I looked at Sevear. "Where are you going to walk. We are in enemy territory. You shouldn't be alone. You can go for a walk later. But not now, when five people were killed." I leaned near him. "I don't trust them either, but if anything happens, Xel will tell us." I said, then walked back to the man with the wound. I offered my services to him again.

Normally, Kasoti would have refused, but the infection started making his back feel like it was dipped in boiling water. "Go ahead." said Kasoti. He could tell that not many of the group trusted the Pantrizers.
Perhaps it was a mistake leading them here... thought Kasoti.

Thrin stared at the man who said he was about to go for a walk. No dought the Pantrizers would stop him from leaving if he tried to.

Yotoshi brought them towards a gold and red door, he unlocked it and led them inside.
At the back of the room, Printhos was reading that Imperial book. He qu8ckly noticed Yotoshi and the others, and stood up.
"Yotoshi, who are these?"
"They're that group I mentionned earlier, you know, from the tavern. I saw them coming up towards the entrance."
"Ah, very well. Please, take at seat!" He pointed towards a red couch.
Yotoshi walked towards the wall, he leaned his shoulder on the wall, listening to Printhos.

"Captains take that man inside now" Ben commanded and his two captains slipped into the building.

Ben heard several men coming but Xel took care of them. Ben, however went after Eclipse hoping she cased the area. After leaving the group he came upon three imperials leaving a bar, they noticed his armor and moved to stand in front of him.

"What is an old man in such fine armor doing out here at this time?" one asked

"I think we should take him in" the second offered

Ben looked from face to face but understood he could do nothing to harm them. Instead he stood straight and addressed them.

"Gentlemen, it would be unwise to casue me any harm. Your empire may be powerful but I do not think even your emperor is foolish enough to engage the Consortium."

He paused allowing dawning comprehension to enter the trios thoughts

"My organization will not take kindly to an attack on one of their generals so move along or I will be forced to protect myself."

The trio moved back and soon were out of sight. Eclipse then sidled up to Ben and he turned to acknowledge her.

"I have accelerated our plans, it is only a matter of time before the emperor learns that the Consortium has entered Hailon."

The party was thrown and everyone was celebrating. It reminded Pan of the story of the haunted room from the Gates of Tacid. A party was thrown for an emperor, to which a massacre ensued. The emperor had been paranoid and had the guards kill all the guests, for he knew that night an attempt would be on his life. Not tonight though.

The chandeliers were lit, pigs roasted, women dancing, men joking, children playing. Not a sight you would normally see a ruthless emperor to be a part of. But Pan was no regular emperor. Deceit is a powerful tool. Win over your future victims. Let them grovel at your feet. It will all pay off in the end. A crooked smile graced Pan's lips.

After the ball, Pan met with his Generals in his war room again, to discuss their next move. "The battle at the valley was successful. Our next target will be their very palace. Their King should be there, awaiting our arrival to negotiate a peace offering. However, negotiation is for the weak to avoid justice. He has attempted to mock our rule with resistance, we will mock his peace offering in return."

Suddenly, a messenger entered the war room. "My liege!" He bowed before him and handed him a parcel. Pan broke the seal and read.

Several soldiers have gone missing from the resting point upon marching through Hailon's borders. Their bodies have yet to be found. From the fact that there was no trace, we assume the Pantrizers might be a part of this incident. We have attempted to find the bodies and have yet to find a single item from their belongings. Our Emperor will be kept informed of any new information reguarding this situation.

We may have just found our link to those elusive maggots. He tipped the messenger, who was astonished at Pan's courtesy. He smiled and bowed again before taking his leave. Pan immediately burned the parcel in the lanturn fire in the room. "Ready the troops for an assault against the King of Hailon!"

I moved his shirt up, and looked at the wound. "It is starting to get infected, but I'll take care of that." I said, and Kinar sat by me. She kept an eye on the Weaviles while I searched through her packs. I pulled out a bottle with liquid, and popped the lid. "Now, this will sting, so be prepared.: I pored a little on the wound, and used a bit of cloth from my pocket to clean it out. I then talked to him once more. "Would you like me to stitch it up, or have it heal on it's own?" Other than the stitches, the process of fixing and cleaning the wound had taken about five minutes, a very fast timing. I smiled to myself.

"Ill go without them, get ready for the third exam"

"I'll let it heal by itself, thanks." said Kasoti. Shadow and Darkness rejoined him. Kasoti pulled out to juicy apples from his pocket and handed them to Shadow and Darkness. The two Weavile hapilly began munching on the apples.

"Things have gone awry I see," said Aseren as he began reading the Pantrizer leader's thoughts. "I am impressed by the shear number of kingdoms you have brought into your organization. But what I am about to tell you, you most likely will not agree with." He was serious now, though his partially drunken condition did slur his speech slightly.

"I need all your men to attack Pan's stronghold in his metropolis, as soon as possible and without hesitation." He let that bit of mess sink into the man's head.

"Hmph," mumbled Sevear, still sitting in the chair.

"When exactly do we plan on doing anything?"

Thrin was sitting one the edge of the chair, at the mention of war his pulse immedietly sped up. He thought "Oh boy, another war to be entwined in, I hope that I can survive this one too."

"Alright." I answered, then lowered the man's shirt. I then got a treat from my pocket and gave it to my two pokemon. I turned to Kasoti. "We had better get moving before anyone shows up." I looked around. "Where did everyone else go?"

"They're probably at Preinthos's quarters right now. Speaking of which, I should be there right now." said Kasoti. He walked down a hallway and openned the door. He stood next to Yotoshi. "Sorry I'm late." said Kasoti.

I followed the man in. I looked around, and stood by the wall, where my two pokemon joined me.

Printhos turned his heac towards "Xel".
"I am certainly not doing that! We are far from being ready for battle with so few members and skill. We'd get slaughtered before we could even touch them!" Yotoshi perked up.
"What he says is true, if we were to bgo into battle now we'd surely lose."

Sevear walked into the room.

"You've got enough. Pan can't read everyones mind at once. And you're forgetting, we've got our very own... 'Seer'."

Ben had returned just as Aseren breached the subject about an army. He walked up beside Aseren and spoke.

"I command a legion of ten thousand troops under the banner of the Consortium, if you have the need and I, the approval I could mobilize them within two weeks."

Aseren smiled at Ben's comment, then returned to his conversation with the leader.

"Obviously you do not understand the predicament you are truely in. Here is what I mean, with Pan becoming more and more powerful with each kingdom under his belt, when will you be ready for battle? Hmmm?" He adjusted how he sat, then continued.

"The battle is just a distraction. Pan IS the Empire. He is what the people look to for answers. He provides them with the confidence, courage, and mindset for world domination. He has no plans for immortality. He has plans for leadership immortality. If I know him well enough in the small time I had peered into his mind, he plans to make offspring once his reign is completed. Sons to inherit the world. If you think one Emperor is bad now, wait until he has 12 sons, all under his influence. We must crush him now, at whatever the cost, and his army's mentality and ambition will be crushed as well."

But what would distract Pan from his hunt for Aseren Sedge? What!? Wait... that's it! "I'm sorry for taking my leave so early in the meeting but I must converse with Hiroki alone." He grabbed Hiroki and quickly pulled her out of the room. He poked his head back in and added,"Just her, please feel free to continue negotiations with these fine gentlemen here." He gave yet another of his innumerous weak smiles before his head ducked out.

He dragged Hiroki to an empty room. She was quite ticked at him for his rash and obscene manner of escorting her, especially without her permission. But this was important.

"I think we should assult them. I dought Pan has finished off the King yet. If we can destroy him before he can fully take the kingdom, Hailon will not vanish like all the other kingdoms under Pan's control." said Kasoti.

"Yes?!" I asked, very ticked that he had grabbed me out for no reason. "What do you want? What do you have planned to keep Pan at bay?" I asked, then looked at his face.

Their conversation went on. "Good, you still have it. Pan will not hesitate to obtain it. Keep its whereabouts secret however. Of course you are no fool." He gave her a warm smile. "And I apologize for my rudeness." He offered his hand for her to take. She grew out her hair. She looks good with it that way.

I took his hand. "Fine, I'll do it. But it isn't a good idea. It seems to like me." I smiled, joking. "However, it only seems to glow brightly when I am touching it. I think, that if it was 'conscious', it wouldn't do anything for Pan anyways." I walked back to the room, and rummaged through Kinar's bags. I took out a pack, and showed Aseren. "Happy?" I said, then added. "But only I will hold it."
