Kon started walking, but she wasn't paying any attention to Gary. She was trying to balance Kyouko on her head, which took total concentration. But then her foot hit a rock and both trainer and Pokemon fell flat on their faces. Kon groaned and quickly jumped up, then picked up Kyouko "I'm sorry, Kyouko-chan!" Kyouko rubbed her head, and said "Charmander Char."

Gary took his map out. "Well...according to this map...yep!" They walked further in and walked into the pokemon center. "We should rest here for a while so we'll be ready to battle the gym leader!"

I followed Gary in, and held Hitoshi the whole time, while he slept soundly.

While the others were sleeping inside the pokemon center..jason walked out and sat on top of a boulder...watching the full moon..thinking ot himself

Kon and Kyouko recovered from their fall and were now in the Pokemon Center "Wow, it's so big..." Kon said, and they both started poking around the center "Can I help you?" said a feminine voice. Kon and Kyouko both jumped and turned around to see a young woman with pink hair in a pink nurses' outfit "N-no, we were just looking around. We've never been to a Pokemon Center before." Kon said, indicating herself and Kyouko. The nurse smiled "Ah, I see. I'm Nurse Joy."

I walked up to the nurse. "Hullo nurse, Chansey." I acknowledged the pokemon next to Nurse Joy. "Has my father been through here yet?" I asked. Nurse Joy frowned, shaking her head. "No, not yet. But he should be here tomorrow." I sighed.

((Can I come in now as a guy staying the night at the Pokemanz center?))

Gary rested at the center while they prepared for the gym leader. "does anyone know anything about this guy? I'd never even heard of him before." Jimmy looked out the window to see the sun sinking below the horizon, giving the sky a purple tint. Ya know, this little guy isn't so bad afterall. He rolled his pokeball around in his hand.

((Fine, but you would have to have pokemon from this area. i made a list of them earlier))

Kon looked at Gary and said "I heard he's really strong. I doubt we could challenge him now...." she nodded her head wisely and Kyouko mimicked.

Sandshrew walked over to Kyouko and looked at her inquisitively. "Shrew?"

"Yeah...we should probably catch and train some more pokemon first. At least get a small party." Gary looked back at her. "Sorry about earlier, its pretty rough working for Gramps all the time with no break. He gave her a some-what friendly smile. "It at least looks like our pokemon are getting along."

Kon gave him a smirk "Now you're being almost nice?" she asked Gary. "Oh well. I was thinking of catchin' a Pikachu sometime, I remember them being in the Viridian Forest..." Kon thought for a moment and then added "It would be best to get a varied team, so then the Pokemon will cover each other's weaknesses, I learned that doing the Battle Sims."

Jason walked back into the pokemon center and turned to gary

"i think we shoudl get goin to the forest soon..theres a pkemon there i want..its rare but i want to catch it..a ghastly"

"Battle Sims? I used to use them against Gramps. That's how I learned about weaknesses. I'm trying for a poison-type personally." Gary gave a confident pose. "But we should head out before it gets too late." He stood up and made his way to the door; Sandshrew close behind him. He then turned to Jason. "i've heard rumors about Gastly going around there, not sure if they're true though. We should give it a look."

jaosn knodded and foloowed gary out the door

"i heard about them too..hopfully ill see it..and catch it"

jason looekd back at the others

"cmon lets go..we dotn wanna be there at night time"

Gary laughed. "But if you're gonna catch a Gastly...we'll HAVE to be there at night. Besides, I'm hoping to find a strong pokemon while we're there." The four made their way to the gate of Viridian Forest. "Well, here it is...who's first?"

"i'll go"

Jason walked into the forest

"wow..its big..."

as he spoke somethign moved in a bush to the right fo everyone

"looks somethings moving in that bush"

The group looked at the bush alarmed. "Is it...?" As the group stared cautiously, a Caterpie stumbled out. It tilted its head at them and wimpered inquisitively. "it was...jsut a worm...." Gary had a dumbfounded look on his. "Let's keep moving..." Caterpie....what a pathetic pokemon. It's not even very good once it evolves.

Jaosn laughed at the carterpie

"oh well...lets keep moving"

They passed a hgue tree

"hol..,look up that tree..i think thats a weedle"

Gary looked up at it, intruiged. "Hmm...that might actually be a bit helpful." Gary took out a pokeball and threw it at the Weedle. It fell from the tree and rolled around for a short time before the Weedle jumped back out and crawled away. "But...what'd I do wrong?"

jaosn turned to gary

"before you catch a pokemon you wanna fight it and weaken it..so it doenst have any strength to break free..so use your sandshrew to attack the weedle ot weaken it..then use the pokeball"

Gary looked down. You could have at least told me that, Gramps... "Well now I need to go and find another." Gary huffed and walked ahead, with an upset look on his face.

The sun started to set as we followe gary and his pursuit of a weedle

Jason whispered to Gary
"thers a weedle rihgt there...to the right of that bush....sneak up on it"

Gary snuck up behind it and whispered to Sandshrew. "Okay..I'm not too sure what you know but...ummm...you can dig righth?" Sandshrew looked up at him confused for a moment and shook its head. "Okay..um...poison sting?" Sandshrew turned to the Weedle and stuck its arm out as if to shoot something, then turned back togary and shook its head again. "Ugh...what DO you have?" Sandshrew walked up to the Weedle. Just as it was noticed, Sandshrew scratched it across the face and Weedled curled into a tight ball as if were crying. "Weeee..." it wimpered some and Gary could hear Jason urging him to use the ball. "Oh..ummm...here!" He threw it at the small bug nd it rolled for a second or two before calming down. "I got it!"

"I'll go in first!" said Kon enthusiastically. She ran in with Kyouko and pulled out a blue sweet potato-shaped instrument "This is an ocarina," she told them, "Whenever I play this, a lot of Pokemon always like to come up to me." to demonstrate, she put it to her lips and started to play an upbeat song, and soon a small group of Pokemon started to gather around her. There were a few Weedle and Caterpie, but there was one Pokemon that she wanted. A small Pikachu wandered up to Kon and looked at her with expectant eyes "You like my song?" she asked the Pikachu. The Pikachu and the other Pokemon jumped and almost ran away, but Kon played on the ocarina again, and the Pokemon stayed. Kon changed the tune to a soft, lullaby-like song, and soon the Pokemon fell asleep. Kon took her chance and tossed a Pokeball at the Pikachu. The Pokeball shook three times, and then stopped. Kon grinned triumphantly and picked up the Pokeball "Oh yeah, I gots mad skillz!" she said. She then noticed that the song had put Kyouko to sleep as well "Heheh, oops?" Kon picked up the sleeping Charmander and said "Hey, at least I got a Pokemon"

(Kon gots the mad skillz with the ocarina but that's about all she can do with it. Lure in Pokemon and then put them into a small sleep )

jason looked at the pokeball

"nice one gary...now its dark..time for me to find that ghaslty ..everone made camp at this big treee..near where gary caught weedle..gary stood awake on high alert for any signs"

Jason heard a deep laugh form behind a bush

He walked over and something jumped at him causing jason to fall back


"ouch..waht the..oh my god..its ghastly..so the rumnrs are true"

The ghaslty floated abtu 3 feet infront of him sticking its tongue at him teasing him for falling

Ghaslty twirled around jason ghaslty knudged his shoulder

"so you're a playful ghost huh..hmm lets see...i wanna see how good you are what you think about that"

Ghastly knodded and stuck its tongue out as a taunt

"GO SQUIRTLE"

Squirtle jumped out of the pokeball and stood infrotn of ghastly

"squir-squirtle"


"ALright squirtle lets do this."

Ghalsty then appeared behind squirlte..nbut jsut before it could lick him..squirlte quickly jumped back

"quickly bubble"

Squirlte shot buubles out and hit ghastly sneding him back a few feet..gahslty made an angry look and tried to lick squirtle..almost licking him...squirlte ducked and jumped in the air and used anothe rbubble kncoing ghastly to the ground"


jason threw a pokeball and hit ghastly..the ball shook 3 tiems and he was captured

"yes hes mine"


He then made squirtle return but rihgt before he put the okeball in his pack..ghaslty broke out

"what the..hey what are you doing"

Ghastly levitated around Jason..refusign to go back

"well i guess you wanna hang with me then huh?"

Ghaslty knodded


Jason and Ghastly moved bakc to the camp and jaosn sat down

"yea the rumors are true..and i have prove..pointing ot ghastly
