I'll rate the two Octilleries for now... I like both actually. Regarding the second one, I always thought Constrict doesn't trap the enemy; it's only Wrap and Bind that traps. Please enlighten me, and you can begin testing both of them after that :D

Oh, silly me. Yeah, it's Wrap that does. They always were similiar.

Anyway, I personally prefer the first one.

Alright. Begin testing the first Octillery then :D

This set is very good if u have decent prediction skills. Has any of u raters had the time to test this one? I bet it's worth it.

Magical Leaf
Toxic

Tropius is really too slow to be a Sweeper anyway, so, just made it a Toxishuffler. Once all opponents are Toxic'd, alternate between Magical Leaf and Protect to slowly whittle down.

{vaporeon}@Leftovers
Impish
252 HP, 129DEF, 129SPDEF
Acid Armor/Charm
Wish
Toxic
Rest

Vaporean eats Special Attacks easily, and Acid Armor/Charm allows it to take a few Physical attacks too. Keep healthy with Wish, then blow them down with Ice Beam/Surf and indirect damage.

Some old sets that I haven't tested. Anyway, Tropius was... bleh. Too vulnerable, even with SPDEF EVs.

Vaporeon was good, lasted very long, but with Steels running rampage... still, it's not bad. I thnk it would have worked better if I hadn't changed Ice Beam/Surf to Rest.

I've also got other sets which I'm gonna dig up, but basically:

Endeavour
Agility

Pooh, bad Beedrill and his sad HP/Def. I know you're probably thinking this is so Hitmontop. Meh. Agility over Quick Attack, and the last attack is entirely up to you. HP Bug for 140 Base Power (70+STAB+Swarm), Sludge Bomb if you can't get HP Bug or like the 30% poison effect. Plus, 135 BP isn't too shabby (90+STAB). And finally Twineedle if eithey you really like Twineedle or paranoid of Subs, though at 100 BP only (25x2 hits+STAB+Swarm.

Beedrill: Okay. My favourite part was when I K'Oed a Blissey and Umbreon by dropping their health then Hidden Powering them. Also, Beedrill surprised me by being faster than many Pokemon, even without Agility.

Venumeleon wrote:
The only problem I see with that Umbreon is if you try it against something like Machamp or Heracross, and then get royally pwned by a Cross Chop or Megahorn, since Umbreon is weak to Fighting and Bug.

I've been on a moveset spree lately....

{steelix}
Sassy@Leftovers
252HP, 129SPDEF, 129DEF
Block/Sand Tomb
Swagger
Toxic
Explosion/Rest

Obviously, you have to be very careful with this set. Block when a physical sweeper is out, of Sand Tomb if you want some extra damage, Swagger and Toxic, then either blow up or sleep when health drops. You can either have the Sp. Def EVs in case you're worried about the occasional Flamethrower or so, or do 252HP, 252DEF, 6ATT and Impish nature if you're not concerned.

Steelix: I think I need an attack move. Toxic isn't cutting it anymore. Maybe Rock Slide, or EQ. Otherwise, this thing doesn't really last for that long before it blows up.

The other version is your classic Tox-Staller.

Glalie: Um... a little unstable. Defenses were a little too fragile before it could do anything serious.

Tentacruel @ Leftovers Trait = Liquid Ooze
+ Speed - SpAtk Nature. 252 Speed, 129 Sp Def, 129 Attack

Wrap
Toxic
Swords Dance
Sludge Bomb/physical move.

In essence, what this does is make Ludicolo's leech seed and toxic useless. Wrap it, Toxic it, and swords dance while Ludicolo wallows in its own mess of self damaging leech seed (assuming Liquid Ooze works like that) while you Swords Dance up to prepare to sweep most other opponents.

Of course, if Liquid Ooze doesn't work like that, just disregard this set entirely, lol.

Tentacruel: It pwned Ludicolos. Seriously. As well as a few Sceptiles. Against others, it did okay. Swords Dance and Wrap weren't used much, because Sludge Bomb usually did the trick.

Definitely Tentacruel, and I think Beedrill and Vaporeon aren't half bad neither.

Okay, but can you let me know which pages of the thread they can be found? I need to take a look first before adding them to the Hall of Fame. Tell me the page numbers of future sets that you think should be added to the HoF as well. Please do so too, WPM. Thanks :D

Okay, I think the sets that venu pointed out are good, give me about three seconds to get the page numbers.

Added Vaporeon and Tentacruel to the Hall of Fame. Congratulations Venu and Mr. Saturn :D

Anyway, here's a Blissey:

{blissey}@Leftovers | Serene Grace | Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Special Attack 129 Speed 129 HP
Softboiled/Rest/Aromatherapy
Water Pulse
Psychic
Thunderbolt

A special sweeping moveset for my favourite Pokemon, Blissey? Yes, and with three special attacks that have side effects: Water Pulse to Confuse, Psychic to lower the opponent's Special Defense, and Thunderbolt to Paralyse. These side effects will occur twice as often as a result of Serene Grace. Softboiled/Rest/Aromatherapy is self explanatory. Opinions?

Sounds good. The only problem is that so many people ban Blissey, so you won't get to use it much.

I am running out of ideas. Fast. And i'm getting desperate too.

{celebi}
Baton Pass
Swords Dance/ Calm Mind
Substitute
Something to fend for itself (Giga Drain/ Psychic)

{scizor} @ Quick Claw
+Sp.Def -Atk | Swarm
Agility
Iron Defense
Swords Dance
Baton Pass

Trying a couple of BPers. Celebi is completely off the top of my head. Scizor's Agility helps his speed to increase the chances of a succesful BP BEFORE the opponent attacks, as well as being BP-able.

There's already a Togetic with that strategy in the HoF. + Blissey is only good as a tank IMO

{snorlax} @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
Nature: Impish/Careful (+def/sp.def, -sp.atk)
EVs: 129 def, 129 sp.def, 252 HP
~ Rest
~ Sleep Talk
~ Body slam
~ Earthquake

WPM mentioned in the rating center awhile back that this set might surprise an opponent, so I thought I'd put it up here. The goal is to have Snorlax fall asleep and then /stay/ asleep, using sleep talk to attack. He should hit rest again once every three turns or so, so his HP shouldn’t get too low.

Edit: And, as an added bonus, being asleep makes him immune paralysis and toxic :D And possibly burn/freeze, too- do they override sleep?

Both are kinda standard.

Oh, and I forgot, Beedrill is Page 13

Here are two sets:

{milotic} @ Lefties
Nature: Timid / Ability: Marvel Scale
EV's = 252 HP; 129 Def.; 129 S.D.
Moves:
Recover
Water Pulse
Dragonbreath
Double Team

Might be too standard, but oh well. Timid for more speed, and a good thing about less attack is less self-confusion damage. EV's too keep it alive as with Recover. Double Team because it can withstand attacks quite well, and then dodge them later on. Water Pulse for the confusion and STAB bonuses. Dragonbreath to help paralyze and just cause damage. I like this set and it goes with a strategy of mine. Just like the next:

Another:

{clefable} @ Lefties
Nature: Timid / Ability: Cute Charm
EV's = 252 HP; 129 Def.; 129 S.A.
Moves:
Light Screen
Cosmic Power
Psychic
Wish

Light Screen for Special Defense bonus. Cosmic Power for more defensive power. Wish/Lefties... healing, duh. Psychic for Fighting types. I didn't see the regular set for Clefable but I'm bound to check it out soon. Like I said though, my strategy.

So... that's about all I've got now... more later.

~Fury Cutter
~HP Ground/Attract

Confuse 'em (And Attract 'em , if you feel insecure) , then Fury Cutter until you miss. Rock Slide for STAB, and HP Ground for Type Weaknesses (Steel and Electric)

I am the mastah!

Gryphflame's Snorlax is okay, so perhaps Venu can take charge of rating this.

Anyway, I've added Beedrill to the HoF as well, Venu :D

tiger10x, your sets are kinda standard. Sorry about that.

The Kabutops will work IMO, but then it isn't too creative, is it? I don't know, what do you think guys?

Anyway, I've decided to change my Blissey a little:

{blissey} @Leftovers | Serene Grace | Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Special Attack 129 Speed 129 HP
Softboiled/Rest/Aromatherapy
Water Pulse
Psychic
Calm Mind

With Calm Mind, it should work better, and it will be slightly different from the Togetic. Comments?

My wording there was a little ambiguous- I created the snorlax set, WPM made that comment when commenting on my team in the rating center. Since netbattle doesn't work for me, I have yet to test it.

I think the Kabutops is different enough, isn't the standard something like Swords Dance, Brick Break, Rock Slide and Return?

I might be able to test some sets in GSC and Stadium 2, but it may be awhile until I have some spare time (Busy with Mew Glitch listing)

Also nobody gave a rate on the Slightly Standard Raichu Set I posted awhile ago (page before this one).

I'm not sure on the Blissey Set, doesn't it seem slightly standard (other than the Healer/Tank set).

Oh, sorry about missing your Raichu. I think it's okay. Go ahead and test both the Kabutops and the Raichu, Venu/WPM.

The Blissey isn't standard, is it? The standard one is the Heal Bell/Aromatherapy, Counter, Seismic Toss and Softboiled one.

Hey guys, hey guys!!! :D I have working NetBattle now!

If you want to battle me, I'm there under the name papersun87, or my Tester Name, which is papersun87 (Test).

Anyhoo, I just tested the Kabutops. It worked great until it went up against this hacker with EQ on his Aerodactyl. Lemme test it a bit more. And does someone want to post that Raichu set again?

Behold puny mortals, the Anti-Ninjask!

{gardevoir} @ Lefties | (+Attack, -Sp. Defense)
Ability: Trace (This is THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of the Anti-Ninjask)
EVs: 252 Speed; 252 Attack; 6 HP
~Mimic
~Psychic/T-Bolt
~Destiny Bond
~W-O-W

Ninjask will Sub until it B-Passes. Gard will Trace Speed Boost, so it'll be faster than whatever Ninjask passes too (95% of the time it's T-Tar or Metagross). The Special attack for offense, and Mimic (for EQ, since T-Tar and Metagross are both weak to it. W-O-W to lower the attack of the Pokemon that gets the B-Pass.
