I started falling behind half of the way through season six, but I made a point of getting caught up last week before the finale, and I'm really sad to see it go. I know they are in talks for another season, but I can't picture myself watching Scrubs without Braff.

If you want to see it online, ABC has it up, or if you don't feel like installing what ABC wants you to, it's relatively easy to find a link on movieforumz.

I can honestly say that this episode surpassed My Screw-Up in quality.

I cried afterwards, but that was probably also partly because I rushed to the crapper when it ended.

Scrubs is the bomb! They're finishing?? OMG! I can't believe that. I live in the UK, so I'm a little behind. =]
Yeah, Scrubs without Braff would be a little wierd. I mean, who'd do the narrative? Elliot??

I think that it has finished and there wont be another series without Braff.

Mainly because at the end of "My Finale" they showed the crew and that and after a scene they would say:

".....And thats Donald's (Chris Turk) final scene..."

".....Thats Sarah's (Elliot Reed) last scene people......."

or somin like that. thats what i think.

I didn't start watching Scrubs until a couple years ago, but the episodes were really engaging and I caught up fast. The last two seasons didn't do it as much for me, they had their moments but overall it didn't quite feel like the show I was used to. That sounds harsh but it was a hell of a lot better than certain shows that run far longer than they should. Having said that,

I really enjoyed the finale, with the obligatory tying up of loose ends and all.... I don't think I could watch a 9th season without Zach Braff though. If the writers want to continue a similar show they should at least change the name, as J.D. was (obviously) a huge part of the show's personality.

I like scrubs, but I barely get to watch it since my dad hates the show. Can someone refresh my memory of who Braff is? I can never remember names very well.

Braff also wrote, starred in, and directed 2004's Garden State, a coming of age film which brought him his first financial success and critical acclaim.

In scrubs, he plays an undergoing accieving young doctor who always tries to impress peopl and is very sensitive (or feminine). He went to med. school with his best mate for years, Chris Turk (Donald Faison) who is a surgeon at sacred heart where they work. J.D goes through many problems from the start, including: making an enemy with the Janitor, annoying his mentor (thats what he wants him to be) and having a very difficult love life (mainly with the same person Eliot Reed (sarah chalke) throughout, but also) with many different women.
