest a little?" she said, exiting her room to talk to him as he walked. "I sent Aven off to find us an expert on Clone Wars technology, but I was hoping you and I could take a look at the antique droid we've got here in the temple. It's the same make as those that we might be dealing with here, and if anyone could figure out how to activate it, it would be you."

"It would be my pleasure to activate the droid. It should be a snap, unless it hasn't stood the test of time." As almost anyone could expect, Steelven knew how to handle almost every kind of droid. Being half droid, it isn't to hard to figure stuff like that out. "So, what're we waiting for? Let's go see the droid." He was ready to follow Havec, but while he stood there he once again started to think. At last, I finally have no secrets to hide. I can speak with no double thoughts. I can finally look at Havec without getting nervous. Good thing I wear this mask all the time; if I didn't she would notice that I blush alot near her.

"I hope it's not all that easy- these old droids were encrypted, after all, and that encryption may be all that stands between us and an enemy who could have an army of droids on their side" said Havec, looking a little worried as she walked with him towards the record hall, where the antique was stored. "There's something I've been meaning to ask you, Steelven- how sensitive is your face mask to touch? I know most of your robotic parts are touch sensitive, but your mask is removable, isn't it?"

"Yes, my mask can come off. It's actually more of a protection then a part of me. You see, after getting much of my body fatally wounded, I don't really want my face to get damaged too. My face is currently in perfect condition......" He paused for a moment. "Do you... wish to see it? My real face?" Despite being on the same council for quite some time, Steelven had never revealed his face to her. Now's a good time as any, what having confessed my secret to her already.

Havec smiled, pausing in her walking. "I would love to" she said, staring into Steelven's eyes, the only part of his face clearly visible even with the mask on. I can't believe I've never asked something like this before she thought, I mean, I knew from the spare parts that his mask was removable…

He stopped walking, and put his hands on his face mask. He gently pulled it off, and it revealed his full face. His face was a light green, with a touch of peach. He looked so normal, almost like an ordinary person, only alien. He even had hair. It was brown, and it was sort of spiky near his bangs. The mask usually concealed his hair. His eyes still looked cat like, since they adjusted to brightness. "So, I take it you're shockingly horriffied?" He said with so much humor. He was only joking, but he slightly worried that it could be true.

The expression on Havec's face was unreadable- somewhere between contemplative, amazed and happy. She reached out with one hand, brushing it against his cheek. It hadn't been a conscious conclusion, but Havec hand always thought of her friend as a being who'd been transformed into a droid. To find him looking so alive…

When she brushed his cheek, his heart finally began to fill itself. She does care for me, and now she does even more. Why didn't I do this earlier? "Well, now you know I'm more alive than robotic. Suprised?" His cheek was still blushing from the spot where she had touched him. He saw the happiness in her face, and he then knew that she had finally seen the real Steelven, or should he dare say: Steveno.

((wow. i never thought my character would do these things... it makes the rp so much cooler and realistic! well, i have to go to bed, tomorrow i have my third-to-last day of school. hooray! i'll be sure to come on sometime afternoonish tomorrow so you don't get bored with no one to reply to. goodnite, Havec. ))

"A little" admitted Havec, "but I think I knew this… in a way." She felt blood rushing to her face, and was thankful that the markings and feathers on her cheeks hid the blush. "W-would you mind leaving it off for a little? Just until we get the droid out, maybe?"
