which is better mew or mewtwo

I say Mew as well, bigger Movepool & more versatile what not...

Definitely Mewtwo. Compare with . See the difference? Mew's too cute and cuddly. Mewtwo's the mean, fighting machine that everyone wants to get in their R/B/Y/G/S/C/LG/FR/HG/SS games. Mewtwo may not learn all the moves in the whole Pokemon world, but still. Mewtwo can destroy Mew with its awesome speed.

Mewtwo is better battlewise IMO, but if it was about looks, it's a tie.

I have always been a bigger fan of Mewtwo than mew just purely for how it was portrayed in the movies. Mew does have a better move pool being able to learn anything and with its balanced stats that's truly an amazing thing, but I would still take Mewtwo. In my opinion the game doesn't do mewtwo justice if you compare to how it was introduced in the movie, but then again it was quite even with mew. None the less, from a logical standpoint Mew and everything it can learn and do is more effective than mewtwo even if it does have lower speed stats and what not, but from a fan standpoint you will never be able to beat #150

In all my games I've had both Mew and Mewtwo, and I've discovered while mew has a better movepool, my Mewtwo always has higher speed and spec attack, which would wipe Mew in an instant. I like Mew more, but Mewtwo is better.

Mewtwo is wayyy more powerful. He was created by using Mew BUT was created to be stronger than him. and it was successful! Didn't you watch the first movie >.> i mean, he was created to be stronger than ANY poke'mon. Plus he looks way better then Mew. Mew is too kiddyish/ girly imo. So yeah i go for my fav Poke'mon of all time. Mewtwo!

in the first movie, mew and mewtwo fight. it ends up being a draw. so mewtwo is not wayy more powerfull

Mew! Mew's the best Pokemon period. Cute, strong, kitten-based and can learn anything!

How can this question be asked? Movepool and other stuff makes Mew way better.

I like because it caused so many rumors to circulate back in the day. He was the one Pokemon that everyone had to have but no one could ever seem to obtain (without a Gameshark).

In the first movie they battle and it's a draw so making Mewtwo better than mew was a failure. I think if they battled it out, Mew would win. MEW FTW!!

In a battle i think mew would use its playful charm to decieve mewtwo and then ultimately destroy mewtwo. Just a theory ofcourse but it has merit to it.

Personally, I will always think Mewtwo is better. Despite Mew being able to learn all the moves in the game, it doesn't always matter about movepool when it comes to stats. Mewtwo is a speedy spec. atkr that isn't easy to take down.
Also because when I was a kid and saw the first movie I though Mewtwo was the biggest bad ever.

Personally, seems like a tool. While is the lovable bestfreind. Thats just MHO.

Mew has a certain element of mysteriousness that Mewtwo could not match. Mewtwo has an absurd level of power that no Pokemon can match. Between the two of them it is just about even, but Mewtwo would win in a fight, as their aren't many dark or bug moves that Mew can be taught to exploit its famed versatility with TMs. Essentially Pokemon was launched off of the hype created by the original legendary Pokemon: remember in grade school how Mew was the uncatchable prize that all your friends wanted, while Mewtwo was the beastly powerhouse that everyone had on their team? I truly wish I had discovered the game shark sooner, do you know how much more cool I would have been on the playground? Those were the days. The new digimon god Pokemon things can never compete with the original legends, 150 and 151.
