Postin' from my DSi, because everyone else is doing it. The browser kinda sucks because the lack of memory, but I guess it's alright. Yeah, so....

I wouldn't mind getting one....I suppose when I need the gba slot I'll just borrow my sister's Lite.

I finally got my login to work on this browser. I am loving the DSi! There's so many neat things to do with thing, especially with the camera. I took a ton of wacky photos that I'll post later on.

I have enough money, but I only got my DS Lite about a year ago, and its fine except that charging it takes longer than it should. Should I buy one?

It looks good, but I think I'll make sure I should actually get it.

Is the Internet fast? Is the camera good or bad?

Just put it this way, Patchy. The camera is .8 megapixels. So, it's definitely not that good. I would say that the internet is decent from what I've heard, but I wouldn't guarantee it. I might get one seeing as the don't cost much more that the DS Lite... I think the camera would be pseudo-bliss for a time then get a bit boring. And yet, I do love the fact that I have Wi-Fi spread around my house like a happy fog and can utilize the DSi as my tiny little computer

i love the dsi. its so fun. (hahha excuse my opinion at the begging of the thread). I recorded me and two of my cousins and saved it high pitched and we sound like chipmunks! (apparently im simon from alvin and the chipmunks) I like the smooth surface for no fingerprints. is it just me or is the browser slow?

Tell me about this internet acess thing Is it fast or slow? DO YOU NEED A ROUTER? Is it worth not having a GBA slot?

It's exactly the same as the previous two models... you need a wireless 802.11g signal of some sort. All WiFi has to have a source, so if there are no sources near you, you're going to have to provide your own signal via a router. It's been that way since the DS release.


As I've said before, there are already enough devices that legally allow you to play GBA games, so the GBA slot issue really shouldn't be a concern anymore. Suck it up.

Once I get about $40 more, I'll have enough for a DSi, but I'm DEFINITELY going to keep my DS lite. I need a way to transport pokemon and connect my pokemon games. Besides, my DS lite has a messed up touch screen. I alrweady have GBC, GBA:SP, NDS(lite), WIi, and Gamecube, but I need a DSi because they're cool. I got my gamecube about a eyar after the Wii came out, don't ask why my mom wouldn't let me get a Wii. I need a DSi! Blue!

this is sorta off topic, but does anyone here know how i can put music on my SD card to play it on my DSi? the manual says i need to put it in the slot on my computer but it doesnt have one. help me out please?

There's a special thing you can get at alsmost any store that has data chips etc. like CIrcuit City, Best Buy, etc. and you can put in most regular SD chips in it. My dad has one, and you plug it into a slot on the COmputer (not monitor) under the power button, I htink. It's like $15 I think, I don't remember.

I have a question about the web browser on the DSi, is it good okay, or horrible?

I'd think it's ok-good, because it's ok on PSP but I don't think it's as good on DSi, but not bad either. I plan on going on my favorite site that my mom won't let me go on on the computer on my DSi when I get it. ...can anyone spare $40?

One last question, is the DSi's web browser capable of making posts in a forum, like here for example?

I'm pretty sure you can, because I plan on using the chatboards on Neopets via DSi, so I presume you can do almost anything you can on the PC just a little more difficult.

So you plan on doing it so most obviously its possible? So you can make things happen just bu wanting them, that must be nice. How does that work for you?

To DarkMegaMan, both R_R and Krisp said that they have posted here using their DSi so I would guess that its possible. And you can't do anything you can with your PC, since the DSi doesn't have java you can't watch youtube videos on it.

That is awesome, although the Youtube videos part is sad, but, it can't be perfect .
