So, is all this insanity due to the traffic you addressed on the main page? Because, for me at least, not only has the site been extremely slow, it's been sending me to all kinds of pages. For example: one was a Gamespy thing that said "system maintenance". Also On the forum index, I have been seeing NO little icons. Whether it be the pokemon in front of each of the titles, or the diamonds with the circles showing how active that thread is. This is craziness, lol (: Would it just be best to back off of Psypokes for a bit and let it calm down?

Thanks to a new game being out, we're getting hit with double our usual traffic. Now factor in the fact that there's a bunch of drama going on with some of the other Pokemon sites out there, and we're getting EVEN MORE traffic from visitors who would normally be going to a different site. Today the site still had about twice the normal traffic despite being offline for one third of the day, meaning traffic could have potentially been about triple what we're used to.

We've sent off a request to our tech support guys to see if they can tweak stuff for us and hopefully keep our site more stable in the coming days. The site is still alive and well, and we're still working on a bunch of stuff with Black and White, but the server is under a LOT more stress than we anticipated, and it can't quite keep up. It should hopefully be better tomorrow.
