Ouchies, I didn't look at the weaknesses. Well, since marowak's only weak to grass and water, which aren't physical attack, I think that would be the one.

EDIT: When I said up to 6-8 levels, I meant using swagger constantly.

Actually, Water, Grass and Ice, but you have the right idea.

Once again, T-Tar suffers from a 4x weakness to two common types; Ground (EQ) and Fighting (Brick Break).

Anything on Steelix, sn0w?

T-Tar is Rock/Dark so only Fighting is 4x effective. Though Steel, Water, Grass and Ground are also 2x effective.

I keep on thinking only rock is week to ice, because of all the ground/rock mixes, but anyway, I'll get back not at 2:00 AM.

ALso, this is in my team:

{hypno}@Lefties
Calm/252 Defense, 252 Special Attack, 6 HP (I think that's it.)
~Swagger
~Light Screen
~Counter
~Psychic

He get's killed by shadow ball, though.Swagger, light screen so they're forced to do a physical attack, and counter.

I'm in to swag counterers, aren't I?

About time I responded. Here's my "creative" Mewtwo:

Thunder Wave/Will-o-whisp/Hypnosis
Psychic
Helping Hand/Mimic
Future Sight

I'd use this in a double battle. Basically, put your foe to sleep (or Paralyz or Burn) Use Future Sight. Hit it with a Psychic, use Helping Hand on your ally, Future Sight hits it and if it hasn't fainted then your powered up ally can do some damage !

I like this and I've made it up off the top of my head. (P.S. I'm not sure whether Mewtwo can learn Helping Hand or Will-O-Whisp but it's still a good idea).

You could try {gengar}. It can learn Hypnosis (natural), Will-o-wisp (egg from Misdreavus), Mimic (move tutor FRLG), and Psychic (from TM29). That covers everything except Future sight, which i'm afraid you'll have to change for something else.

AND WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY MOVESETS???

The only problem is that they are too common. We're looking for movesets with a bit of a twist.

{wailord} @ Leftovers
Toxic
Rest/Whirlpool
Curse
Amnesia

Ah, one of my fav Pokes :D This moveset uses Wailord as a toxi-tank, nuff' said. Wailord has amazing Hp, and thus Leftovers will heal more Hp for Wailord than other toxi-tanks. Rest should be the first choice move for the second slot, but if one's feeling adventurous and feel that Leftovers can sustain Wailord's Hp, then Whirlpool can be used to trap the foe. What do you guys think?

here is another moveset:

{smeargle} @ leftovers

Impish/Own Tempo

Mimic-Imprison-Rest-Counter

Strategy: First, Mimic. Then Imprison. Then Rest. Then Counter. Repeat Strategy on all pokemon.

Your moveset is good, but I'm so sorry - We don't really consider any Smeagle sets as creative because, well, they can learn ANY move.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you our newest Creative Set Tester: WATER POKEMON MASTER!! Everyone PM him a pat on the back, and WPM, welcome to the team.

EDIT: Now that we have an additional tester, we need to compile a list of Pokemon to be tested . . . I'll get right on that . . .

Can I make a suggestion to snowball's wailord?

I think it needs some extra firepower to take advantage of curse, i.e. EQ/Resturn/HP Fight

EDIT: Perhaps over rest, but all the moves are really needed, I'll see to it as is.

EDITII:

Test List
Snow's Wailord
Venu's Steelix
My Marowak
Venu's Likitung
SS's Dodrio
Paper's Scizor

Welcome WPM. Glad to have you around.

snow, that Wailord is great, excluding Poison or Steel types. I think Whirpool works better, or if you're looking for a bit more punch, you could try Chesto-Rest and Water Spout.

I need to do some more testing, but most of them got killed off with an ice beam/t-bolt before it got to charge all the way up.

You can also try tweaking the movesets around a bit and tell us which work best. You don't have to try out the exact movesets that are given.

[color=skyblue]I had a Scizor a few pages back I would like to have tested. Let's see if I can remember what it was . . .

Scizor @ Leichi
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
~Substitute
~HP Bug
~Steel Wing
~Reversal

Sub enough to activate Leichi and Swarm, then Physical Sweep. Since all Scizors are BPers, I thought this might be fun to try.[/color[]

Can movestes be suggested for pokemon that are already in the hall of fame? If yes...

{dusclops}

Toxic/ W-o-W/ Curse

Shadow Ball

Pursuit

Future Sight

Dusclops makes one very nice tank, I hear. His Def and Sp. Def are both 130 based.

{dragonite}

Rain Dance

Surf

Thunder

Iron Tail

Rain Dance pulls up Thunder's accuracy and Surf's power. Just blast away. Iron Tail is super effective against irritating ice pokemon and will not be negated by RD. In case of Psyduck/ Golduck/ Rayquaza, just use Thunder on them and pray it hits.

here is one for {golem} :

Golem {golem} @ Focus Band

Explosion
Rest
Double Edge (with Rock head)/Earthquake
Rock Slide

Basically, Explode, and if your lucky, Focus Band will endure the hit. Rest, then Sweep with Earthquake/Rock Slide. If you encounter another tough pokemon, Redo the whole process with Explosion. Simple!!

I've given that moveset to...

Image

Seeing as it can learn any move.

EDIT: Anyway here's one for Hypno, it might not be that good but...

Image

Psychic
Future Sight
Hypnosis
Dream Eater

Or here's another one for...

Image

Zap Cannon
Recover
Psybeam
Tri Attack.

Tell me what you think. I can understand if they aren't "exotic" enough.

Uh... If you all (including the rating team) don't mind i'm going to comment on it even though i'm not on the rating team.

{golem}'s moveset shouldn't work because Focus Band cannot prevent the self-sacrifice of Explosion. (I think. I'm not sure.)

{hypno}'s moveset is quite common and i don't think it will be accepted because the Hypnosis/ Dream Eater combo is already widely known and the others are just quite ordinary.

{porygon} 2's moveset is ok, but i don't think it will be accepted either due to the fact that it is also not that "creative". Just take a look at the ones in the CM Hall of Fame and you'll see what I mean.

All these movesets are not creative enough I'm afraid. Sorry about that.

Good enough, but which Pokemon needs both Bulk Up and Calm Mind?

We can test this if papersun and WPM is fine with it.

A mixed Sweeper may need both Bulk Up and Calm Mind.

Right then. Sorry I haven't posted this, but netbattle hasn't liked me much.

Wailord~It's most certainly good, and leftovers helped, but it got toxic'd before it could get charged, and then it went downhill. It would be genius in-game, though.

Steelix~Accidently skipped this one, I'll edit this in later

Marowak~Got killed by surf before charge. Nuff said. Always will get killed by surf or razer leaf before charge.

Likitung~Me like, it worked quite well.

Dodrio~It was good, but it got killed by anything with T-Bolt, it didn't have enough defenses. Looked good on paper. Works In-Game. xD

Scizor~Very Nice. Swarm+Leichi+STAB=Good.

EDIT: I may use the scizor on my in-game team, minus sub for swords dance. It was good.

What about this for a Shedinja:

{shedinja} @ Focus Band
Nature: Speed up... anything / Ability: Wonder guard
EV's 255 Speed... anything else
Moves:
Grudge
Protect
Endure
Toxic

Pray that you don't die when you use Grudge and Toxic.
