Here are some fusions I made. Please comment and criticize them. This is Igglywag, my first fusion! I like to call this one Charmandaquil. I did it late at night, so it isn't as good as it could have been. This is Chikotwig! It is my newest fusion.

You need to work a little on part placement. You seem to have recoloring down pretty well, but remember to stay consistent with shading. just because you're using a different color or part there doesn't mean it doesn't need to be shaded anymore . Also you need to work on scratch parts. I'm going to suppose that the bottom of the swirl on Igglywag is handmade because of how scratchy it is. Here is a nice guide. Hope that helps, I'm always kind of excited to actually just look and see how much someone has improved. (:

Thanks, M_B. I'll work on it and see how it goes. EDIT: The bottom of the swirl was handmade because the poliwag's foot was blocking the rest of it

Sorry for the double post, but... I call this one Skarmantine, two Johto counterparts fused together. I guess working on it late at night made me miss some spots .

@S_E and fgdfgd31: I'm FEMALE! Anyway, Say hello to Seedgey! I got the idea from one of the minor Treasure Town teams in PMD2.

This one isn't my favorite because of some problems with the front ear and shading, and it's not exactly the right size for a sprite... Idea came from the term Skitty on Wailord somewhere on the internet. It seems kind of weird to me because: <lame excuse>This was done late at night and I'm running out of ideas and so on and so forth</lame excuse> ... not the best I have done. Seedgey is #1 on my list so far.

I was running out of ideas, so I used a random sprite generator to make this fusion: Manchou! It actually turned out pretty well. Please criticize/comment/suggest for my artwork.

Ah, I see. I was wrong. Sorry, Thundawave.

Vespidinja, vespiquen and shedinja. It took a long time, but it was worth the effort. Hopefully I improved on the scratch spriting for the stripes.

I think that's better than the previous ones. I don't really know much about sprite-making, but it looks way better than your first creations. Good job! Only if I could make one myself... *sniffle sniffle* Where do you get the things for making sprites?

You can get the sprites from the psydex or from other pokemon sites. There are some good spriting guides (check M_B's link above) and you can edit your images on iaza.com. If you ever make your own sprites, I'd be happy to see them.

Sometimes, a spriter can appear bad if the Pokemon they fuse aren't very compatable. Thundawave, I thought that you weren't very good at this untill I saw Manchou. Maybe you just haven't developed a 'spriters instinct' for compatable Pokemon yet.

Maybe you just haven't developed a 'spriters instinct' for compatable Pokemon yet. for this, i usually go with whatever has similarities between the sprites (other than color, as that's easy to change). basically, i usually look for pokemon in similar poses, or have similar body parts (flames, trees/plants, etc.). which is why it always mkes me mad when i get stupid requests like wailord+luvdisc+sudowoodo (that sprite sucked ass, btw). but doing stuff like that is good practice as well, a lot of the time.

Here are some more. Before the advice about compatible pokemon, I made this using a random sprite generator to get the combination: This is Bonsmeargle. I know it sucks. It doesn't deserve to become transparent. Now after the advice: Munchodile! Munchlax and Totodile. They seem to work well when fused together.

eh, its a decent fusion (the totodile/munchlax one) but I don't know if they're exactly compatible. It's strange, my very first sprites were some of my best spriting. Sceptales, and Floatshroom. Those 2 were some of my first, and out of all my sprites the best. I've lost my creativity, and sense of compatibility. I want to get back into spriting but i've lost my sense of how things should go together.

Can someone please suggest for what I should do? I am currently out of ideas for my sprites. Anything but animations because I tried one and it was a total flop.
