Well, funny thing. There's this mockingbird that lives around my house that doesn't ever seem to go to sleep. It sings all night. Every night. Every summer. I don't understand what it hopes to achieve or what biological advantage compels it to do this. What do birds sing about? Their territory? The size of their bird penes? None of the other birds care! They're asleep! It's just the one, singing for the crickets and for me and my family.
I wish it would just go away, or stop being so obnoxious, but gunshots don't scare it away or even silence it for very long... I don't care what Harper Lee says. 3 AM is no time for a bird to be singing, no matter how nice it would sound at noon. If I could only see it... _________________ Whoever wins... has to change into a yellow outfit, okay? |

I particularly hate Swallows. I'm just mowing my lawn peacefully, and then HOLY **** one just comes flying by my head. The fact that they are one of the fastest common birds around doesnt help, either.

Theres this one irritating robin that lives outside my house.
I offer it food and throw bread at it but it just SITS THERE. Staring. Deep into my soul with beady eyes. *shutter* _________________ I'm new. :3 Mewtwo OWNS! Consider yourselves lucky that you don't have ducks. The ones in Florida have black and white mottled feathers, and they have red growth on their beaks similar to turkeys. And they poop everywhere.
There's also a crapton of mockingbirds where I live, and a lot of birds that look like crows as well, but with glossier feathers. Once I went jogging and a mockingbird kept diving at my head for about five minutes. And last year, a woodpecker with a black and white body and red feathers on its head and belly kept coming to my house and pecking on one of the windows. I didn't mind much, though, because it looked so unusual and it did that in the early afternoon, so it gave me an excuse to stop doing my homework for a couple of minutes. Wildlife sucks...
