((I'm really sorry about not showing up, but I went out for dinner, and it was too late when I got home. It's just that you always post when I'm never around, which is from 9-11PM. If you wouldn't post 2 full pages each night that I'm not here, it wouldn't be so hard to catch back on; not that I'm blaming either of you for anything.))

Lighthouse, who was relcutantly waiting outside the cave, helplessly watching the huge brawl, couldn't take it anymore and jumped inside the cave.

"Sorry guys, but I've got a score to settle; that stupid Gengar has been asking for it from the start." Lighhouse said angrily, then turning to to his possessed trainer, "Let my friends out of their Pokeballs, that way, we have more in numbers."

"Ugh...where am I?", Michael said weairly. He was in an endless black void, all alone, except for a Haunter. "C-could you tell me where I am?", he asked the Haunter, "and what you're doing here?"


((BTW: Yes, the Haunter is Pandora, apperently I wasn't prepared for my character to be posseseed, so the're both in his subconscious.))

((It's okay- we're probably on different timezones, or at least different parent controls We'll try and keep you in the roleplay when you're out.))

"Oh, you're awake!" said Pandora to Mike. He spoke in the human language- the native language of the subconscious he was occupying. "Eh, funny story about where you are, actually- you were kinda unconscious, and Ginger traded you for Lighthouse who was a live sacrifice for these ghosts, and... well, I'm kinda possessing you for a little, could you help me figure out how to get this body of yours to release your other pokemon?"

((Well, I'm in EST (Florida), and I'm only 14 as well, plus this is my parents comp. Mine's broken at the time being, but we're getting it fixed sometime soon.))

Mike was stunned, "You can explain the details to me later, apperently we have a situation on our hands. Anyway, just slowly guide your hands down to my Pokeballs, like so; I'll try not tofight it too much. It just seems weird to be possesed, tha's all."

"Cassius, let me handle Brutus, I can take him down easily.", Lighthouse grunted. Normally, he didn't care about vengence, but this was differernt. "And Ginger, if you make fun of my being a vegetarian, you're next."

((I understand- I only got my own computer recently.))

Pandora took a deep breath, mentally, and stretched out the human fingers, guiding them down slowly to the pokeball belt and pressing the release button on each one in order. He had a hard time seeing them with the double vision he got through possession- seeing both the inside of the mind and through the eyes of the possessed. "Thanks" said Pandora, "posessing human bodies is so weird sometimes, dunno how Cassius d- er, I mean, I dunno how he can stand being a human, what with how he's always been that way and all."

((I'm gonna wait for Flannery to reply before dealing with the gengar situation, since he's currently in mid-leap.))

((Ah, I see 8) ))

"Wait. Did you just say that Cassius has possessed humans before?! But he's a human, it would be impossible...unless...Cassius is a ghost?"

Static, Proton, Shockbox, Quikster, and Kaboom were all let out of their Pokeballs.

"What on Hoenn is going on?", Proton asked. The other 4 nodding in agreement.

"No time to explain, just fight all the ghosts, except for Cassius' of couse."

((I'll wait too, but we can still do the Michael/Pandora conversation going right?))

"Eh, Cassius is kinda a long story, and he's kinda keeping a few secrets right now" admitted Pandora. "Ask him when we get to Fortree, he'll probably be guilty enough about hiding stuff by then to explain everything. And please don't tell him I said anything- geh, how do you move without floating?! Ruddy arms and legs…" Pandora said, trying to run Michael into the protective circle made by the pokemon. The perish song would surely take effect soon, all he needed to do is fend off the sableye approaching rapidly until that happened. "I don't suppose you humans have any secret elemental attacks you aren't letting us pokemon in on- because now would be an excellent time to use one."

"Geh, nevermind, it's probably a way too long story story anyway; I'll just ask him later. Oh, by the way, sorry, we don't have any secret elemental attacks you were talking about. I mean if we did, we'd probably be the ones fighting, not you. But since you're inside me...maybe you could try a Shodow Ball or something; it just might be crazy enough to work."

"Attacking while in possession is a bit advanced, but..." Pandora closed his eyes, concentrating on sending ghost energy through into the human body he was possessing, then concentrating it into a shadow ball attack. It was pretty feeble, but fortunately so was the sableye, and the little ghost was knocked back several feet from the attack.

"Well if it's that hard, you still did a good job nonetheless. Anyway, maybe ou could get out of my body now. No offense, but I think I can take things from here now. At least I'll be able to move my legs. One more thing...thanks...I guess."

"Uh, the thing is when I leave your body we're both going to be unconscious for at least twenty minutes" said Pandora sheepishly. "I'm not strong enough yet to do this without that energy drain at the end, so I think we'd better wait until we're safe before I head out. I think I can give you control of your own legs, though, hang on…"

In the subconscious darkness, it was as if a bright light had appeared in the middle, opening control of some parts of the body for their original owner. "I hope this works- I'm in way over my head here, controlling a conscious human body…"

Mike sighed, "There's always a catch isn't there." A pause, "Well I do it everyday, you get used to it.", he said, and couldn't help but chuckling a bit. "But down to business, I'll control the...I mean my legs. Alright...here we go...1...2.....3!"

((I need to head off to do homework, 'back soon!))

((I just thought of something. What exactly is the name of our RP? It can't just be titled "First Pokemon RP".))

((It doesn't really need any special name, but if you can think of something creative, let me know. ^^))

Brutus was caught off guard by the energy discharged by the cleanse tag, and he paused in his attack to shield his eyes from the purple light, even though it wasn't all that bright. "Curse you, Cassius!" he snarled, trying to put as much distance between him and the holy item. If he could just get rid of it. "Hyah!" Brutus sent a concentrated ball of dark energy at the other ghost, his last futile attempt to conquer the enemy.

Ginger was still fighting tooth and nail with the Haunter who tried to hurt her trainer. She bit down on his hand, the ghost smacking her over the head with his other one. Suddenly, he felt himself knocked back by the tail of a large dragon Pokemon. "Abina! Good timing!" Ginger panted, moving back over to cover Sidney. The heavy Flygon used Crunch on the Haunter, the Pokemon drifting to the ground in exhaustion.

"This is taking longer than I thought," Sidney admitted. There had to be a quicker way. She looked up. Stalagmites. A lot of them. They cluttered the entire cave ceiling. "Fall back!" she ordered the others. "I'm bringing this place down! Make sure no one escapes!"

Cassius held both hands in front of him to try and deflect some of the dark energy, but you could tell he was hurt even though only half of it had gotten through. "You heard her, guys, fall back!" he told his team, and the four ghosts who had been fighting off the gang backed off, heading out of the cave, with Rook pausing at Cassius' side to help the injured trainer to his feet.

((Poor Cassius is always getting hurt. ))

Brutus smirked when he realized his attack had injured the ghost. But he noticed that the trainers' Pokemon were withdrawing. "Cowards!" he roared. "Don't think I'll let you escape that easily!"

"Come on, Ginger!" Ginger felt herself lifted up by Sidney, who jumped onto the dragon's back. "Now, Abina! Earthquake!" The Flygon squealed, lifting her tail and powerfully bringing it down onto the floor. The earth shuddered, the stalagmites dropping simultaneously down onto the ghosts. "Let's get out of here!" With one powerful flap, Abina soared out of the cave, avoiding the falling obstacles.

"Come on guys, before this place comes tumbling down!", commanded Static." 5 of the electric Pokemon quickly ran out of the cave, except Lighthouse. "Lighthouse, hurry up before you get flattened!"

"But I-"

"Forget your stupid vengence, we need to get out of here now!"

"......fine.", Lighthouse sighed, and started to run out of the cave.

'Not...so...fast...", one Shuppet said, who releashed a semmingly powerful Curse attack.

"Lighthouse, look out!", Static shouted.

"Pandora, on the count of 3, I want you to exit my body. Trust me on this."

"Okay…" said Pandora, bracing himself, and prepared to leave the body on Michael's mark. ((You can control Pandora to the extent of making him leave Mike when he counts to three.))

Cassius stopped at the edge of the cave, quietly asking Rook to find the blank paper in his bag. "I need to stay and seal the area" he said, trying to stand up on his own and falling back onto the large ghost that was supporting him. "It will only take them a few minutes to recover from the shock and phase through the rocks- most of these guys are just misguided, but I need to make sure Brutus doesn't get out and harm more travelers like us."

((Okay.))

"1....2......3, now!", Mike commanded. With that, Pandora seemed to vanish from the subconsious Mike's sight, and out of his body.

Back outside his mind, Mike took several large steps then dived to block the Curse attack from hitting Lighthouse. He was down for a few seconds, but managed to hold on the consiciousness and exit the building, along with Lighthouse, Static, and the rest of his team.

Abina tuckered out really quick, coming in for a clumsy landing. "Wah!" Sidney tumbled off the Pokemon's back, rolling in the grass. Ginger managed to twist herself around and land on all fours. "What a mess," Sidney groaned, lying on her back, refusing to get up.

The was the sound of the last stalagmite shattering, the cave entrance shrouded in dust. The outline of a figure could be seen stepping out. It was Brutus, and he was looking very transparent...and scary. "Thought a little stunt like that would finish me off, eh?" He laughed, fixing them all with a Mean Look. "Wrong!"

"Oh, shut up, you tub of lard!" Ginger hissed.

"You...will...pay......for...ugh......" He wobbled on the spot, then fell forward flat on his face.

"You guys alright?", he asked his teammates. They all nodded in agreement, since Mike clearly would be unable to understand the Pokemon language. Mike then look over to Brutus, "Did he faint?", he asked. Starting to lose energy, he kneeled over. "Don't worry, I'll be fine, I'll be out for just 20 minut-.", with that, he collasped on the ground, unconscious for the time being.

Rook handed Cassius a notebook filled with blank paper and a large black marker, with which Cassius drew the same symbols that had been on the cleanse tag. He pressed one hand to the paper, then hissed. "I'm outta energy- this tag wouldn't hold him for half a day, I guess I'll need to take care of him the new-fashioned way" he muttered, pulling out a spare pokeball from his bag. "I'll sort things out with him once we reach Fortree, and see if he's fit for battle or if he needs to be sent off. Pokeball, go!"

Brutus disappeared inside the pokeball. It didn't seem to shake at all before locking itself.

"Woo!" Ginger applauded, doing a type of victory boogie. "We rock! Take that, you fat ghost!"

"Stop it, Gin," Suzaku muttered, grabbing Michael again. "You're embarrassing yourself."

"But we totally kicked butt! I mean, you know we were awesome in there! Those Pokemon never stood a chance! And you ghost guys are pretty tough." The last sentence were aimed at Cassius' team. "No wonder you're gym Pokemon. Absolutely incredible!"

"If you haven't noticed," Lulu butted in. "Cassius is in pretty bad shape."

"What I'm hoping is that Mike's okas well.", Lighthouse said. "I mean he saved me from that Curse attack, which hopefully didn't hurt him too bad."

"Pandora is also out for a bit as well, but I'm sure he'll be fine.", said Static.

"I'm fine, really" said Cassius, trying to stand up again. The fact that he still couldn't sort of contradicted that statement. "Pandora, did you bring that potion I-" Cassius stopped mid-sentence, realizing Pandora was lying, unconscious, a few feet from the rubble.

Cassius sort of half ran, half collapsed over to help his fallen friend. "You did a good job, Pan- controlling a conscious human, I wasn't sure you were ready for that yet" he said quietly. "We'd better get back to camp, Maiden will be worried, and I think all of us need a good rest after this. Without their leader, those other ghosts will probably disband on their own- I'll check things out after the festival to make sure this area has been cleared up."
