The premise is simple. I'm going to give a list of five video game characters, and it's your job to sprite them. Since you probably won't know every character on here, some research may be required. They'll be 5 different characters from 5 different video games.

This contest will end in two weeks, on December 5th, 2007.

Rules:
The sprite must be no larger than 70 x 70 and no smaller than 45 x 45.
They don't have to be animated, but feel free to animate them if you like.
You can enter up to 5 sprites, one of each character, but you can enter less of you want. No more than one sprite per character per contestant.
Put your entries into your old post -- no one should have more than 1 post in this thread.
Post all them here. I won't be taking entries by PM.
They do not have to be 100% scratched. If you take a Pokemon trainer sprite and recolour it to look like a character, it's a suitable entry.

Prizes:
1st Place: 150 Psybucks
2nd Place: 50 Psybucks
3rd Place: 25 Psybucks
Possible Honorable Mention: 5 Psybucks

Judging:
Each sprite will be marked out of 10, for a maximum score of 50/50.
Obviously, the more sprites you enter, the higher a possibility for a high score.
Sprites should depict the character doing something characteristic -- something they would actually do.
Animations will NOT be given an unfair advantage over still sprites.

Cool, I haven't done custom trainer sprites in a while.

I hope this topic puts me back in shape. Hope I'm not too rusty, I mean I have created fantastic trainer sprites before, but now I don't know if I still got it.

I have completed two of them so far, since I'll have to go to sleep in a bit this is all I got done.....

One question, if we feel we can improve the sprites we have, could we replace the ones we have out before the deadline?

Edit: I have decided to quite. No one else is entering, and well the spirtes I'm making are a little big, but I can't really make them smaller, they are perfect the way they are, so I'm out of here.

Yes, you can edit them however many times you want. Just make sure that by the deadline, all your final products are there.
