"i had a vision that lord steelven was trapped in a cage on hoth, he looked as if he would soon die from the cold" raziel said, "and don't worry, i can look after myself" he said as he walked over to the door, "i won't be long havec, could you get the medical droids ready for when i get back" he said, raziel then ran out of the room and into shuttlebay 1, he then got into his ship and started up the boot up sequence, his ship then rose out of the shuttleport, "initiate warpdrive" raziel said to the computer, "warpdrive initiated" the computer said, raziel then flipped a switch and the ship disappeared in a flash of light in the direction of hoth.

Avenger sighed, those Bounty Hunters, always jumping into things he thought. He looked up at the rest of them around the table and said "Hmm... I certainly hope he'll be safe... he might be running headfirst into a trap." He shook his head but then said happily, "I needn't worry he's perfectly capable of taking care of himself. Anyway to lunch, what will you be slaying for us today, Lord Havec?"

Raziel soon reached hoth, he scanned the surface from the air for any trace of the cage, then he saw it, he landed the ship and rushed over to steelven, "don't worry i'll get you out of here" raziel said as he drew his lightsaber, he then tryed to cut open the cage, but the cage was barely damaged, "ok, i have an idea, you might want to take cover though" he said to steelven as he ran back to his ship and armed the lasers.

Even as he was sitting at the table waiting for Havec to make her decision a vision flashed through Avenger's mind. At first it was just the blinding snow, whirling about in chaotic patterns. Slowly a cage came into view, the cyborg master sitting inside it. Avenger saw Raziel walking across to the cage, methodically hacking at sections of the cage with his lightsaber, but to no avail. Raziel said something to Steelven, a warning of some sort, and ran back to his ship. He jumped into the cockpit, armed the lasers, but there was something he hadn't realised. Nearby, in a small snowdrift, a young man was hidind in an outfit that matched the snow, unseen by both Sith. You could tell by the lightsaber at his side that he was a Jedi. On the side of the ship that faced the Jedi a small light blinked. Panic flashed through Avenger's mind when he saw that it was a small explosive device. So it was a trap! thought Avenger. Frantically he tried to send a warning to Raziel, even a prickle on the back of the ex-bounty hunter's neck would be sufficient. He snapped his eyes open and said to the assembled, "Raziel and Master Steelven are in grave danger!"

"I suspect you are right, young Aven" replied Havec, nodding, "I have never received strong visions, but from Raziel's frantic departure… His ship is fast, he may already be there, is there anything you could do to help?"

As she spoke, she walked about, gathering plates and utensils for the meal. She set five places, just in case, and took a jar filled with long red sticklike objects from a shelf. She gathered a few into a bowl and set them in the center of the table. "Appetizers" she said, by means of explination. "Please, help yourself." One of the stick-appetizers twitched a little, and another one blinked.

"I had another vision," said Avenger quickly, "It was of Hoth, again, both Steelven and Raziel were there. Raziel was about to blow a hole in the cage that housed Steelven by using his ship's lasers, but there were two things he failed to notice... a thermal detonator attached to the side of his ship and a Jedi hiding in a snowdrift nearby. I need to get a message to him quickly, but Hoth is mush too far away... perhaps if we combined our powers it might be possible." He looked across at the other two hopefully. Even though Riven did not have any force powers to speak of even his presence in the message would allow it to carry farther. Absent mindedly Avenger reached across the table for one of the stick-like creatures, and crunched it in his powerful jaws.

Raziel was about to blow open the cage when he sensed something, a bomb, "but how did it get on my ship?" he thought outloud, he then rushed outside, and he saw it, a thermal detonator, he quickly used a force grip and ripped it off of his ship he then threw the detonator as far as he could in a different direction, it exploded but luckily far away from him or steelven, he then sensed something again, a jedi, raziel looked around, he saw nothing, but wait that snow drift, it was the most likely place, he then directed a force grip in the direction of the snowdrift, he had got something he pulled it to his direction, he was right it was a jedi, "what do you want jedi?" raziel asked, the jedi did not answer, "what do you want?" raziel asked again, this time more forcefully, again the jedi did not answer, he just stood there, "fine if you won't answer, you will die" raziel said coldly as he launched a force lightning at the jedi, the jedi tryed toblock it with his lightsaber, but the force of the blast knocked it out of his hands, "obviously this is a padawan" raziel thought as the attack hit the jedi, and this time raziel would not stop until the jedi was dead, raziel watched the jedi scream and writh in agony, a slight smile appeared on raziel's face, the jedi then stopped screaming and writhing, raziel stopped the attack, and the jedi fell to the ground, dead, raziel then walked back to his ship, checking for bombs first, he then got into the ship and activated the forcefield, he then charged the lasers again and blew a hole in the cage.

"At my planet's core, Aven, there was a large supply of a very rare crystal, one that reacts when any other crystal of its kind is altered. I have one such dimenthium crystal in my lightsaber, and I have in the past given Lord Steelven similar pieces. With such a powerful natural transmitter in place, your voice may be louder than you realize" she said calmly, pulling a bow and quiver from what looked like a writing desk. "They shall, I'm sure, return at any moment- and we'd better have some lunch ready to greet them with. I'm sure they'll be famished."

"I certainly hope you are right," said Avenger, "so what is for lunch? Quite honestly I'm famished. I haven't had anything to eat since the infirmary and most of that was used to feed the wall. Also I am wondering... what is down that corridor you showed us behind the tapestry earlier. I know of all the secret passages and traps in the Jedi Temple, and I would like the same intimacy with this place." Avenger reached across and took another one of the stick creatures, nibbling at it slowly, hiding his true hunger. "Waht are these things anyway?" He said, indicating the creature in his claws, "they are absolutely delicious!"

"Here, why don't I show you the answer to both those questions" she said, pushing back the tapestry again. "I have my secrets, but this is not one I refuse to share, and a meal tastes better when you help to prepare it. Come, I'll show you the last Red Forest in the galaxy." With that, she stepped into the dark tunnel, waiting for her guest to follow.

Avenger stood up, saying to himself that he was ready for whatever amazing she was about to show him. He wasn't too sure about this, though, and growled nervously. "I can't wait." He said honestly and put his legs back on the ground again, easing his tail up from behind him. He turned around, and gave Havec a small smile as he passed by her into the corridor.

The tunnel twisted several times, but after the first bend it was dimly lit by red, glowing mushrooms that grew on the sides of the floor. It lead deep into the asteroid, where lifetime sentence prisoners had been dumped in vast hollowed out caverns and forced to fend for themselves in the wall-less prison.

This cavern, however, was different. Havec had taken great care in her cloning of specimens from her home world, long since destroyed, and had recreated the environment of one of her native red jungles with rather stunning accuracy. Lit by artificial 'sunlight' coming from the cave ceiling far above, the forest was bright and humid and red, thanks to the large amounts of iron in the soil. Small six-legged mammals scurried away as Havec entered from the tunnel, following her guest.

Though Avenger had seen some amazing sights in his life, nothing could have prepared him for this. As he entered he drew a sharp breath.

Towering, red-leafed trees reached up to indeterminate heights. Vines and creepers covered the ground, walls, and trees throughout the area. The grass below his feet was soft and gave off a comforting warmth. The "sunlight" that came through the canopy speckled the ground and gave the whole place a mottled-red look. The running beasts looked plump and healthy and seemed not to notice that their forset was inside a huge cavern.

As if by instinct Avenger jumped up to one of the tall trees, and wrapped his long tail halfway around the thick trunk. He spent the next few moments leaping from tree to tree and swinging from vines. Even though his species evolved on asteroids he had often travelled to other planets and had spent a large amount of time in his youth in a jungle on Kashyyk.

"This is amazing!' He shouted down to the lord. He knew he must have looked a little a silly leaping around like a child, but he was experiencing a joy that he hadn't felt in years, save when he cured his low moments with sniffs of crushed Kanvis leaves.

After a while he got tired and leaped down to land heavily in front of Havec. "So are these the beasts you plan to slay?" He asked, waving a stick he found as one of the plump, six-legged creatures.

"Not quite, there's a particular species of avian in the forest that has just finished its reproductive cycle, such that it is now safe to hunt the males without harming their children. Keep your eye out for a large blue-winged insect, the adult form of the stick-larvae you were eating earlier" she said, smiling brightly. Her wings hung half-open, fanning the air slightly as she breathed in deeply to immerse herself in her forest.

Avenger bent his knees and sunk one to the ground. He bent forward and sniffed the air near the ground. Before, in master Havec's chambers, he had smelled the sticklike creature and immediately memorised it's scent. He suspected that the adult form of the creature would not smell too different, and used his powerful sense of smell to search out the location of one of these creatures.

Quickly he found the scent and set a fast, but quiet, pace along the ground. He went on a complicated path, occasionly stopping to sniff the air once again. He sensed that he was getting nearer. After maybe a minute more of searching he found a nest. It was nestled on a low branch, surrounded by red leaves. The exact insect Havec had described was sitting next to it, preparing to fly off.

Avenger looked back, noticing that he had left the entrance far behind. This did not worry him, his sense of direction was very acute, and even if he did get lost he could use the force to guide him. He could even use the force right now to trap the small creature, but that would take the fun out of it. He crept silently up behind the insect. He flexed his fingers, ready to grab it quickly. But just as he lept to grab it it took off, flying high into the trees. This didn't deter the Drake, though, and he lept after it. He jumped from branch to trunk to vine. He curled his tail around branches and swung off them, using momentum to send him flying. His powerful legs sprung him off trunks, and soon he was pulling a steady pace behind the fast flying creature.

Slowly the treetops came closer, and still Avenger was only a few inches behind the flying beast. He swung himself of a brance and went flying, out past the leaves and into the fake sunshine. He could still not see the top of the cavern. He looked down at the insect to see it looking up at him. It seemed to be laughing at him, saying "well you made a mess of that!" In reply Avenger flipped over and plunged down towards the insect, grabbing it around the wings. Now he was in freefall, who knows how high above the ground? He plunged beneath the canopy and saw the ground coming up to meet him. He could even vaguely see Havec standing down there. He lashed his claw out towards a tree trunk but even the sharp ends could get no hold of the hard bark. Desperately he lashed out one more time, hoping to get a hold of something. He just managed to grab on to a vine and it swung him in a long arc. He let go and rolled across the ground, coming to a stop at Havecs feet. He smiled faintly and held up his prize. The insect struggled to get free, but Avenger's grip was far too strong. He stood up snd sighed, "well that was exciting!"

"An excellent catch, too" she replied, tapping the insect lightly. "They're mildly poisonous as adults, however, so I wouldn't recommend eating it. Their wings, however, make an excellent pale blue dye when prepared correctly."

Havec turned her eyes to the canopy, spreading her wings. "I'll return in a moment, I believe I've spotted what we came here for" she said, loading a simple wooden arrow into her bow and taking off.

Raziel ran out of his ship and towards the cage, when the smoke cleared, there was hardly any damage, just a small hole, he couldn't even fit a finger through it, "damn it, i bet this things made of adamantium, and thats nearly indestructible" he said as he put his hands on his hips, "i'm going to go get help" he said to steelven as he took of in his ship.

Raziel landed his ship and ran into the temple and headed for havecs quarters, he ran in and no-one was there, he then sensed them, they were in the tunnel behind the tapestry, he then found the tapestry and ran into the tunnel behind it, after a few minutes he came out into a huge forest, trees with red and orange leaves, he then turned around and saw a huge insect eyeing him up, "oh so you want to dance" he said as he drew his lightsaber and jumped on top of the insect, but the insect flew high up into the canopy and threw him off it, he then used his tail to grab onto a branch, "oh now i'm angry" raziel said as he swung of the tree branch and cut off the creatures head, he then withdrew his lightsaber and started swinging in between trees, he then saw havec and avenger, he then jumped down from the tree and landed in front of them, "damn you've got some big bugs in here" he said as he stood up, "anyway, i need help getting steelven out of that cage, its made of adamantium and its damn near indestructible" he said as he brushed some dust of his leather suit.

((Kryten, could you please slow your character down a little? He's not going to be able to speed about the galaxy that quickly, no matter how fast his ship is. Wait for Registeel to make a reply post, his character hasn't had a chance to react to the blast.))

((Fine forget about the post then, just pretend it never existed))

Avenger watched Havec fly off. When she disappeared from sight he looked down at his catch. It twitched slightly, as if in a final effort to escape. He still felt hungry but he didn't dare take a bite of the insect, after hearing that it was poisonous. He sat down heavily against the trunk of a tree, stomach grumbling. He picked a leaf off the tree behind him and began gnawing at it absent-mindedly, waiting for Havec to come back.

A rather large bird, roughly the size of a large peacock, soon tumbled to the ground, pierced by one of Havec

"That bird looks delicious!" Said Avenger, running his lips over his pointed teeth. He bent down to feel over the feathers. They were very smooth and shiny, proof that the animal had been at prime health. "It's amazing," he said, "that creatures can live so well in an artificial habitat such as this! You've done very well, Lord Havec. Well, shall we go inside... but we are inside... let's just go back to your quarters." He finished hastily. He picked up the huge insect, walked back through the tunnel, and held the tapestry at the other end open, waiting for havec to come with her catch.

Havec followed, picking off some of the bird

"As Anakin Skywalker once said, 'Evil is a point of view, from my point of view the Jedi are evil' and I think think this still rings true. If the Jedi are willing to destroy this place and all it holds then they indeed are evil, from my point of view," said Avenger, trying to sound wise. As they entered he crossed the room and walked up to the table. When he reached it he turned and said, "so how shall we eat it, raw or cooked?"
