Which game will have which Lati in it? I've seen sites say different things and I'd like to know what is correct.

Celebi will be an event (not sure if it's WiFi or not) and the birds will be obtainable after all 16 badges in their Kanto places (other than Moltres who will be somewhere on the boundary).

EDIT: And you have to beat all the Kanto gyms to get access to Mewtwo.

Can you clone pokemon in HG/SS?

Is it possible to migrate Pokemon from D/P, or will I have to use my second (and someone broken) DS to trade between the two if I want to use them?

I only ask because I spent days on finding shiny Ralts and now I'll be playing a new game.

I believe that the games will be compatible via trading, so yes, you would need the other gameboy. Plus, I also believe that you need to beat a certain amount of the game before you can trade, similar to FR/LG with RSE.

Is the only way to get Palkia and Dialga with an event?

Yes, you can only obtain them with the Arceus event.

Does anyone know if we'll be able to trade eggs from D/P to HG/SS at the start of the game? or will it be similar to emerald where certain story elements have to be completed?

@Ryder: I would assume it's a one-shot event with Celebi. A couple Japanese players posted videos of the event, and apparently it's not something that can be repeated. If I'm wrong, then I apologize...

@Dangertrout: Can't rightly say, but I'd think the latter would be most likely. But there leaves to question (for me) what became of an event involving Bill when you reached Ecruteak City in the original games? In the second gen, you gain access to the Time Capsule, which allowed you to import Pokemon from the first generation games so long as you had first gen Pokemon that didn't have what were then new moves or hold items to trade for them. This event may have been re-edited to allow trading with the DP games once you get there (which I hope they did), but again I can't say that for sure...yet.

Sorry to ask, but if I needed someone to trade with me to get some of my pokemon like Seadra or Machoke to evolve in Heart Gold, where would I go on the site to arrange that?

When do you start to see Gen 3 and 4 pokes?
