Warning: This is my first time posting on Psypokes.
There is currently only one pokedex app, and it is in French.
The app has the categories, alphabetical, Number, and Type.
That is the organization system.
You tap the pokemon you are interested in, and it shows a picture of it, and plays it's call.
The picture is not the game sprites, but the pictures from the Pokedex books you get in real life.
In the upper right corner is the information about the pokemon. Tap it, and it says the information for that pokemon, the height, footprint, and the weight.
At the bottom is a selection for Evolution and the pokemon Details. the evolution has the baby pokemon, the base, and the next evolutions.
The details section has the names in other languages, the locations (Forest, Urban, etc) the male femal ratio, and the vulnerabilities. It also tells the experience needed to get to level 100 and the pokemon family.
It has a button to tap on the bottom that tells it's special ability.
I wonder if the Psydex could be converted for the Iphone/Itouch? I want the orignal sprites, the moves, all that is on this app, the shiny form, and the locations where you can find the pokemon, like on Psydex.
Does any other Iphone/Itouch user agree with me?

That's great idea. Me and my friends have been planning on creating an Iphone App for a while. We heard you can make 100 grand a month if it's popular, we could use this idea.
Actually, we'd probably get sued by Gamefreak and Nintendo.

I am wary of any application that profits off Nintendo and GameFreak's copyright on Pokemon without their permission, and I doubt it is worth the hassle seeking such permission in the first place. And if we aren't going to profit from this, there's no way we could cover the development costs, which are high enough as it is, of something that can be accessed via Safari anyway. Finally, given the download limit of iPhone Apps is 10MB, I think it would be a tight squeeze on what information we would be able to include.

Well my first thought was that we're probably gonna get sued. My second thought was that you can simply access the internet and then Psypoke itself, so developing an application isn't really worth the effort.
