I sighed, and looked down. boy, I was bored. I played with a spoon that was sitting in soup, and wondered, When did that soup get here? Not giving in to eat, I rolled my eyes. I then heard something crack, and lifted the spoon upright. It stayed. I looked back at my soup. It was frozen solid. Gulping, I stood up, and walked around, after hiding the soup with a napkin.

((Finally, Mudget's back. After a lon, cold and boring holiday...

I don't have enough time to read all of what has happened, but I've skimmed through it))

Unaware of what the heck was going on around him, Eric enjoyed a nice piece of apple pie. Then a wall fell down. "How inconvenient." He remarked, to involved in the deliciousness of his pie to notice a big, greenish-yellow insect like creature, standing on the other side. Until, of course, it roared a squelching sound - "Squcha!". He turned around, and his jaw and his pie both dropped onto the ground. "What in the name of..." Eric didn't finish his sentence, for the thing swung one of it's 4 arms at him, and he jumped out of the way. The insect hit the table, destroying all the apple pie. "Awww..." Complained Eric "That was some good pie...". He returned his focus to the creature. It, once again, swung its horrific limb at him. He jumped out of the way, or should I say he flew out of the way, because he went up, but he didn't come back down 'Try to explain that, Sir Isaac Newton' he thought ((I think it was Isaac Newton that said What goes up, must come down...)).
Eric was floating in the air, trying to move around, when he realized that he had no idea how. He tried swimming, but it didn't work. Then he started to fall. He was surprisingly high up, and just before he landed a nice, soft bowl of Ice Cream slid underneath him. "Wow, neat" He thought aloud. "Squcha!" the beast yelled again, and when Eric turned to look at it, it was already jumping at him...

Carl ramed into the creature just before it hit Eric. "are you ok?"

((YAAAAAAAYYYY!!! ACTION!!!!! ))

Shan jumped up at the first roar of the creature, he looked quickly around for a wepon, a kantana or staff like he was used to would be nice. While Carl rammed into the creature Shan ran to a closet that had suddenly appeared. "Yes!" He thought when he saw a good solid broom in there. Kicking the head off he held the Staff at read as the creature got to it's feet and roared "Spucha!!!" Shan winced and ran towards it.

When Shan got up the Riolu was already awake, he had sensed the danger. He jumped up on Shan's shoulder, ready to defend his new friend.

I continued to sit and stared at the bug calmly, thinking. I then looked at my hand. Why is it that things freeze when I touch them? I looked up at the bug. I wonder....
I ran up to the bug, and held onto its tail as it made a jump for the boys. It then tried to throw me off, and I held on tighter. It then made me hit the floor once, and then I closed my eyes and concentrated. I could feel the tail beneath my fingers becoming colder, and opened my eyes to see ice creeping up its tail and legs. I let go of the creature after hitting the floor again, and backed away quickly, falling again. The creature was not all too pleasant at the fact that its tail was frozen, and tried to move on of its legs. It then looked as if it were thinking whether or not to leave.

((so are we reveling powers now? Ok then.))

Shan ignored the fact that the girl had somehow frozen the bugs tail. He continued to charge at the bug, he rapped it hard with the staff, the staff broke. He ignored that too, an intense well of, was it emotion? It seemed like fire. It was building up in him, it seemed to seep through his veins, then he felt a voice, in his mind. "I am a riolu" Somehow he knew it was coming from the dog thing "You possess a power within you, I will try to conceal it's full potential until you are ready" Shan almost didn't care, the fire seemed to be rising in it's intensity. At this point he had jumped onto the creatures back. With a yell he felt the fire seem to burst through his skin, though he could not see it he knew it was there, burning him. With a roar of pain and rage he kicked it and suprisingly it flew out from under him from his kick, he fell to floor with an "omph", and looked up to see the creature coming back.....At him.

I looked at Shan, and raised an eyebrow. Weird.....

((ok power time!))

"holy..." Carl said as he saw the other two. "he cought on fire!" Carl said it a little too loud and the creature charged him. "oh crap" he closed his eyes and braced for impact. He felt like he couldn't move at all. He felt the creature hit him with full impact. but it didn't hurt. he looked at the bug, it was a few feet from him. he looked at himself, he was made a stone. "what!?" he could move again but the stone was gone. "ok, lets try to take this thing down" he looked at the others then at the creature. "attack!"

((weeeeeeeee action))

I looked at Shan as if he just had happily announced that he was going to marry a spoon, and meant it. "I can hardy use this...power as it is! How do you expect us to fight?" I said to him. I looked up in time to see the creature rush at me. It was several yards away.
"Oh."
Now, it was closer.
"......"
It was only a few feet away.
Then, everything turned silent, as if I was deaf, as the creature was so close to me that I could feel the vibration as its tail scraped against the ground, and it hit the table that was right next to me head on, hitting me with the side if its head.
"Crap."
I flew back, and looked at the ground. Time seemed to be moving at a snail's pace. I moved my hand down, and let my emotions loose. When I hit the ground, however, I didn't exactly land. I slid, and kept sliding. I was in a huge ice trail, that stretched across the whole hall. The creature slid on it as well, and I could see it start towards me. As it neared me, I put my arms up.
Crack.
I looked up with one eye open. In front of me was a huge wall. An ice wall. There was a crack in the middle, and I stepped to the side. The wall was about five to eight feet thick. The creature had hit it head-on. I grimaced. That would hurt.
The creature was knocked out cold.
I sighed, but sucked it back in when the creature stirred.

((Shan? Carl said to attack.))


Carl looked at the creature who just started to stir. "i'll jump on it's back" He cried trying to get the others to attack it agressivly. He jumped on its back and turned to stone which made the creature slow and wobbly.

((idk how we're going to kill it but........))

((Yeah, I never said to attack, nor did I say that it caught on fire.....I caught on invisible aura fire.))

Shan slowly got to his feet, he could still feel invisible burns on, not his skin, but it seemed to be on his very essense. Eventually it faded enough to let him open his eyes and fully stand, the pain was stil there though. He saw the creature fighting with the girl and that guy, he couldn't remember his name. The pain finally fully subsided and he was able to start running back towards the creature, careful to keep the still present fire low. He ran over and punched the thing, it seemed to have very tough skin but for some reason it caused him no pain to beat on it. No pain, but his skin was flaking off, to reveal another layer of skin that seemed to be like metal. However when he accidentally grazed a spine, he was still cut, and pain went through his body. Not metal then.

The riolu was still on shan's shoulder, trying to stop the creature from attacking Shan with it's sharp claws by beating them out of the way with counter. "I wish I could control arua enough to talk to him when he's not submerged in it" he thought. "Then I could fully explain the cost of this power of his"

((Mudget, when will it die/be blasted off somewhere?))

((Hmmm... I was going to make Erics power Supermind (Telekinesis and Mind reading sort of things) that he couldn't control very well, but now I think it's a bit too hardout... What do you others have to say about that? We could always change our powers in different universes...))


Carl rammed the Massive beast so it didn't hit Eric, before asking if he was ok. "I'm not the greatest I've been, but not the worst." He replied. He got up, and for some reason, forgot he was involved in this battle, and thought he was watching it like a movie. Artemis froze its tail, and Eric got the giggles - it looked so pathetic compared to normal fight scenes in movies!! The beast ran into a wall of ice that had just appeared, then fell unconscious. Eric roared with laughter, and Carl jumped onto its back. The insect started to totter as it walked, swinging its freaky arms at targets that weren't even there. It was quite boring, and Eric yawned. The beast seemed to get flung away by the yawn, and it crashed through a wall. Beyond the wall was a funny purple jelly-like wall that, when the beast went into it, appeared to teleport away. "Bravo, truly excellent!!" Yelled Eric. The ghost turned to him, and bowed. Then, Eric realized it was all real. His head felt as though it was throbbing, and Eric noticed a big lump on it when he rubbed it. "Gastly..." The ghost (Eric decided to name Gastly, after the only word it said) went through the purple wall, and Eric, unwillingly, followed.

Shan's eyes widend as the boy followed the boy through the purple wall, "fool" he thought; about himself too as he ran after him, the riolu following. Before he reached the wall he turned around and said to the girl with a bittersweet smile "Looks like this is our exit" He then jumped into the purple jelly.

I nodded, and looked to Carl, and smiled. It was more of a YES! grin. I ran after the boy, Eric. While walking behind him, I got my pack from the chair, and retrieved the sleeping creature. I got up to the wall, hesitated and swallowed, then closed my eyes and phased through it. I followed Eric through.

((I have a question: Is it possible to have two powers, while not being able to use the second one much? So much that you don't even realize you have it? I'm fine if it is just a no, I was just being curious....))

((a purple wall? interesting, the power might be a little too much maybe you could limit it a little.))

Carl saw that the other had went into this strange wall and decided to fallow. He took hunter with him on his shoulder and calmly walked through. He was too excited/ frightened to talk.

((Okay. Hmmm....I wonder what is inside the wall....))

I turned and stopped, waiting for the others to catch up.

((Ok, I've come up with some new things, and will point out secrets:
1. Your power changes in different universes
2. The walls of jelly-like stuff are portals to other universes
3. Jamie has become deathly ill, and only changing worlds within 48 hours will cure him

The next thing he knew, Eric was back in his bed at the orphanage. 'Wow, it was only a dream...' he thought. He got up, and crept slowly out of the room, trying not to wake the others. He turned on the TV, and almost screamed - it was the insect beast from his nightmare in an episode of Spongebob Squarepants. It took him a while to calm down and just watch the show, but when he did start watching, he noticed something odd. He'd seen this episode before, and it didn't have the beast last time... Eric walked over to the TV to inspect it, but couldn't figure out what the heck was going on. "Gastly..?" Gastly had realized something was wrong. "You can see it too? Well, I'm definitely not crazy then." Eric said - then he realized "Wait, you do exsist?!! That wasn't a dream..." Eric turned back to the TV "...Which means I didn't dream that up..." The TV exploded as the beast launched itself out of it. Eric yelped with surprise, then ran for the door yelling "Wake up, there's a monster". He reached the entrance, wrenched the door open, and almost fell out, before he realized 'The orphanage is in the middle of nowhere!!' He looked down and saw volcanoes far and wide, and they were all a long way down. Eric looked back and saw the beast. "It's time to take you one - like a MAN!!" Eric roared, and his left arm turned into a sword. 'ok...' he thought when he noticed...

((But we can have our previous powers back later, though, right?))

I opened my eyes to see the orphanage. "Huh?" I asked, confused. I then watched as Eric saw the beast, and it came back to get us. "Crap." I said, swaying gently. How on Earth did this thing get to be in the tv show?

((ok now this is interesting))

Carl got up and he was in the orphanage. He looked over at the creature. "This is why i don't watch tv" he groned. He went to fight it but his powers were gone. "thats weird" He said "i just learned how to use it too.."
the monster turned and charged him. "hunter help me out." the little zubat fought with the monster but it was too weak and the monster sent it flying.
Carl scooped up zubat and asked it if it was ok. it started to fly again and it looked ready to attack. Carl got furious with the monster and charged it. Carl ran into the monster head on and both of them fell out the open door way................

Shan woke up to a deafening roar. Immedetly he jumped out bed.....Wait, BED? He ignored it for now and lanched after the beast and the boy. He focused his mind like he had when he punched it and spines immedtly spurt through his skin, not harming him but giving him a good weapon.

((Is there gonna be a real plot or are we just gonna go from universe to universe beating up on this creature?))

I saw the creature run towards the others, and towards me. I jumped over the beds, and hid. The monster then turned to the boys again. As it neared Carl after head-butting him, I held my breath. Carl would probably be a goner. As the creature neared him, I stood up and pushed my hand in a 'stop' sort of way. "Carl, get out of there!" I yelled, and blinked. Suddenly, I noticed that there was no sound, and that only I was moving. A bed was in midair above my head, but I ignored it and walked out of my hiding spot. I walked slowly, my feet making little noise, but the only noise I heard. Erik and Shan were not moving, and I neared Shan. I waved in front of his face. "Shan? Hello?" My voice echoed. "Weird..." I said, and that echoed as well. I then saw Carl, and the monster a few feet away. I gulped, then walked up to the creature. I looked at Carl again, and looked back at the monster. I swallowed, and went to a desk, getting out a nail gun, wherever that came from. I then shot at the creature several times, until I was out of ammo, and watched it as it went in slowly. Grimacing, I ran to Carl, and dragged him out of the way, getting his personal 'friend' next. I then stood by the creature, and hit it on the head with the gun once. I then closed my eyes again.
Big mistake #1.
Time seemed to start back up again, and the creature roared in agony, swinging its head back and forth. And guess who happened to be right next to its head. Yeah, that's right. me.
I was thrown back, and yelped as I hit the wall. After falling, I noticed the table in front of me, and lacked the energy to get up at this moment. I decided to stay put until the others would need me again.

Carl was beside himself. "how did i get over here?" he noticed the creature wailing in pain from several nails in its flesh. He saw Artemis on the floor. He ran over to her and picked her up and took her over to one of the beds. "are you ok?" He asked with concern. He told Zubat to keep watch wile he tended to her injuries. "your head is bleeeding" He said out of shock. He quickly remembered the first aid class he took and put his hand over the wound to stop the bleeding. he took his hand off again to look at it but it was healed. "ummmm ok........ howd that happen?" He looked back at her and he spoke again. "how do you feel? anything else hurt?"

I sat up, rubbing my head. "Oww...." I looked at Carl. "That hurt. A lot." I then smiled. "Hey, guess what? I can stop time!"

Shan was suprised to see the girl seemingly teleport from one place too another and get hurt. He was going to run over to help her but he saw Carl had it coverd, he then turned his attention to the now screaming-in-pain monster. He jumped up on the creature with his spikes extended in full, he felt them go into the creature and grimaced; not a nice feeling.

"oh that explains it" Carl said. He relized that she just saved him. "ummm thanks for saving me" He blushed.
