On the $1 bill, look on the front at the 1 on the top right corner. On the little swoop thingy on the left, look really closely. There's an owl/spider there.

No, there isn't. Consider the white area with the portait and the outer border a foreground, and the "webbing" around it a background. Look below the "y" in "Secretary of the Treasury" or the "e" in "Treasurer of the United States" just before the white edge. It's the same design as the one found in the upper-right portion of the bill between the 1 and the olive branch. Above the lower left and lower right 1's are the same pointed designs. The webbed illistration itself acts as a boarder to the center, and if we remove the foreground, we find that this "owl" is just a portion of a tesselated form.

I can read that just fine. I'm pretty sure that you're the one who's wrong on this one. But I think that you have to actually know the word that's been scrambled (duh).
