"Urk! Um, er-no! Of course nothing's wrong! Why would you um-think that?" His words started to get all messed up, and it was kinda obvious he was hiding something. Oh geez! She's trying to figure it out! She can't know, or else I'm done for! He very slowly started to back up, to avoid being face-to-face with Havec.

"Have I ever told you, M'lord, that you're a terrible actor?" asked Havec, smiling as she joked. "You know I don't read your mind if I can help it, but they way you're 'hiding' whatever it is it's not going to stay hidden for long, and if it's a problem you know I can help you through it" she added, becoming a little more serious at the end.

"...I...can't..." I want to tell her. I really want to tell her. I'm just too afraid of what would happen. There are so many bad reactions that can occour. He started to tremble a bit. His alien heart began pulsating much faster.

The falconlike Sith lord bowed her head, looking contemplative, then looked back up. She reached out one talonlike hand to rest it softly on the cyborg's arm. "You and I are going to go for a walk, and let the droids work in peace for a bit. You are going to get something off your chest, and then we're both going to go make sure the younglings aren't bouncing off the walls" she told him, pretty much ordering it, but in her usual polite sort of way.

He silently obeyed her. He started to walk with her, extremely nervous of what is going to happen. How can I say this to her? Even with no one around, It will be extremely hard to say. Sigh... there's no escaping it once we reach an area where we're alone.

Despite having been a former prison, the Sith Temple had been refurbished into a relatively nice living space. Havec soon found a large bench made of dark red stone, and sat herself down on it, shooing away a curious droid. "Now it doesn't take a master of the Force to know there's something you need to tell me" she said in a matter-of-factly sort of way. Her wings made a sort of rustling noise, which would have indicated to any other member of her species that she was quite nervous, but she'd taken some great care to keep such signs from becoming common knowledge. Steelven knows me, though she thought, hushing her wings with some considerable effort.

"I..." He just couldn't spit it out. He was nervous to the max, and afraid of losing his friendship with Havec. It's come this far, and it's only come this far because I've hidden this for too long. I can't keep it secret any longer. There's no turning back. Steelven let out a deep breath. "Alright. It's time I stopped hiding." He let out yet another heavy sigh. "Havec, we've been on the Sith Council for quite some time. I realized this early on, but I couldn't tell you. It became harder and harder to keep this hidden with each passing day. And now, it's come to this. Havec, I...I......I..." He just couldn't get those final, difficult, and amazing words out. "I... love you..." ......I finally said it. After all this time, it is finally known. But now... I'm a goner... He looked away, at the ground, too afraid to look again at the woman he had just confessed to.

Havec smiled, and placed one talon gently on his shoulder. "When I was a child, I always dreamed the first man to say those words to me would bring me the head of a Grii'klar beast he slew in battle. Given that the Grii'klar are extinct, I think I can forgive you for letting me down on that particular fantasy, but I do wish you hadn't kept this bottled up for so long."

He was suprised to hear her say that. "I... I always thought that you wouldn't get that close with another species... but the biggest thing standing in my way was... me. The mechanical me. For so long my biological self tried to convince me to tell you, but my mechanical self just thought that it was pointless to try." The past minutes seemed like hours to him. "I'm sorry that I'm not... what you expected." Steelven wasn't a slimy alien, and he didn't look like a robot, but he wasn't at all what many considered handsome. He thought of himself as a misfit, and he thought no one liked to look at him. She definitely doesn't like me that way. She probably only likes me as friend, a horrifying cyborg friend.

She put her other hand on his other shoulder, arms outstretched, so she could be sure that he would look her in the face. "Steelven, you know as I do that love is the most powerful emotion either side of the Force can offer. You must promise me now you won't keep secrets like this from me again, even if you think I wouldn't understand- the greatest loves in our history have so frequently lead to betrayal when secrets are kept" she said, completely serious and almost a little desperate as she spoke.

Avenger blearily opened one eye, the right one, to see where he was. There were familar bright lights along the ceiling and shining white walls. He sighed, it was the infirmary. How many times must I come here? he thought, the Sith must think I'm some kind of weakling, who can't take care of himself. He tried opening his left eye but it was completely numb, and there was absolutely no movement. He sat up, feeling the pain in his arm intensify. He looked down at his arm; it was twisted at an odd angle, and the doctors hadn't even put a brace on it. He looked to the end of the bed and saw a mirror, and his reflected face. He couldn't help but scream. The left side of his face was completely mutilated. It was all crushed up and there were thousands of cuts riddling the surface. There were even some small shards of glass that refused to come out. His jaw hung limp, and he could see that most of his teeth were smashed to bits. He put his claw up to his face and felt the cratered and scratched surface. His hand felt his face, but his face didn't feel his hand. Frantically he began rubbing his face, trying to get it to feel again. In desperation, he even began scratching it, pushing his claws deep into his tortured flesh. Suddenly a nurse droid came in, saw what he was doing, and grabbed his arm, trying to push it down and secure it. Using his force powers, Avenger threw the droid to the other end of the room and destroyed it. Another one came at him, but he reaced over to his bedside table and picked up his lightsaber. The blood red blade flashed out, and he stabbed the robot through, right to the hilt. Swarms of them entered but he fought each one back, in anger and hatred. "Look at me!" he screamed, "look at me! I'm a deformed monster!" Alarms went off through the station but he didn't care, he just kept on making the droids into scrap metal.

Raziel heard alarms go off through the temple, "emergency in the medical bay, three droids down" a mechanical voice said, "oh god" raziel said as he ran off to the medical bay, he arrived and saw that aven was destroying everything in sight, "i'm sorry i had to do this" raziel said as he started to glow and copies of him appeared, "RESTRAIN HIM" raziel shouted to the copies, raziels copies then started to move towards aven.

"I'll kill you all!" Avenger screamed as he clicked his lightsaber in half, and flipped out two metal plates to make the two halves whole. Now he had two lightsabers. Once again he pressed a small button on each lightsaber and two more lightsabers came out. He joined the two at each end, and his tail came around to grab the newly fashioned double-bladed lightsaber. Now he was a deadly war machine. He began cutting his way through the droids trying to restrain him, and soon came face to face with one of Raziels copies. Avenger made a feint attack with his left handed lightsaber then brought his tail around behind the copy and stabbed it through the back. Avenger didn't even feel remorse as he let the limp body slide of his lightsaber. He rushed out the door, still cutting the droids to pieces, and flung it open, rushing out into the hallway. He didn't know where he was going, but he was going somewhere.

Raziel watched as aven smashed through the door and into the hallway, he ran off to go find havec and steelven, they were sitting on a red stone bench, "guys, you know i'd hate to break up this moment but avens going on a rampage, and we need to protect the younglings" raziel said as he drew his lightsaber.

Avenger continued to run, blindly toward any goal. Suddenly he realised his broken arm was working, perhaps the strength that he got from his hatred pushed him to use the broken arm. He was amazed at what powers he could get from being a Sith. He rounded a corner and saw Raziel, Havec, and Steelven all around a red stone bench. A small voice in his head said "remember your destiny... DESTROY THE SITH!" He leaped at the three, light sabers flashing. His despair, hatred, confusion, and anger all fueled the fires in his soul, giving him amazing power. He even suspected that he was stronger than any of the three of them. He brought his lightsabers down, one as a horizontal swing at Raziels neck with his red lightsaber, another as a stab to Steelven's chest with his orange double bladed lightsaber, and the final one as a hack at Havec's legs with his golden lightsaber.

Raziel dodged the swing from aven and fired a force push at him.

With inhuman speed, Avenger grabbed Raziel's wrist just before the force push was fired, twisted his arm around, and pushed him to the ground. Avenger put his left foot on Raziel's back and pulled the arm sharply upwards. There was a loud crack, and Raziel's arm was broken. A final kick to his chest knocked the ex-bounty hunter out.

Raziel felt his arm break and a kick to his chest, he slowly slipped into unconciousness, he heard words being spoken: "you can do this, come on, kill him, KILL HIM", raziel then became concious, he saw aven standing there, he pretended he was still knocked out and used a force grip from his robotic arm began to choke aven, "YOU'LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID!!!!, YOU'LL PAY" raziel shouted at aven as he began to choke him harder.

Havec jumped over the blade aimed at her legs, simotaniously lashing out with her thick tail to veer her attacker's orange blade away from Steelven, although it flashed perilously close to the cyborg.

She backed off a couple of steps, then called to the injured Aven. "Will you destroy the younglings, too, when you are done with us?" she questioned, "and the padawans, and the villagers who would protect the full Sith knights who, in many places, protect them from Senate oppression?" she put her powers with the Force into the plea, pushing bright emotions into her voice as she attacked, in her own mental way, the rampaging ex-Jedi. "Will you then destroy our home, and the Red Forest at its heart?"

Raziel released his force grip and doged the flame "Havec i'll go and see if the younglings are alright, that force grip should have slowed him down" raziel said as he ran down the stairs and towards the youngling dormitries.

Avenger refused to listen to the pleas of Havec, and kicked out at Steelven. Suddenly he felt the choking force around his throat, but this only made him more angry. He lifted his arm and looked down with fiery eyes at Raziel. In is curled fist flames began to gather, they were a deep blue, and surprisingly cold. He let the fire grown until it was the size and shape of a pit droid's head and then threw it forcefully at Raziels head. He was confident it would not miss, especially at this close range, and grinned evilly. He looked back at Steelven to see what his swift kick had done.

Havec's left wing was bent down in an odd direction, clearly broken and stretched out and positioned in front of Steelven, right where Aven had aimed his attack. "Please, Aven, don't do this to us" she said, "none of us want to fight you." As she spoke, she drew her lightsaber reluctantly, and used her free hand to remove a silver hairpin from her feathery hair. Five bracelets on her two arms simultaneously snapped open, then hovered around to where she held her hairpin.

Avenger snapped his head around to look into Havec's eyes. He saw all the peace that was contained there, and it angered him. Why can't I be so calm? Why can't I be so beautiful? Why must this all happen to me? he thought. He decided on an attack taht would wipe the kindness from those beautiful eyes. He looked directly at them, and for a second his eyes flashed. His presence sudden;y attacked her mind, trying to force it's way in. He wanted to cause her as much mental pain as possible, and decided he would show her all the painful visions he had experienced, show her all his terrible memories. She's always acted so calm when I've told her what I saw, maybe she will understand better when she experiences my pain!

"That's what you need, then?" she asked him, pausing as she near effortlessly held back his attack on her mind, a skill she had honed for decades. "Very well, Aven, I'll let you in, but you're taking something back." And with that, she made the channel two ways, taking in the visions he was trying to show her, but sending back her own images- finding a bright purple crystal in a calm clearing as a child, planting the first tree in her Red Forest, watching a youngling use his talent with the Force to heal a scrape his friend had received in play battle. Deception was her art, and sending images like this was one of those skills she had practiced for years- she knew full well he could defeat her in combat, so she poured the heart and soul of her calmness into her return message. I can show you this, how to channel your emotions like this she added, half sensing, half guessing his thoughts.

Raziel ran into the dormitries and found all the younglings huddled up in a corner, "whats happening master?" one of them questioned, master?, i haven't been called that in years raziel thought to himself, "a guest has gone in a bit of a rampage, me, master havec and master steelven are trying to restrain him" raziel said, all the younglings then looked terrified, "don't worry young ones, we won't let anything happen to you" raziel reassured them, they then calmed down, "now is there anyway that we can protect you?" he asked, "yes master, you can activate the forcefields that seal the dormitries" another youngling said as he pointed to a control panel by the door, "ok" raziel said as he beckoned the youngling forward, the youngling walked up to him, "now i need you to activate the forcefield for me" raziel said to the youngling, the youngling nodded, raziel then stood the other side of the door, "what do i press now master?" the youngling asked, "alpha, zappa, 145" raziel said, the youngling did as he was told and a blue forcefield appeared across the door, all the younglings then mouthed to him: "good luck", he then did a quick salute and ran back towards where aven was.
