((Funny tidbit, actually- one of the quirks that I know about Havec is that she specifically took the time to make sure the ventilation ducts were too small to crawl through. He could teach a youngling to activate it from the inside, though, while he was on the other side ))

The happy images surprised Avenger but he pushed back. He showed her images of the villiage he had destroyed, the countless people lying dead on the ground, stainig the dirt with their blood. He showed children pleading for mercy, but he slew them like animals. He showed her the image of betrayal from his padawan, and transferred her the love that had been destroyed after that moment. He showed the sadness he felt at Luke Skywalker's funeral. He poured the images of the robotic soldiers killing anyone who got in their way. He transferred as much pain as possible into her, trying to defeat her kindness with his evil. He showed her the false high that the countless drugs had given him, and the pain he endured as he tried to get away from them. Do you understand the horror that has filled my life now, Havec. The few moments have joy have been overwhelmed by the sadness. Suddenly he found something surprising. It was a memory, quite recent. She was sitting with Steelven, and they were talking of love. Suddenly a new emotion overcame him: jealousy. He sent a fresh wave of death and hatred then snapped open his eyes and jumped at her to tackle her to the ground.

Raziel arrived just in time to see aven try to tackle havec, "oh no you don't" raziel said as he used a forcegrab on aven and trew him into a wall, "aven, now you will be put out of your misery" raziel whispered as he drew his lightsaber.

Despite the images being thrown at her, Havec had trained to keep her emotions and her instincts separate. Aven's clumsy strike, fueled by anger, was easy enough to avoid by backing off. She showed him a new kind of image- watching amongst a few dozen others of her kind that she hardly knew, from a space shuttle looking down at her planet. Behind her, a Senate official explained that there was no immediate danger, and they were only evacuating a few children to keep the paranoid local government happy. Below her, through the viewport she was staring out, her planet was exploding. We do not always get what we want, but we take the bad and the good and strive forwards with it. If you linger on your pain, it will repeat its self- will killing me make you happier?

Still Avenger refused to listen, and the backstep was exactly as planned. Using his tail as a counter balance, he flipped up, orange lightsaber dragging across the ground spraying sparks. As he flew through the air his legs came out to kick Havec hard in the chest.

"I'm so sorry, Aven" she said, bringing her lightsaber up and across her chest, placing the blade between herself and the leaping ex-Jedi. "You still have much to learn, and you cannot defeat me if you remain angry."

"i was hoping it didn't have to come to this" raziel said as he started to glow, about 30 copies of him then appeared, "if he tries to attack you defend yourselves" raziel shouted at the copies as they drew their lightsabers, "you're surrounded aven, give yourself up" raziel called.

Riven was dumbfounded. One minute, everything was normal, or at least normal as it was going to get in here. The next Avenger's gone insane and Havec is about to fight him. Plus Raziel just somehow made 30 copies of himself.

"I'm just going to stay back here...there isn't much I can do at the moment..."

At the speed he was travelling Avenger couldn't stop himself. Even though he manage to block most of Havec's saber his right leg came around and was swiftly cut off. He fell to the ground, writhing in pain. He looked up, straight into Havec's kind eyes. Suddenly he calmed, and his anger ceased. But as his powerful anger went his pain returned. His left arm was suddenly on fire with painful pins nad needles; he screamed in pain an sank again into unconciousness.

When he awoke he was in the infirmary again. He opened his one remaining eye and saw a medical droid peering into his face. "Well, he's awake," it said, "unfortuantely his arm will have to be amputated, since there is no way to heal it. You were lucky, though, with your head. Your race's brain is located far back in the skull so it was unharmed. The bad news is that we will have to take off most of the left side of your face. The scars will never heal and we believe there is a deep infection. Also the nerves were completely destroyed, and will never heal. As an added bonus your eye was completely decimated, but since it was dangerously infected as well we removed it already." The droid let the words sink in. Avenger would be completely changed forever. At least this might bring him closer to Steelven. Suddenly he remembered Havecs memory of her conversation with Steelven. The jealousy welled up inside him and he sat up quickly, looking around the room.

Havec stood near the door, watching the droids quietly. "I'm so sorry, Aven" she said, "for everything- the visions you have been getting are truly frightening, and to get them without warning… Before you attacked, I tried to put a blocker on them in your mind, so you could better control when they come. I… I don't think it worked, but with your permission I could try again."

Avenger looked over at Havec, and once again her eyes calmed him. "if you wish," he said, "but I think I would understand them better if I took them as they came, rather than try to procrastinate. In other matters I have something to talk to you about. But why do you stand so far away as if i was some kind of monster? I know I tried to kill you and many others but I think what I have to say next could explain it."

Raziel ran down to the medical bay, with about 30 of his copies still with him, he kept them around just in case aven had another episode, he walked into the medical bay and looked at aven, poor guy, he's been through so much in his life raziel thought to himself, he glowed again and the 30 copies that were with him disappeared, a medical droid then whizzed up to him and held his left arm, raziel winced in pain, "sir your arm is broken in four places" the droid said to him "you need immeadiate treatment", the droid then led him over to and examining table and raziel sat down, the droid whizzed off and then came back with a bandage, a sling and some purple liquid in a cup, "drink this it will help heal the bone" the droid said, raziel drank the liquid and felt an immediate burning sensation in his arm, the droid then wrapped the bandage around his forearm and then put the arm in the sling, "all done" the droid said to him, he then stood up from the examining table and glanced once more at aven before he exited the medical bay.

"The droids ordered me back- they've been whizzing all over the place and I was interfering" she replied, stepping forwards. Her left wing had a metal brace that held it out, making it difficult for her to maneuver it around the objects in the room. "If they think you're well enough to have visitors, though…" one of the droids nodded, so she took a seat, ready to listen.

Riven took a look at everyone in the medical bay. Apperently he was the lucky one, not having a scratch on him...but only because he staryed away from everyone during the fight. He stayed right outside the room, as to not get in the way of the busy droids.

"Okay..." said Avenger, preparing to begin his story, "I do not know exactly what happened after I took off in the starfighter, but I began to have more visions. They caused me great pain and sadness. They were of the droid army that I showed you, perhaps of one that resided in the trade federation ships. I do not know if this vision was of the past, present, or future, but I know it was terrible, and the pain was of a magnitude that I've never experienced. But as this pain wracked my body an alien presence entered my mind, one that I've never met before. It began to sooth me, heal my mental wounds. Then it began to speak. It told me that my destiny was to destroy the Sith, I felt as if it was brainwashing me somehow. But your presence entered my mind and soothed me, at least for a while. When I awoke in the infirmary, I saw what I had become. I saw what had happened to my face. This horror raged through me, and I began to hack into my own face. The droids tried to restrain me, but this made me even angrier. I destroyed many of them, and one of Raziel's copies, then hurtled down the corridor. As I saw you three standing there, the voice came back and told me to fulfil my destiny. That is why I attacked. You could probably have warded off the anger, and have shrugged off this voice, but it was impossible for me. All of the pain and sadness and anger and hatred I've felt in my life filled me, and I attacked. You say I should go with the bad and the good and continue my life, but you have experienced much more good than I have. You've seen the amount of horror in my life, from childhood to right now my life has been filled with pain and sadness. No matter the amount of happy things that have happened they will always be greatly outweighted by the bad. You have had so much happiness though, you have seen children be kind and happy, you have seen them learn and grow. You have lived a life of happiness in this place, and even created your own fortress of solitude, that great forest. Even recently you have felt happy, like when you had that conversation with Steelven..." he ended here, with a taste of bitterness in his voice. He felt the jealousy flow through him again, and he looked away angrily, his eyes almost boring a hole through the wall.

Havec sighed, wondering what she could say to that. "I am a talented actor, Aven, and part of my job in the Sith is to seem more confident than I really am. I think, my friend, you overestimate me a little. Right now, your rage controls you, and some alien mind might well have influence over you at the moment- your anger needn't be something terrible, but you must find a constructive purpose for it. What are you really angry with, Aven?"

Avenger was surprised at how calm she seemed, and wondered at her inner emotions,"There are many things I am angry at. But foremost, I am angry at not being noticed. As a child with 1000 siblings you don't get much personal time with your mother. Skywalker was the first person to notice me and he died too quickly. I had to wait many years for a new master because they did not see my power. Even as I was entered into the council my ideas often went unheard or were simply brushed off, and I was never selected for missions. I was left idle for too long. Even my own padawan failed to see my worth, and the council didn't believe what I said about that unfortinate situation. Even as I come here my pain and my visions are brushed off as mere nothings. Hmm... but anger is not my only emotion. Confusion is another, hatred maybe, and even jealousy..." he wondered what his final words would imply, and then said hastily, "why must you hide your emotions constantly? You should let people get to know the real you, rather than this happy outside shell. What really goes on in your heart? It is unsafe to put up a constant charade, for you can begin to forget who you really are."

Raziel made his way down to the dormitries to see how the younglings were, he came to the doorway and saw that the droids had shut the forcefield off he walked in to find the younglings laughing and playing since they had some free time, but he saw one youngling being picked on by some others, he looked at the youngling, "no, its not possible" he whispered as he stared at the youngling, another of his kind, he walked over to the group that were picking on him, "hey come on guys, leave him alone" he said to the older younglings that were picking on him, the younglings immediatly ran off leaving the one of raziel's kind crying, "tell me little one, what is your name?" he asked the youngling, "my name is rahab" the youngling answered not looking at raziel, "rahab, thats a nice name, my brother had a son named rahab" raziel said to rahab, rahab then looked at him, "was his name kain?" rahab asked, "yes" raziel replied sounding a little confused, "uncle raziel" rahab said happily as he hugged raziel, raziel looked a little confused, he pulled out of the hug and looked at rahab, then it dawned on him, how could he have not remembered, "rahab" he said happily as he lifted rahab up with his free arm, "i haven't seen you since you were a baby, how could i have not realized" he laughed as he put rahab down, "what do you say we go for a little walk" raziel said as he took rahabs hand and walked out of the dormitrie.

"I think then, Aven, you strive to make a difference in the world. The Jedi are numerous, and prone to missing the obvious talents of some" a tinge of bitterness in her voice indicated a personal experience of that sort with the Jedi. "You can see the future, a talent it takes some padawans years to hone. But you must pledge to seek fame through achievement, and not infamy, or you will most certainly be swallowed up by your darker emotions."

"Havec," said Avenger, "You are truly an amazing person. I can see why so many people can respect and love you, but I believe you are avoiding my question. What do you truly feel? You seem to be such a happy person, yet pent up emotions will only end in a broken bottle, as you have seen in my case." As they talked a droid began peeling off the left side of Avenger face, but he could barely feel it.

"I… I worry a lot more than it seems I do" said Havec quietly, "but I've learned how to control my emotions, and I have outlets for my negative ones. For awhile, when I was young, I was like you- destroying everything I could find, hoping to end my suffering by causing others the same pain. Then I began to realize- I didn't want revenge, I wanted improvement. I now work so that no one else will suffer as my people did, and that lets me put even my anger and my rage to work to create happiness. It's not something that happened overnight, it's something I had to work for, and it's a peace that you could find too."

"Hmm... perhaps you are right. I would love it if you could teach me. The Sith are very different to what the Jedi say about them." Suddenly Avenger face grew hot as a droid took a blowtorch to the left side. Without even noticing a thing, Avenger had already been "repaired." He lifted up the sheets to look at his leg. It was a robotic leg, but made to match the shape of his other leg. The feet were even the same, with three splayed toes and claws at the end. It also bent in the same way at the knees and moved how he wanted it to. He then looked across at his arm. It was exactly the same as his other arm, only all metal and wires. Then he looked up at the mirror, hoping he wouldn't be too hideous. What he saw surprised him. His eye was now a red globe, and as it was switched on he realised it had many advantages. The abilty to zoom and identify would prove very useful. The rest of his face was interesting though. The shape matched well, and all the parts worked the way the muscles had. His mouth was the best part though. He had a row of metallic fangs, even sharper than the ones he had before. They were deadly looking and glinted in the light. One long fang protruded from the front, just as it had before, and ended in a deadly sharp point. The droids had done an amazing job of replicating his face. "So," Avenger asked Havec, "how do I look?"

"As good as new" she replied, "my compliments to the doctor." The medical droid bowed, and muttered something about just doing his job. As she looked Aven over, a thought occurred to her. "I've a friend closer to the center of the solar system with a great interest in old technology from the Clone wars. If we're to find it before your visions come true, I can't think of a better expert to help us track the planet where this transport might be."

Raziel was walking along with rahab sat on his shoulders, "what do you say about helping me with a little task in my ship" raziel asked rahab, "that would be great uncle raziel" rahab replied happily, "ok, lets go find master havec and tell her you're gonna help me" raziel said as he walked towards the medical bay, he arrived at the medical bay after about three minutes and saw havec talking to aven, "wow aven you look great, as good as new, by the way havec, young rahab here is going to help me with the search for that blockade ship" raziel said indicating rahab who was still sat on his shoulders.
