It's a cute little fire mouse-thingy. Plus, in (lol) PMD, it got me out of a lot of tight spots. / don't shoot me for this vote because I dislike Piplup. I don't see why it's so well-liked (seriously, um... it's a penguin. yay?), and I lol at Empoleon.

Okay, so I'm mostly judging based on what they grow into, which is:
Typhlosion=Awesomeness/Venusaur=Great stats, movepool that makes those great stats useless.
