I`m not saying it`s hard to complete the dex,I`m saying that I don`t want to catch tons of unwanted pokemon...

You are missing the point...I don`t even wanna catch them...and you have to make some of them evolve to get the dex data (Slaking,Milotic etc...).

ok im not sure if this idea was posted but u should b able to catch everysingle pokemon from the national dex and to do so in the game u can travel 2 all the places (e.g johto,hoenn and kanto) battling each gym in each area defeating the elite 4 in every area and even becoming pokemon champion in each area

would probably take alot of programming to make it thourgh but would b real cool

oh and also i h8 the way they have the tickets annd all of that stuff from the nintendo events (mainlky cause i live in australia and they dont come donw here ='(

EDIT:all so i think if u catch a pokemon in say a master ball u should b able to buy another pokeball and like swap the pokemon around so the pokemon wouyld b in the normal pokeball and the masterball would b empty(then would b esiar to catch legendaries

also if like about 3 of ur party pokemon could follow and if they evolve the sprite following u evlolves 2...but if u have a larger pokemon say one of the lengendaries or (biggest in game) they carnt folow u and if the Pokemon exact same height as u only 1 or 2 can follow ,simple i think

More pokemon and more interesting places to go.

I wish in the future pokemon games:

a) 500 Pokemon
b) You can catch all 500 pokemon without trading or using gameshark
c) No nintendo event pokemon
d) All 500 pokemon appear in the wild several times
e) You choose your starter pokemon

a) 500 pokemon is way too much. they only add 151 each season.
b) That would be pointless, because then you would complete your pokedex in hours.
c) Also pretty pointless
d) Again, 00ber pointless
e) You dochoose your starter.

Hmm what would I like in future pkmn games?
Being able to change outfits and being able to have computered friends and they have secret hideouts which you can visit.

If future games are going to have EVs or something similar to that, I hope that there's a formula, such as type/level/evolution stage, to determine which pokemon help which stat.

I've always wondered why there isn't a beaver pokemon. It could be like an aquatic Raticate!! It would be great if you could actually catch'em all in a single game, but I'm saddly sure that would never happen

But what I want the most is more challenging battles. I've beated Yellow, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Ruby and Sapphire with almost no problem at all. I would like to see battles were more fair. I mean there was a rule about the number and type of pokes you can use in a trainer battle. It's so easy to win using Dragonite, Salamence and the like, but what if you're forced to use the SAME type and number of pokemon your opponent use?
A 2 on 2 bug pokemon battle would be a real challenge.

I would like they do something about moves like Teleport so they could be of any utility in battle.

And last, but no least... I want Contests back!!! My Sunflora needs to show how smart she is!!

If you want to be weird, you catch 6 magikarp go to the man in RBY that has 6 magikarp and you both battle, and there you have it, same types same number .

Beaver pokemon would actually be cool, the closet is a Psyduck XD.

Also an elephant pokemon, bigger than Phanpy/Donphan, a big pokemon tht has distinctive elephant looks.

Bugger the elephant: a mammoth with spiky "fur" is where it's at.

I want a legendary pkmn of each type that haven't got one. That is Bug, Ghost, Fighting, Normal, Dark and Poison. It wouldn't be too difficult make a Bug, Ghost or Dark I think.

And oh yes! We need an Ant (no, Trapinch doesn't count)

ONLINE GAMEPLAY
I think that would be awesome, trading with your friends on a host site, battles, tournaments, online communitys, clubs.... the possibilities are endless! Which is probably why it's never gonna happen, too much work, and I guess there would be alot of bugs to work out through the interent lagging, freezing, compatibility... but wow would it ever be cool. I bet pokemon would make a huge come back, imagine battling with people in japan? (go canada go!) there could even be chat while you battles so you could taunt your oponent hehe 8)

would be awesome, yet lots of problems and issues would arise, oh well, I care to dream

well i got a few things to say here.

1. you should be able to catch all of the pokemon in the pokedex in one game.

2.i think that in the future, it you mix records with another friend who beat the elite 4 instead of finding he/she in thier secret base you find him/her the champion instead of the regular champion.

3. a game where you can't just go anywhere you like. Have you noticed that you can just enter any1's room at any time however you please. i think that you have to knock and the people have to allow you in if you have a certain badge with you. because they give you like an important or useful item like rare or expensive doll. I dunno.( This applies for SOME NOT ALL houses. )

like from .HACK? we could play as anything we want and chat with people all over the globe, make new friends and have battles!!! but it would take YEARS to get everything right so u dont get viruses and u would have to buy a head set thingy. but it probilly wont happen for years so i'll keep dreaming(thats y i'm a RADICAL dreamer :roll: )

really i only have one thing that i might want to see ..AN ENDING..i mean when u become champ thats it,no shaking hands with the defeated champ

OK, this isnt really what you people are talking about, but I would like more use of the shoulder buttons (ie L + R)

how about when you fly u control how or where u fly with the cursor keys. you would be seeing the clouds and you could just float in the sky.

it would be cool to custimize ure trainer like how he looks and what he wears but not only that you can do it all the time just like u could change ure secret base and the way it looks and it should also be traidable like each version would have costumes or something that is only to its version unless traded and there should be a seperate box in the pc for it that be cool to have ure own wardrobe in pkmn.

I think that is a good idea and unlike other things, very possible for the future of gaming. I also think you should be able to choose a pokemon that can follow you around, like in yellow but with any pokemon. Pokemon ranger looks like you can use this option, however I've only seen plusles and minums.
