Kon gave an evil grin as Gary talked about waking Jason up later "You know..." she said, her grin getting eviler and wider, "We could draw on his face before he wakes up...." Kon silently walked over to Jason, and, without waking him up, took out some magic markers and started working on her masterpiece. A few minutes of silence and scribbling, Kon put up her markers and stepped back to view her work "'Tis magnificent." she said quietly. Jason's face now sported whisker marks on his cheeks, a mustache, a star on his forehead, circles around his eyes, a Hitler 'stache, and a small goatee on his chin "How's that?" Kon asked her friend

Gary stroked his cheek. "I must admit...I like, like." He smirked and took her marker. "But now it's time for a bit of revenge." He walked over to Kiki and did the same. He chuckled at his masterpiece and looked to Kon for her oppinion. "Now they're twins!"

My eyebrow twitched as Gary wrote on my face. I wasn't fully asleep yet, and was getting very, very angry. So, when the two turned their back to me, I went quietly to the bathroom, and chuckled softly at Gary's work. I must admit, it wasn't bad. I washed it off, and snuck back into the room again, and grabbed my crutches. I felt the anger again, and whistled. As Gary turned, I whacked him across the face with a crutch. "I don't like it when people play pranks on me!" I almost yelled, but low enough not to wake the others. When I was done, I giggled and smiled, innocent as a five-year-old. The cructh was back on the wall.

Gary stood up holding his face. "You're lucky you're a girl!" He glared at her. He had a large bruise from the crutch which was swelling alot. "I was only getting back at you. Just because your crippled doesn't give you the right to hit people with your crutches." Gary was clearly angry and refused to let up.

I stiffened when I heard the word 'cripple'. He thinks I'm a....cripple? My body started to shake in anger, and I stood up, facing Gary with more anger than I had ever felt before. (:shock:) I glared at Gary, and walked up to him. "You have no right to call me a cripple! Just because you are perfectly capable of feeling and doing anything a normal person can do, you still don't have the right! It isn't like I'm paralyzed! And besides, I'm not even using my crutches, so you don't have anything to call me a cripple for! Never, EVER call me a cripple again!" I was yelling very loudly now, and I was inches from Gary's face. I then swiftly got up, glaring at Gary, and walked out of the gym, slamming the door shut very loudly, so that it even bounced back open. I kept walking, and didn't look back until I was in the field with the huge tree that Ray had found me at much earlier. I sat there, and tried my best not to cry. Although, my efforts wer ein vain. Another one of my few friends had called me a cripple.

Kon laughed "That was funny. People sure do like hitting on you, don't they, Gary?" she said, reffering to when Farfetch'd hit him with its leek stick, Kiki hitting him right now, and and all of the times Kon herself kept bonking him on the head. Kon gave an innocent look at that thought and said quietly "I wonder if he's gotten a concussion yet?" then, out loud, she said, "So Kiki my friend, what do you think of my art?" gesturing towards Jason's face. As she asked that, however, Kiki shouted at Gary and stalked off. Kon had a shocked face, and then said "You probably shouldn't have said that, Gary."

Gary continued to glare at Kiki as she walked away. Even once the door had slammed, he refused to budge. Ignoring Kon's question, he spun his chair around and faced the opposite direction. "Wake Ray up. We're leaving." He snatched his bag from the floor and took out a map, examining it closely. She really had no right to hit me.

I sighed, and laid back on the rock I was sitting on earlier. I stared up at the tree for the longest time, then groaned out loud as I realized that Ray had my bag with all of my belongings, including my diary. Thankfully, it was written in German. I got up, and looked around. The sun was beginning to rise. I crossed my arms, and laid back down. And Ray wonders why I don't tell anyone about my 'condition'.....

((Ray would have been up by now, if he had heard me yell. You know, Jason would be up too...))

Jason rubbed his eyes. "What just happened? I heard alot of yelling and a slammed door." He looked around and sighed. "Kiki left idn't she." Gary continued to stare blankly at the map. "So, you're mad?" Gary still wouldn't reply. He was deep in thought. "Fine." He packed his bag up and threw it over his shoulder. "You guys coming?" Gary stood. "Yeah. We need to head south to the underground tunnels." He had marked a path on the map using the marked he had used to draw on Kiki's face. Gary had a look of regret as they left the gym.

((You should wait for Ray to post leaving the city.))

I sat up, much calmer now, but still angry. Once I had a grudge, it didn't wear off for day, weeks, or months, all depending on how careless or caring the speaker sounded. I knew I would have this for a while. I looked at the gym, and thought I saw people leave it. Great, now they're leaving without me. I thought, and sighed. I remained on the rock, and let out my sleeping pokemon.

((I know, I'm just trying to stall it for him.))

As they walked Gary glanced over at the tall tree. Jason came up behind him. "You should talk to her." Gary turned to look at him, confused. "Since when do you care?" Jason gave him an annoyed look. "I don''t like this place...I want to get out of here as soon as possible." Gary laughed a bit and nodded. "Fine..." He nervously walked over to Kiki, still holding his swollen cheek. "Hey, I'm..uh...really sorry about before. I didn't think it would upset you so much..."

I glared at him quietly, though he probably couldn't tell from this light. I sat up. "You mean you didn't mean it when you called me a cripple?" I asked. I sighed. "I didn't mean to hit you in the face with my crutches, Gary, and I'm sorry for that." I looked away. I still had a grudge. He would realize that soon enough. More soon than he would think. I sighed again. "But you were still planning on leaving without me, weren't you?" I said, hoping to catch a glimpse of guilt in his eyes.

He shook his head. "We were actually looking around for you. And I didn't mean to call you that...I just let my ego get the best off me too often." He looked down guiltily and sighed. This is gonna be a fun trip... "But the rest of them wanted to!" He smiled warmly, trying to break the tension. "I stopped them though and here I am!" He was obviously trying to get her to smile at his stupidity.

I raised an eyebrow. "Are you trying to make me notice your stupidity?" I said, and I didn't know if he could see it, but I was smiling, a little. I sighed. "I'm coming, but one question.....Out of curiosity, what 'fact' about me led you to call me a cripple. I mean, I'm just being curious. Oh, and my crutches are in the gym anyways."

He put his arms behind his head in a laxed position. He was happy knowing he could make her smile, even if it was because of his lack of wit. "Oh, it was because of your ankle. Why else would I? I meant it by your hitting me with a crutch." He rubbed his face again. "I didn't actually mean you were crippled." He lookd at her a bit confused. "Why...?"

I looked away, thankful that it was dark enough to make my blushing of being caught invisible. "N-nothing. I was just curious, was I not?" I asked suspiciously. I looked at Gary and got up. "Well, we'd better get going. We can sleep in the next town." I walked past him, my head feeling feverish, and went into the gym to relieve my crutches.

He leaned on the wall of the gym with his hands in his pockets. He gazed up at the clouds seeing which cloud looked like which pokemon. Heheh...a Caterpie... He smiled a nit and leaned his head back waiting for Kiki to come out. "So, ya do it?" Jason leaned on the wall nex tto him. "Yep." "Good, now let's go." Jason got up and walked over to the other two. Gary shook his head, chuckling.

I came back out, frowning deeply. What was it about these crutches that made me feel so... I shivered. I didn't know what it was, but it was as if it had an eye, and was always watching me. But now, my arms were numb again, and I could feel my ankle's pain, but I ignored it and limped painfully down to the others, wincing at every move.

Gary noticed Kiki wincing a bit every now and then. "Are you okay? You need any help?" He offered her his arm and gave a warm smile. "Why do you care so much for others?" Jason asked without even looking. "Well, I guess someone here has to." He glared at him and turn back to Kiki."It shouldn't take too long to get there. If you need any help, just say so"

Kon looked at Kiki with concern as she noticed Kiki wincing every time she took a step with her crutches, and said "Is your ankle hurting, Kiki?" Kon thought a while before saying this, for she did not want to sound like she was treating Kiki like a cripple. She afraid that Kiki would get really mad and not be friends with her anymore.

I gave Kon a smile, although it was a fake one. "I'll be fine. It doesn't hurt to bad." I lied. To make it easier on the others, I brought out Hiro. He immediately went to help support me. "Why thanks, Hiro." I said.

"So the next gym leader uses electric type Pokemon huh? I have absolutely nothing to use against him, if it's true..."

Gary nodded. "All I have is my Sandshrew, Farfetch'd is weak against it and Beedrill doesn't have much of a defense as it is. But we should get moving. Gary started to walk away hoping that the others were following. He turned back abruptly "Does anybody have a pokemon who can stand up to electric-types?"
