You can re-breed for IVs, so if you get good ones, it's best to keep them. You can always pass them down and then do some nature-breeding at the same time, so you get the best of both.

Of course, with legendaries and events, you have to do both at once.

Ok, so I used my BW2 game in my Ds lite last night (I normally play it on my 3DSXL) to trade over a Pokemon for Breeding purposes(to my BW game). Now When I go to try Game sync today, it says I have to wait a day. Also when I try to Buy things from Join Avenue, Everyone is sold out. (Even though I had not bought everyone out yesterday). The Game sync I can understand, but the Shops being sold out? Anyone have an explanation?

I had a strange thing happen twice this week. I received 2 mid-level Pokemon (62 & 45) from the GTS, a Miltank and a Dugtrio ... different days, different OTs. When I later entered their stats to check their IVs, BOTH looked like this:

HP 0
Atk 0
Def 0
SpAtk 0
SpDef 0
Spe 0

I was baffled. Is this an indication that they are hacks?

when i evolved a clefairy(female) and a glameow(male) with their hidden abilities, their abilities changed but when i evolved a shellos (female) and a minccino (male) they kept them. WHY!!!!

Clefairy and Glameow have different hidden abilities from their evolved forms.
Shellos and Minccino have the same hidden abilities as their evolved forms.

This will be my first playthrough on Pokemon Black. I was wondering what a good starter team would be. No trades or anything like that, I want a team I can get just from playing the game.

You may only take 500 steps before you're kicked out of Abyssal Ruins.
Its only purpose is to obtain Arceus' plates and to get the Relic items to sell for more money.
The symbols talk about a king.
Unless you have Arceus or need more money, Abyssal ruins is useless.

You require HMs to get to the higher floors. I believe you need Cut, Flash, and...Strength?

I skimmed through the FAQs and didn't see my question, so if I missed it ... I apologize. I have Googled for an answer, but to no avail.

How the heck do you remove held mail from a Pokemon? I've tried several different ways when logged into the PC, but nothing works. I tried depositing the Poke, but can't until I remove the mail. Yet, it says it can't be removed. And if you receive a Pokemon (through trade, which would be the sole purpose of using it in the first place), how do you actually read it?

I'm stumped ...

I haven't tried, but assuming it is just like any other held item, go to the Pokemon screen from the menu. Click on the Pokemon as if you wanted to use Fly or check its stats. There should be an option called 'Item'. Click that and the options should be Give or Take. Select Take. (Note: these may not be the exact names of the options).

Cherrygrove, you are a jewel! That was the one thing I didn't think to try. That did the trick. Yes, when you go to the Pokemon menu and select your Poke, in place of the 'Item' option, you will see 'Mail'. Once you select that, it gives you another option: 'Send mail to PC', to which you chose Yes or No.

I just acquired a 3DS & was wondering if I would be able to use it with the same Black 1 & White 2 game cards I acquired Game Sync IDs for to Game Sync as I normally would, being able to visit the DW, have all my Dream Points & other PGL account goodies?...

I am concerned that doing so will not allow me to tuck in a Pokemon successfully anymore & I always up until this point used my DSLite to Game Sync on both of my game cards but have no connection compatible with it anymore so I want to use my 3DS to do so in it's place, is it possible even if after a 24 hour wait?...

Yes, you will be able to use the same game cards, and everything you have obtainted will remain. After the 24 hour period, you will be able to tuck in your Pokemon. Your purchasable items in Join Avenue will be 'sold out', as well, but will be available after the 24 hour period.
