Since people think pokemon is for kiddies, I can't really imagining myself yelling stuff into a gameboy. Especially is public places. Nice idea though



Dark atmosphere's make me sad

A good thing to have in the game is for all trainers in the game to be re-challengable after beaten. Just walk up to them, talk, and challenge. And for the levels to be higher

Anyways, I don't really care whats in the new game, as long as they change the look of the new poke's. They look cheap and made up

I'd like to see Pokemon that have "Exclusive Attacks" (for the top level Pokemon only. As in, Metagross, etc.) It'd be a good change from having the same old boring "Metagross used Agility", "Metagross used Earthquake" "Metagross pwned the n00bz0r". But it'd need some way of restricting overusage. (A gauge that you must max out to use the attack, and once used, the gauge resets, perhaps?) Meh, it'd be a change, and make Pokemon a bit more unique in battle.

Also, we need better Ghost and Dark attacks. Shadow Ball and Crunch are only power level 80 moves. I'd like to see at least a power 95 move for both the types. (Though they do possess nice added effects.)

I might "update" this post a little later, but that's all I can really come up with right now.

For the sake of un-used pokemon:

No levels and no stats.

PURE STRATEGY. Seriously. Do you ever even see 250/386 of the pokemon being used? It's always the same old thing. Dragonite, metagross, legendary, etc.

It would be like uper cool if you could have attacks that are 2 types. Example: Muddy Water. That should be a ground/water move. i think a better storyline would be better. and all the previously mentioned

I would want all the pokemon from hoenn, jhoto, and kanto in the same version.

This is going to be quite long...

Being able to go into the pokemon breeding thing, because in RSE it has grass in it.
All of the stuff from all of the games COMBINED(:!:) and all the legondarys all together.
You can call anyone anywhere.
You CAN'T get evolved pokemon in the wild.
Fishing is easyer.
The legendarys that you find randomly across the world stay and fight if you've been good to your pokemon (happyness levels up) untill they're nearly dead.
Can run away from trainer battles.
Costom clothes and such.
Secret Baces that are big, AND don't have any big black holes in them.
Able to be anything (Pokemon master, breeder, gym leader etc) and the storyline to fit it.

I would like the job thing but mabye building your own house, making actual friends, mabye getting a girlfriend/boyfriend. a wife/ husband. mabye becoming a gym leader or elite 4 member. mabye they could have a option to join team magma/ aqua/ rocket/ etc. The clothes idea would be cool. mabye becomeing a hiker/blackbelt/ cooltrainer.

i wanna be able to cross breed pokemon and get new pokemon(not like jynx and electabuzz=smoochum)i mean like breed a mudkipp with torchic and get a whole new type

sumtin cool would be ...when you use fly you get to go into the sky and travel to the city like you would on ground and you can catch wild pkmn by going into the clouds that would be super sweeeet!

Sounds kind of like the Harvest Moon games, which I love. I'd like that, cool idea!

I would like to see wind in pokemon games.

You could look in a Pokenav (or whatever gadget you have) and see which direction the wind is blowing. Lets say, if you were walking against the wind, youd walk slower, and with the wind, faster.
It could affect the enviroment too, grass blowing over with the wind, waves in the ocean etc.
Also, in certain areas you could have it where the wind is too strong and you have to use an HM to get through.

hey des, that's a good idea. Mabye the wind could effect the battle. lighter pokemon could be swept away and such. cool thinking.

I just want to be able to get to Johto again. I was gutted to learn you can't get to it outside of Silver/Gold/Crystal. I don't care about Kanto so much, it was Johto that I fell in love with, although being able to get to all three regions would be excellent, even if it was just to go and get all the gym badges, like in Silver.

I'd love to see Gold/Silver remade for the Advanced generation. Of course, I hope they'd treat it as well as they did Red and Blue- keep the Pokemon availabilities and ratios in tact, retain the Pokegear and day and night- only this time, work it out so the battery won't fail
I'm really quite sad at how the second generation has been treated- I know you can get about 20 Johto Pokemon on the Sevii islands, but what of the rest?


I would like to see a *few* more baby Pokemon. Not too many, though. I'd love to see a little Zangoose and Seviper and I really hope they do it. Those two would be really cute!

Also, more fire types. The best fire types are from Kanto and Johto- there are SIX in Hoenn and thats it.
I'm very fond of fire types, so I was sad to learn this.

Hmm.. I think maybe more Pokemon that evolve into more than one thing in an interesting way. Like Clamperl, Wurmple, Eevee etc.
I was really excited when my Wurmple was evolving- it was like 'ooh, will I end up with a Dustox or a Beautifly?'. For the record, I got a Dustox.
I don't really like the Pokemon you have to trade to evolve (only cus I never have a trading partner!) but ones where the player on their own can affect evolution, like Eevee- that I like. It's interesting!

I do like the idea of Pokemon fusions- where you could have a whole new Pokemon by breeding two together to end up with things like Pikamander or Beautivoir, but really, theres no realistic way to do this.

Say you take one Pokemon, ie Pikachu and you blend it with some basic Pokemon to get things like Pikasaur, Pikamander, Squirchu, Caterchu.. You're talking a HECKOVA lot of Pokemon here. And thats just when you combine one with all of them. To be able to blend ANY Pokemon with any OTHER Pokemon to make a brand new fusion.. we're talking *thousands* of possible combination Pokemon here! That's the sad reality. I'd like to see Pokefusions too, but theres no way they could do it

One more thing- more Eevolutions! Like a grass type, a flying type, a steel type. Not too many, though. Only, say, three or five more. Just so you could take a very well rounded all- Eeveelution team to battle. That, and I really like Eevee!

Desgardes- the idea of wind or weather in general is really nice. I like the idea of the wind affecting your journey. And Comedianmasta- the image of light, little Pokemon being swept away is so cute!

I just want there to be real better graphics on the GBA and DS systems. Not just them walking around. Also, poke'mon in your party having babies.

i posted a thread like this, not knowing there was already one just like it. anyways, i agree that the weather idea would be pretty cool. maybe even add rain to the mix. anyways, i tried to come up with a few new ideas, but im sure someone already posted most of them (i just didnt wanna read through 18 pages of posts :roll:).

i also like the idea of building your own house and having relationships and such. maybe your character and pokemon could even begin to age over time?

maybe there could could be stores where you could buy things like food, clothes, new hairstyles (barber shop/salon), pokemon food, furniture and other household things. itd be like a fusion of the sims and pokemon! if that would even be a winning combination.

well, heres some stuff i came up with:
1. all regions (including the sevii islands and the orange islands)
2. combine pokenav and pokegear (i cant think of a good name for it)
3. able to catch all pokemon & legendaries
4. more than one save file
5. customizable characters
6. secret bases
7. contests
8. able to catch starters from all regions
9. trainer needs (hunger, sleep, and all that fun stuff)
10. character converses with other people

i think im pretty much just taking everyone elses' ideas and more or less just repeating them, but im sure i put a few news one up.

Anyway, is it even possible to make a game of this size for ds or sp?

I would go for the ultimate gameing exp. Absoluty everything would be changed! (I wouldn't care if they had to make the game for the nintendo Wii or something bigger!) This would be top of the line! (I might use some ideas from other people becase, ya, 18 pg. is alot.


Let's start with simple organizing things-

1. They already made the wifi trading and battling, witch they did a good job i will admit. The could do much better with a different gameing system. They could put a chatting preferance in with a menu of all the friends you've made and put a "NavMail" (e-mail) box in the Poke'nav to send and recive navmail from your friends.

2. Edit the Poke'dex a little. This is not much to ask, if you've previously owned a pokemon and do not have that pokemon anymore, it should be a gray pokeball insted of a red one so you can tell if you need to go and get one again. This would not efect your "cought" pokemon in any way. Example: evolves to then . The Poke'dex would say you no longer have a or but your Poke'dex would still say you've cought 3 pokemon so far. (Still with me?)

3. Visible local time and date in corner of screan. Simplest one here.

4. Be able to put notes on each pokemon, adding a new bullet with each note (available from handheld in start menu) Example: Your was a gift from your Grandpa who passed away, so you type a note that says "NEVER TRADE" or something like that. It would kinda look like this-

ABSOL
*Never trade
*Good friends with Blaziken

-and so on. Simple, isn't it?

5. Next is a family tree for each pokemon. We all know what those are right? Well there would be pages for each mate the pokemon has had. On each page there would be the mate, childeren, grandchildren and so on. Then when you select a pokemon on the tree you can see The day and time born ("hatched"), where it is now, how old it is, is it dead or alive(asuming that a pokemon can die from old age) and is it happy on a scale from one to ten. (this game will have a entire computer of info won't it?)

6. Next is item location. There would be search box and you would select the letter it starts with and what part of your bag it would be in. Then it would come up with all available items to chose, then slect the one you want and it will tell you if you have one, how many, where it is and what it dose. (Organize, organize, organize!)

7. Here's another one for the Poke'dex, have a data base that shows the stats of all your pokemon in the pokedex so you don't have to go to your pc. Simple enough, right?

8. Verry simple one here- Add the Poke'dex, NavMail, Ribbons, Poke'block charts, radio, GPS type thing, Trainer's Eyes, ACTUAL local time and date (hh/mm/ss mm/dd/yy), pokemon notes, pokemon family trees, item locator, options, save, and trainercard all in one.

Ok, I'm starting to get bored.

9. Be able to use more than four moves. There are other things i want to add but it would be too long.

10. Make the enviornment more up-to-scale. I'm tired of walking up to a building that is 2 people tall and 3 pople wide.

11. Feeding yourself and the pokemon would be cool and being able to do something els with your secret bace would be nice like turni it into a shop or nusery.

12. Earn pokemon's respect and happieness.

13. Pokemon talk to you.

14. You need to set-up camp or sleep in a Pokemon Center or your base

15. Customise your charicter at the beginning.

16. Your lead pokemon should follow you everywhere.

17. Make the story line much longer and go through Kanto, Joto, Hoen, at least 2 more regions, and any ones I might have missed.

18. Keep all contests and conpettitions.

19. It should be open-ended.

20. You should be able to fly to ANNY exact location, not only Pokemon Centers.

I'll tell you if i can think of anything else.
