How do you put like banners or avatars on your acc

In your profile, there's a box that's titled 'Signature Control Panel'. You'd have to make and host your own banner, or go to Slateport and request one. You'll get a code-you copy and paste that in your Signature box (or 'Sig' as we usually call it). Note that the preview won't show the code right away; you have to push the 'submit' button first.
Now for your ava, go down to the bottom of your profile page, and there sould be a section entitled 'Avatar Control Panel'. Here's how you get an avatar:
1. Click on the button that says 'Show Gallery'. A new pag will come up and you can choose it from there.
2. Make your own, and then push on the 'Choose file' button. You can upload it from your machine as long as it's only 70x70 pixels.
3. Ask for one in Slateport. They'll make it, but you have to drag the image to your desktop and follow step two from there.

Don't forget to push the 'submit' button then.
