You see a few trainers in Kanto with them.

From what I heard you can, their pokedex number will be ??? until you get the national.

After you unlock Rugged Road (50 watts) you need to go there with a pokemon and walk at least 5000 step in one trip. After that, use your radar to look in the grass. If you see a "!!!" then you'll either find an Onix or a Magby. Magby is less likely, and if you find Onix instead, you can't find Magby in the same walk.

I am finally joining in the questioning & answering & I'll start with a question;
When you give your pokemon Aprijuice...does the smoothness & performance increasing effects last forever or what's the deal on that...
cause they say that it's performance is based on the day of the week?...don't get it...

Does anyone have a list of pokemon and what trainers have them and such for the Johto Dex, so I can get the National Dex?

You get the National Dex just before you go to Kanto. You can't see all of the Johto Dex Pokemon in one game without trading.
Heart Scales can found by using Rock Smash. I suggest going to Cianwood City and going in and out of the house near where you battle Eusine until you break a rock that has one. You'll also get Max Ethers, Revives and the four different colors of Shards.

huh. i found three magbys and four onix's in one trip. course, i can only carry three, so i kept the magbys since psypoke says their rare. if you need a magby check out my trading post, perhaps we can work somethin out.
oh, and I'll try again with this question. since nobody answers each time XD. can you clone in HGSS? anyone know yet?

you have to manually tune it, to find the pokeflute channel, its not a preset channel. i think. someone correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure this is right.

Are mushrooms useful in these games or should I be selling them?

Im pretty sure you use heart scales for the rememberer instead of mushrooms like in FR/LG. That would be the only purpose that i can think of for mushrooms, and since now we use heart scales, im pretty sure you just sell the mushrooms.

Psper12 wrote: anyone have any tips on using the itemfinder in the pokewalker? hmm. i always start with the second from the left patch of grass, and if it says its near, you have a fifty fifty chance of getting an item, if it says its far away, then i usually choose the patch of grass second from the right. when i use this method, i almost always get an item. but choose whatever method that works best for you.

Here's some good ones...
1. unless it turns yellow, there is nothing in range of you...
2. if it does that means the opposite of no. 1
3. what to look for once no. 2 is met is...is there a big yellowish surface around where you are standing now?...if so, then just look around the general area til you see a dark orangish dot/circle on the Downsing Machine in the area that is yellowish...that dot/circle is your item...well, go get it or find a way to it then go get it...
4. Hope I helped...tend to be random with the helpfulness thing... um. lawence? hes talking about the dowsing machine in the pokewalker. i could be wrong, but are you talking about the dowsing machine in the actual HG/SS game?

Yeah, my bad...I was...
& I'll ask once more... Is the effects of Aprijuice permanent or just for the Day of The Week or Pokeathlon Attempt it's used on/for?...anyone?
