I was convinced one of these would be made, but it seems that it hasn't. I couldn't find a 'the worlds worstest cartoon' thread either, for that matter.

But seriously, wtf is wrong with these people who seem to be obsessed with a talking yellow sponge D: It's not funny, all the characters act stupid/are stupid. And the song is the most annoying theme tune I've ever heard. I can't stand the program.

It's not that bad. I don't watch it alot, but I think it's a helluva lot better than some things they show on TV now.

I despise the show as well. No one who has a job and is old enough to drive acts as immature as Spongebob does. I have no idea about Patrick. Squidward is most likely a stoner. I don't remember anyone else. It has been a while since I last watched it.

well, i used to not mind spongebob, because i think squidward is one of the best cartoon characters ever, but once i was staying at my cousins and the the TV was in the background, and a spongebob marathon just happened to be on. once you hear spongebob's laugh every five minutes or so, it can get extremely irritating (understatement) and make you want to chuck the tv down the stairs.

Either I'm detecting sarcasm, or you're just in denial. Most intelligent people (and semi-intelligent people) know there is a space after punctuation and commas. You don't, so you're obviously not one of those people.

Well, there's also no comma before an and when you're listing something.

Spongebob Squarepants is made for children like 6-9 yrs old. So what do you expect from a comedy cartoon catered to children? Sometimes it's nice to laugh over immature and senseless things.

Squidward is the squarest squid EVAZ. I think Spongebob is just for people that like random comedy, and I think it's pretty awesome actually.

I really use to hate Spongebob. Now I can at least have it on in the background without jumping for the remote.

Seasons 1-3 are absolutely hilarious. People say "the show isn't funny, it's immature", but the show isn't amazing for being immature, it's amazing for making immature things hilarious, like Tenacious D.

If anyone feels embarrassed for liking the show, my brother's nearly 22 and he loves the show. My dad's 43 and he thinks it's hilarious. So it's a family show.

Season 4 and onwards are crap. I have season 4, and I stopped watching it halfway through. Completely disappointing in every way. It wasn't funny, it was stupid.

Jeez, the more I see it being older, the more I can see it as an adult show. There are just some jokes kids wouldn't get.

um, yea, i agree with sobohobo. spongebob is hilarious. sometimes i hang out with the other guys and we watch spongebob. then sometimes futurama. then sometimes b horror movies. (for those b horror movie fans out there, rent/buy "Abominable". it's actually quite decent.)

i'm not obsessed with spongebob. i just think yes, it is a funny tv show.

Meh, Spongebob is........a very mediocre show. There are times when you wanna watch it. And times when you don't. =]

Above post is very true. However, it is getting more violent as newer episodes come. Not that I am against it. in fact, I like the kiddish but funny violence in Bob Squad.

Especially when Spongebob gets in his F-16 and blows up Patrick's Robot's head

Not to start any fights, but i think Spongebob is one of the best kids cartoons that there are anymore. The entire show has been going 10 whole years and i still watch because there is always a new one out there to admire and actually laugh at. This show was filled with stupid characters and thats what the entire point is. So thats why i think spognebob is still pretty cool.

Odd thing is that is is getting better. More and more teenagers are watching it. In fact, ask any one of my school if they watch, and they simply say, "Who doesn't?"

I find some of the humor dull, but most of it is quite hilarious.

I still have to see the episode with the f-16.

It's just a war between Spongebob and Patrick using sand, then Spongebob gets a fighter. I know it is an F-16 because that is the only modern fighter owned by the United States army that has ONE engine (and one tail wing) instead of two.

Today, the National No Spongebob Day episode was recurring. Everyone else's thoughts on this episode? I thought it is okay, but I would much rather watch something else. I also hate the Gummy one with Patrick's massive Gummy.

I think they should concentrate on new episodes. They are replaying the same ones over and over and over, but no new ones are coming. Pretty soon like no one will watch the show because of this. And when only one new episode is coming out, they have a massive premier with commercials about three months before

WHenever my little sister goes to the hospital because she gets a flare-up (she has Crohn's disease) she always has Spongebob on all the time, and it's so annoying. Once, there was a marathon of it on when I was there, and we watched it for 5 straight hours! I always think of Children's Hospital when I see Spongebob.
