I am completely new to the whole sig making buissness so dont be too harsh
ill post more examples soon as soon as i get good bachgrounds p.s ill add all the sigs ive done so far on this one thread along with the one on my post. 
my interpretation of the dragon saffirix/sarrafix and this one is a so called improved version:

simply getting a background and adding text doesn't really make a signature, try looking through tutorials. :)
Although, this is a good start, you know how to make text and a border, doesn't look like it's in paint, so overall, good start. :) 8D _________________  afk |

a new sig of mine i sorta feel i ruined the thinby adding my name in the corner any views? p.s. sarrafix/saffirix is an undead dragon wis skeleton is joined together by shards of ice....or so according to legend. _________________ |

Try to edit that terrible "Werewolf 13" text. Otherwise, that background is amazing.

The border is too thick and the text doesn't really add any flow to the sig. Thin out the border and change the text. That might work.

my only problem with this is the text cos mabe you could get more fonts and different fadeing finishes to them

when I say that I am completely new to making sigs i meant it!
i can only add text nad get a background. can any one tell me how to do the fade effect and other stuff? my gimp file has been eupdated and i dont know how to work it.... 
god im an idiot. anyway ill try the background & border thing. _________________ |

ok ive had a look at the gude but the thing is that there is a new version of gimp...but ive managed to use it without without destroying the artwork.
I cant seem to open the file i dont know why... ill have to use my old program. _________________ |
