As you may have noticed, your post count might look a little different. Your posts are all still here, don't worry. However, I've installed a MOD to the Forums that allows for posts in certain forums to not be counted. These forums are:

Activities & Competitions
Testing & Advertising
Role Playing
Slateport Market
the mysterius lintaro's lair

That is all.

EDIT: For the record, the Record Loss seems to go to our own mod Gryphflame, who lost almost 1500 posts. Of course, the RP forum is her primary place of posting, so it was expected.

In short; whoopdeedoo, the number below your name is lower. Your posts are all still there, and you can continue posting in all those forums; it's just that the number won't go up when you do.

Yes, mine did half/halve/whatever. If you search for people's posts, though, you will see them all, even the ones in the forums that post count was disabled in.
I see. And I find it funny that even though Tluv and Bdude previously had higher post counts than me, no longer have the Professor rank, yet I still do. It's funny in its own little way.

can we have a separate posts count counter that just includes posts from the forums that dont count? Not that it would count towards our rank, but just so it shows how many posts we have actually posted...

Some of the newer guys will probably be wondering why their post counts arent going up when they post in those forums

uhh, i'm not wanting to get off topic, but wasn't Peanut-Lover a Cooltrainer? Why is he a Pokemon Proffesor with 1000 posts? and yes s S, that might change things with newbies onlook here and with numerous new threads about why their count isn't going up, but a second post count? what good would that be?

MegaHorn: Yeah I agree. Since those are the most frequented forums (except the Lair, but that doesn't need mentions), it does make an awful lot of sense.

That means all of you, including you Sinnoh Searcher...You don't need to whine about it. (Or were you being sarcastic?)
And if the newbies whine about it, that's their problem. They'll just have to deal with it.

I don't understand A&C though... whatever. I won't argue. Some people are already posting that they will leave because of their post count.

I was actually surprised about it for RPing. Roleplays let people express their dream chatacters and deserve an extra number to the one below your rank because the time and thought it took to write about 80% of all their post that are long.

Sometimes I think we should just get rid of these goddamn ranks and keep the uncreative "Administrator", "Moderator" and "Member", and then people wouldn't whine and complain about post counts.

Being a Pokémon Professor doesn't make you better than a Bug Catcher in any way. It just shows that you have posted more: people should definetly learn to prefer quality to quantity.

And you people's reasons for being disappointed about having your favorite forums' post counts disabled are nothing but LOL.

wow, some people's lives are controlled just by a number? well, if they are the kind of people that say the same stuff to everybody on here and on other sites, Psypoke's popularity will go down, as well as active members. sorry, but when things like this occur, i tend to look on the bad side of things.

I'm technically supposed to have over 1000 posts. With the board cleaning and deletion of the teams mine took a major drop. I only lost about 60 posts as I never posted in those parts of the forums anyways.

*Sigh* I tried so hard to change my rank. Been a cool trainer for the longest time. When I got to 200 I felt I was getting some where in the forms. So close to Master rank.

Well I guess I should try to restore some of my numbers. Must find more topics I can reply to... And I will not resort to spamming. This should now be 187 for me.
