please tell me, since its very hard to choose between the three..which of them is better than all the others? The pokemon that would last long in battles, would beat the elite four fast, and also the pokemon with good attack (defence, speed and all the other stuff dont matter for me as long as there's good attack)...most say torchic, since it's a fire-fighting type pokemon, and still majority say mudkip, since its a water type pokemon and would evolve into a swampert that is purely invincible, some even say treecko since it's cool and has high speed...

please help me choose.. :))

None of them are better than all the others, it depends on personal preference. However, if you are looking for the best attack stats, go with Torchic, since Blaziken ends up having the best attack stats. It's weaker in other areas (defenses and HP), but it's got the best attack stats.

Go with you favorite...but if you want a pokemon for battling, judging by your description, Mudkip would be best. As a bulky water, it can take hits well, and can still do damage.

But really, choose your favorite, because in-game doesn't require the absolute best pokemon :)

I don't know much about the other two starters, but Treecko is definitely hard, even with a (sorta) good team I had problems with the Elites and the Champ. My brother, however, has Emerald and chose Torchic and had no problems at all (even without a team).

I'd say Mudkip, because when your Mudkip evolves into a Swampert, it is really strong. Swampert has great attack and great resistance (Defence).

go with what you like,
but i don't know why i always choose
blaziken
because
its good against the elites
with
elites having
ice, dark and steel (RS)
what Blaziken has advantage of

go with what you like,
but i don't know why i always choose
blaziken
because
its good in game
cos blaziken
is effective to so many in-game pokemon~

Mod Edit: Don't double post. Use the Image button. -JsXtm

As everyone else has been saying, go with your fav. I chose Torchic first, then Treeko, then Mudkip as a kind of test. Blaziken proved to be very good through most of the gym leaders and elite four, but he struggled a lot with his weaknesses, like Psychic and Water. Swampert started ramming her way through her opponents, and she had almost no weaknesses, so unless she was fighting a strong Grass type, she was good. Sceptile only struggled with a few things: Fire, Flying, and Ice; but otherwise his speed pulled him through his victories. Luckily, I could teach Sceptile some awesome moves, so then he could kick his enemies bums.

So i hear you guys like mudkips?

He's the best choice to me, with a nice big moveset as swampert,(and sceptile gets next to nothing...) but any one of em can beat all the gyms when it comes down to it. Really just pick your fave, or whichever one balances out any team you have planned.

Mudkip . When it evolves into a swampert, you will see the true power. It's really awesome to have a swampert.

Sceptile is my favourite of the three, although I tend not to need her help during the Elite 4 battles. I like her speed and special attack stats, but she can't endure many hits.

I always seem to pick the fire type. I thought {torchic} & eventually {blaziken} were awesome. It really is preference on whether you want to raise one that is easy or if you just like that certain poke.

Umm... but the difference isn't very far, however if you select torchic at the first time, there's no advantage at the 1st gym leader (usually at the 1st gym, you don't have more than 2 Pokemon). And the 1st TM you'll retrieve is bullet seed, which is compatible to {treecko}.

thats not true
when you get to the first gym,
you can get torchic to lv.16. so it
evolves to combusken
and learn double kick[at 16]
its not hard

Sceptile: He's fast and strategic. To me, he helps in the game's beginning.
Blaziken: He hits hard, and gets a good movepool. To me, he's best in scattered spots in the game (though on the Water routes... )
Swampert: He's a great tank while attacking, and after Brawly, he'll be your best man at the owning party.

Though it's all up to you, as everyone says. Whichever one you like, pick it. You can adjust your team afterwards, anyway.

I would reccomend Blaziken with his hidden ability, Speed Boost. The other two have alright abilities, but speed boost just takes the cake in my opinion. That crazy attack power with speed boost fora Fire/Fighting physical attacker just phenominal. Swampert can hit hard and absorb explosion and Self-Destruct with it's Damp ability but that doesn't do much compared to Speed Boost.
