Well im back with my second rating thread. Since my last one was short, and Im still bored, I decided to do this. Rate every Tv show I ve ever watched. Why? Cause Im Bored, and want to see how much Tv I actually watch... Anyways, its time to start!!!
How It's Made
Station- Discover channel (Canada)
When- Tuesday
Length- 30 min
What it's about- Do I really have to say whats it about?? (Its how stuff is made.)
What I think of it- I actually like this show. I find it very fasenating how things are made. Of course some people may be bored by this, (no explosions, humor yada,yada yada). This show satifies my curiosity on some things (such as how hagas is made.....)
Rateing- Watch- Id say watch it at least once, you might learn somthing you didnt know about something we use everday.
Daily Planet
Station- Discovery Channel (Canada)
When- Monday to Friday
Length- 1hr
Whats it about- this show is about scientific and technolgical "news" series would be the best way to put it.
What I think of it- Again I enjoy this show since i am intererested in science and tech. I enjoyplay mindbender every tuesday (and seeing how not-smart I actually am), the alan nursal experiance also entertans. Weird planet always has something to to make you laugh (or scratch your head). Zia and Jay alos make this a good show.
Rating- watch- If your as interested as I am in science and tech, then yeah watch it. If not, maybe just watch it once in a while.
Man VS Wild (DO NOT ATTEMPT ANYTHING YOU SEE ON THIS SHOW!!)
Station- Discovery Channel (Canada)
When- Friday
Length-1 hr
What its about- A guy wit ha bagroun in the british military takes himself and a camera crew and shows people how to survive.
What I think- Sorry, but youre not no Lee Stroud (survivorman). Honestly, You arne't makin it all that "realistic". I can say more, but kids us ethis site too..
Rating- Skip it. This show is a poorly done copy of "Survivor Man", who by the way DIDN"T HAVE A CAMERA CREW TO FILM HIM!!!
Survivor Man ( DO NOT ATTEMPT ANYTHING YOU SEE ON THIS SHOW!)
OLN/(Discovery Channel had it origanily but not anymore) (canada)
When- Weekends on OLN
Length- 1hr
What its about- Lee stroud gets standed in remote areas around the world and shows you how to survive (He has to survive for 7 days).
What I think - Honeslty when I first saw thsi show I thought this guy was nuts. He gets dropped off by his camera crew and they leave him. HE shoots the whole show WHILE he attempts to survive. HE doess bring with him what one may have based on the scenario (hiker gets lost, hot air ballon goes down yada, yada, yada), so he's not totatlly helpless.
Rating- Watch it- Honestly this is WAY better than man vs wild. This show however only does reruns. Probably due to new rules or something...
Mythbusters
Station- Discovery Channel (Canada)
When- through out the week with new episodes on sunday night.
Length- 1 hr
What is about- Jamie hydeman and Adam Savage bust common and uncommon everyday myths to see if there is any truth to them.
What I think about it- One of my favorite shows. It combines science with science humor. I also like knowing if what we say is true (a rolling stone gathers no moss) and also think (making left ONLY left turns will save you gas).
Rating- Watch - ADAM AND JAMIE MAKE SCIENCE FUN!!!
Well thats a start, saty tuned for more!!!!

Mythbusters....
Why did you do Head Rush? I like the commercial-less Mythbusters, but Kari isn't that great a host.

Sounds like you're doing Discovery Channel shows only. Or Science Channel, but they're all scientific and Discovery-ish. I'm not saying that's bad. I'm just saying it's interesting that I'm not the only one who watches Discovery in their free time these days.

I'm just trying to fill up posts before I have to go. Great... I won't be able to check for weeks...
Anyway, my favorite was Survivor Man and Man vs. Wild. Both are cool.

Whats it about- A guy eating food from around the country (america). Also takes part in challenges (eatin so much in X amount of time)
What I think- WHOA. THATS A LOT OF FRIGGIN FOOD!!!
rating- watch- unless you are currently starveing(in which case you may want to skip it), this isd a good show to make yourself hungry.
CTV news

Whats it about- News....
What I think about it- I honestly only watch thsi for the weather...
Rating- skip- Honestly I dont find the news that interesting.

What it about- A bunch of hot girls fighting evil (??)
What I think about it- Honeslty I have No idea why I watched this when I was little...I didnt like the show (then why the heck did I watch it???????)

For weather, try the Weather Channel... Oh wait, sorry. That's the US.
Well, the news is good too. I only watch Korean news though...
But Sailor Moon used to be my favorite TV show when I was in 4th grade.

We do have a weather channel up here, i just find the weather from the news to be more reliable.

Head Rush is a special hour of Mythbusters that mixes in other stuff where commercials would normally be. The in-between part is hosted by Kari Byron.
