That's because Garchump dropped to OU as well, Mence is simply outclassed. Dragonite is used much more as a tank than a sweeper.

God Roost+Multiscale is annoying...

They need to bring back Ruby and Sapphire's Dragonite sprite. The latest ones of Dragonite are not very cute at all.

Anyway, for me, it's always been Dragonite > Salamence (I admit, the only reason I used Salamence was to stand a chance against wifi battles in the day, until I switched that mofo to Flygon). Everyone bar a few only love it again now cause of it's new dream ability. What up.

Mason and Crunchy pretty much hit it on the head.

Dragonite + Multiscale + Roost + Substitute + Thunder Wave + Dragon Tail = the most annoying set ever.

And I thought that my tank Swampert was annoying... Sleep Talk + Rest with EQ and Avalanche was a lot of fun. I have such a long ways to go before I am going to be competitive again, but now at least I know I have a goal in this new dragonite!

Which means Chansey > Blissey!!!

Except Chansey has almost half the S.atk, so all it can really do is toxic/heal bell, Wish(Only in PO) and Seismic toss(common in PO, but is typically without it in Wifi). and maybe an Ice beam or Flamethrower for the 4x weaks.

Blissey has lower def, but has leftovers recovery, can still wall special with ease, can semi function if hit by trick/knock off, and can actually pull some offensive.


So does it bug anyone else that even though it's been 5-6 years since the Wish Chansey giveaway, that Max IV Chansey ones are being used. You'd think they would have all been Blisseys by now..

When put in the right hands Dragonite is just as BA as Salamence. Thank you goes out to Shinon from the Nuzlocke Forums for drawing the most beautiful Dragonite to grace the earth.

My problem with Dragonite isn't that it's cute. It's that there's a beautiful majestic blue dragon in Dragonair, and then it suddenly becomes some orange thing from Dragon Tales. I'm perfectly fine with it existing, I just don't like that that's what they did with Dragonair.

And I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you on that image. Putting some ominous dark clouds behind it doesn't make it awesome. Cut out the background and that's the same old Dragonite.

Here's another Dragonite that I think has a much more regal appearance to it that fits better with Dragonair while being something you could probably appreciate more. I may be wrong though.
