swampert is the best cause it has only one wakness - grass.
however it can learn ice beam to kill it!
it can also beat the league by itself at lv.80 with ice beam, surf,
brick break and earthquake.

having a 4 times weakness doesnt make you great, it makes you suck.

also, swampert is a physical attacker so that ice beam wont do as much as you thought.

My second favorite Pokémon, MARSHTOMP!

swampert is great, just giv it a bit of speed and spc. attack, and then the only thing that can beat it it a shedinja with giga drain, and by then we(who are smart for chosing swampert(i can spell)) hav already switched pokemon to somthing with a fire move(or flying, rock, ghost, dark) and are smashing it so bad that its HP goes down to -1(coz its HP dosen't go past 1, but if we could we would make it -INFIITY(it would say that on the screen)). so that is why it is the best

i agree swampert is strong but instead of ice beam you can give it ice punch(because its a physical attack)

but i dont agree with giving it more speed and sp. attack i would rather try to just increase attack defense and HP its 3 best stats

Clearly, without a doubt, Linoone is the best Hoenn pokemon.

Not only is Linoone cute and fuzzy, it is blessed with the holy trinity of sweeping ability. Linoone may not have been so great in the 3rd generation, but it is pownage in the 4th generation.

Linoone's holy trinity 1.Belly Drum - A move that maximizes attack but cuts health to 50%. 2.Gluttony - Linoone's ability Gluttony allows it to eat its held berry when its health is at 50%. 3.Extremespeed - A move Zigzagoon can be hatched out of an egg with in Pokemon Box. This ensures Linoone goes first.

Aggron is 794 pounds of serious koolness too.

The best Hoenn pokemon, not including ubers, and in no particular order.

-Absol - Back in the day this cat monster thing was THE physical sweeper, plus how cool is a cat with a scythe on its head?
-Blaziken - To use Frost's wording, Blaziken has a lot of fantards, despite that it was a unique type combo with gen III came out and Blaziken represented well
-Flygon - STAB with the Earthquake, STAB with the Outrage, immune to Sandstorm, pretty cool huh?
-Zigzagoon - Why Zigzagoon? Two words: Pick. Up. This by far one of the most useful ability early on in the game, free Ultra Balls, Rare Candies, vitamins and Nuggets? Hecks yeah!
-Swampert - A nice upgrade from Quagsire, even though Quagsire is so freaking cute and Mudkips aren't that awesome.
-Ninjask - For making other Baton Passers look bad.

I agree Zigzagoon is Kool, but only because it evolves into Linoone.

I didn't say they weren't awesome, just not that awesome.

My favorites are definitely because he's the best steel type EVER. Also = BEAST. was awesome, as well as his friend . Also is tight. Not for any statistical reasons, but because he's cool like that.

There's almost nothing called best pokemon, every pokemon has it's own weakness.

But i'm agree with people who said about Swampert, Breloom, and Aggron.

The last game that I played having been the original silver, I love the ability that and and a couple of others just randomaly pick up items that can be very useful in the beginning of the game and awsome towards the end.

Yes,I leik mudkipz too, but Blaziken is my signature wall-breaker.Also,I trained a trapinch to level 89 for a specific moveset for Flygon.(no, I'm not a fantard of Blaziken or Flygon.)

Well I think that Sceptile is the best Pokemon. He/She is the only starter (well second evolution of it) that is super-effective against both, Groudon and Kyogre!

I agree in that sceptile is the best fully evolved starter
