Roleplay Name: The Seven Symbols
Roleplay Genre: Pokemon

Setting: Battle Frontier

Plot: You and the other players are Pokemon who have been captured by a Trainer (who is nice enough to let you walk outside your Pokeballs). One day, the Trainer decides to take on the challenge of the Battle Frontier... Basically, you are a Pokemon. This is the story of one Trainer's Battle Frontier adventure... from his Pokemon's point of view.

After getting off the ferry from Lilycove, the Trainer disappears into the Pokemon Mart, and stocks up before taking on the Battle Frontier the next day. After tracking down his Pokemon that he had carelessly left loose, a new Pokemon catches his eye...

Additional Rules:
Literate RP. No one-liners. Or two-liners.
Only a little godmodding/powerplaying, etc. Everyone gets an equal role in "controlling" the Trainer, who will be referred to as "Trainer" throughout the RP.

We are all at Lvl 70.
One TM OR HM OR Egg Move OR Learned Move. The rest must be Level-Up Moves.
Sinnoh Pokemon/attacks/items are allowed.

Item Held: A Soul Dew, which was given to her when her Trainer had encountered a couple of rare pokemon a while back.

Appearance: Smaller than average Lucario, plus a large red scarf around his neck.
Background: Raised and evolved, then traded off to current trainer as Lucario. Been travelling with the gang for only a couple of weeks now.

Background: Grown and raised on Dewford Island, Sableye wasn't caught much long ago so it hasn't been taught a single TM yet. It was known as the fastest of its clan and took great pride in that. Althoguh after being captured, it became quite depressed and continues to search for a route to freedom.

Appearance: Regular sized Rhyperior, except he's blue. :O
Background: Trainer got him from a trade when he was only a Rhydon. Surprisingly, Crash evolved during the trade.

Background: Vice always would seek attention, although he wouldn't always get it. In that situation, he'd normally attack some weaker Pokemon.

The Trainer stepped off the ferry from Lilycove City, and his Pokemon eagerly followed. Amazora lumbered off the boat first, quite quickly for a Slowbro. The Trainer disappeared into a Pokemon Mart near the jetty, leaving his assorted Pokemon outside. Amazora yawned as she watched the other Pokemon make their way towards her.

The Lucario stretched and yawned as he followed the Slowbro from the boat. He then stopped, looking around this new and exciting place. To him, every place they travelled was new. This was Hoenn, after all. Zack was grown and bred in Sinnoh, so Johto, Kanto and all the other regions seemed like a pleasant dream to him.

Zack turned to his fellow pokemon, "Was this the place Trainer was talking about?" he asked, then turning back around to gaze at the people, oddly shaped buildings and other random pokemon nearby.

Kinar shrugged. "Who really knows? Trainer is quite unpredictable at times." Her voice remained calm, and Kinar laid down by the others, and yawned. She was sometimes used as the pillow of the team for other tired pokemon, or as the pokemon that the tired ones ride on. She didn't mind, for she loved her 'family'.

Jimmy yawned, just waking up. "I don't know...I don't much care for this place..." He folded his arms and mainly stayed in the back of the group. For he missed what he called his REAL family back in the Dewford Cave. Jimmy looked around curiously, trying to stay out of the light. "This sun...how can you stand it?" He turned to Kinar and Zack. "You guys have been here a while I guess, when does it normally get darker?" He squinted as the bright sun burned his emerald eyes.

Kinar laughed lightly. "You are a true dark pokemon, I can tell you that much. Isn't it obvious? I'm a fire type, so of course I'm better in the sun. It gets darker in..." Kinar counted off the hours. "...Well, a few hours human time." I looked at Jimmy carefully. "Will you be alright in the sun for that long?"

Kinar shrugged. She looked around, taking in the view. "Well, it doesn't seem like a meeting of any sorts, and trainers all over are looking very competitive. Especially a few trainers who are looking at us..." She trailed off, and growled at a trainer who was looking at them as if accusing them of wrong-doing. He looked away, and Kinar continued to look around. Her body was extremely tense.

Jimmy grunted. "I'll be fine. just not used to all this light." He sighed and decided to walk lowly under Kinar. "You're right." He glared at one of the trainers as it gave an angry look back. Once Jimmy showed his teeth the triainer turned away. Jimmy gave a wide victorious grin.

Kinar smiled as well, and shifted her tail so that some of the fur covered the sun from Jimmy's eyes.


((After all, have you seen how big her tail is?!:shock: I could hide in an Arcanine's tail!))

Kinar smiled, and put her head down on her paws. She sighed. "What is taking Trainer so long?" She asked out loud. She didn't mind being with the other pokemon, few of whom knew her as a Growlithe, but she wanted to move around, which she couldn't do now.

((What I don't understand is how the trainer has more than six Pokemon with him))

Vice was bored from all the waiting. He turned to Jimmy and muttered "Hey, wanna see something cool?". Before Jimmy had an opportunity to reply, Vice ran of into the Mart. Before too long he was back, holding a 12 pack of Lemonade. "Now watch as I turn this Lemonade into coffee." He whispered, loud enough for most of the other Pokemon to hear. There was a café near by, and grabbing one of the Lemonades, he ran into it, shaking up the Lemonade. There was a loud crashing sound from within the café, and soon Vice ran out holding a coffee, with the sound of shouting following him. "I'll give a cappuccino to whoever hides me!!" He screamed.

Kinar rolled her eyes. "Give me a break Vice. But fine, I'll cover up for you. Again." Kinar moved her body so that she had a large available hiding spot that was covered in fur, and only Trainer could tell that Kinar wasn't laying down in that pose. It was the perfect hiding spot, by her upper torso that would be covered in her leg and tail/mane fur. (Either or.) "Come on Vice, hide." She said teasingly.

"Thanks" Vice said, hiding next to Jimmy behind Kinar. He gave her the coffee, then helped himself to a (stolen) Lemonade. "Where did that Sneasel go?" He heard the man he robbed ask Kinar.
