Has anyone else seen and loved this movie?
As a little bitty childerkin, I watched it countless times in japanese, and even not knowing what they were saying, I fell in love with the music, the art, and the adorable totoro and mini totoros and the kickarse catbus.
If you haven't seen it, you need to. It's by the same guy who drew the new movie Ponyo, and the classics Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away.
I recently watched part of an American dub of the movie, and I was impressed. The only issue I had was that the songs sounded better sung in japanese.
So. Have you seen it? Did you like it?

I remember seeing it when I was a little kid. Although it was in english I have seen it in japanese with just english dub. Usually movies sound better in the language they are originally made in but at least we didn't brutally kill it. I absolutely loved it with its cute animation and for the cat bus. Great cute way of drawing things and a lot of creativity and orginality in the movie as well.
I've actually seen most of his works although I haven't seen Ponyo. I'm just waiting for it to come to video since I don't want to have to deal with other people.

I liked this movie as a kid too, as well as Kiki's delivery service which was by the same guy (mainly b/c I was obsessed with cats when I was younger).
